Our house overlooks Carisbrooke Castle and the church in Carisbrooke Village , it’s a beautiful place . Can’t believe the way your sat nav took you to get to the castle .

Steve also tried on the heavy hat when we went last year. Those steps are very steep but the view from the top made it all worth it. I would recommend a visit to the castle to anyone. Take care Gill

Really cannot understand the route Mrs SatNag took you...... especially up Nunnery Lane. 🤔.......but probably a more scenic option than going through Newport. My house is only about three quarters of a mile from Carisbrooke Castle and I regularly walk my dog around the grounds and the moat. Glad you enjoyed your day out......and glad you liked the island.

Oh goodness….that sent you up the narrowest road. Nunnery lane comes out by the Priory. It’s lovely there too!

On the car setting she will just look for the shortest A to B route, as long as the car will fit down it.
