Royal enfield is no way near in competing in engine performance and reliability of Honda.

That may be due to a faulty battery unit. Never heard before about this issue.

Difference of 50000.
That was the reason I purchased RE Hunter.
And loved the machine. I always wanted to buy a Royal Enfield that is lightweight, easy to handle.

HONDA CB350 RS is far better than Hunter 350, honda ka engine hai, hunter ki wires dekho kitna unmanaged hai, honda me full Led lights hai, hunter ki ground clearance scoty ki tara kamm hai... Aur bahot kuch hai
Bike also looks very small, can't compare both. While honda cb350 was like meteor or classic in size. But this hunter is like scotty.

One thing to note brother mileage is far better in Honda CB350 almost 40 km/lit.
Hunter's official mileage is 35.

Some people are saying tht RE sales figure is much more than Honda.. So RE better than honda... Hero splendor sales figure is way more than these 2 bikes but it doesn't make it better than RE
Nice options both of them for to those graduating from the FZ and pulsars...and those freshers who wish to own the Royal Enfield brand... totally justified...but for us veterans that liquid cooled new motor would be worth waiting....lighter weight 40bhp and reasonable service and spares costing... we're waiting...

Honda makes the best engines. Cant comment on other parts on the bike. Even their cars have great engines, not so good transmissions. You could supercharge the standard Civic engine with 30% boost, no problem.

Personally Hunter 350 is perfect for me because I’m looking to ride in the city. My needs are only getting from point A to point B with an unstressed ride.
However if the Honda CB350 had same wheelbase and wheel size as the Hunter then I would easily pick that over the RE.

Bro i think you are wrong about city riding Coz i have both bike in my hand and Trust me after riding Honda for 3 months going back to Hunter doesnt feels so gud becoz the clutch of Hunter kills the idea of RE that it was made for traffic(city) . The stiffness of the clutch on Hunter is quite pain in the ass.
And now coming to cb350, it looks like a big bike but trust me once you sit on it and ride it then you start to see the magic Honda has done to this bike it seems sooo flickable and easy to ride and that clutch OH MY GOD you can operate it with a finger. Only downside of the cb is that it doesnt offer much low end torque if compared to Hunter j series. And that exhaust note 'eargasm' will be a good word to say it all, you will fall in love with it and it doesnt bother your ears no matter how long you ride this machine its like a music to your ears.

Honda is slightly better overall. By a very tiny margin.
But for that paying around 50k more makes no sense.
And considering the power delivery and that thump and oomph in the lower and mid torque - I loved hunter for it's initial power delivery.
And RE is RE - and getting it for this steal of a price - there are no second thoughts.
And regarding service, spares and accessories it's a big win for RE
well said.
Not slightly, It's considerably better, No vibration, Refinement is at different level, 150 Top Speed unlike hunter which just stops at 120 which is a huge difference which makes Honda much faster, Slipper clutch and TC. Absolutely makes sense to pay more 50k for a better bigger much more reliable motorcycle which doesn't break here & there and lasts much longer than any royal enfield

That extra 50k will be saved in maintenance cost as if you keep your bike for long and also Honda actually has better brakes , handling plus better engine with slipper clutch , traction control and also advanced digital gauge so you pay for what you get . Also it has got a better road presence, hunter looks small .

@@fryingpan2168 I totally agree with you on this. But then again this is from Big Wings and their service centres are far too few or close to nil almost anywhere you check.
The service hassle and the spare parts challenges - again makes me wonder. For a safer side I think it’s better to go ahead with Hunter.
But as you mentioned about the brakes - I found them quite similar. The RE engines are great and their bikes have great resale value. There is no doubt about Honda engines - but again there are a few of the other things to be considered as mentioned above 👆
So overall I like them both - but a few key things tip me towards the RE and just that price tag of 50k more is a little challenging.
If Honda comes up with more showrooms and service centres and if the price difference was around 20-25k - then the Honda is a no brainer
But as per the given scenario is still tip towards the RE
@@fryingpan2168 I liked the handling of Hunter better. Traction control for 350cc is just now required. Doesn’t make sense. Slipper clutch is one thing which I find missing on the Hunter but that doesn’t make it a make or break deal

Ronin > cb350 > Hunter.. tvs ronin is far better compare two both cb350, hunter.. in terms of features, fit & finish & modern looks.
Ronin. TVS Ronin. Seriously. That bike is a kachumber of sorts. God knows what was going on in their head when they okeyed that design. The driving pleasure and the ease of power delivery of Ronin is nowhere close to the other two.
The only place Ronin excels is in giving you features - but for sheer drivability - it's hunter and Cb350 all the way.
Buy Ronin if and only if you are looking for tech features and all that little stuff.
But if you want to enjoy and have a pleasureable ride - go for the Hunter
I have driven all the three including Hness.

I picked the hunter because I loved the overall sportier design, it looks approachable and fun to ride. Nothing serious - just a good fun ride was what I was looking for and this shows.
Cb350 it's a little sophisticated. I am done driving such bikes from RE. Wanted a little more compact funfilled bike - so I chose hunter.
It's your call to make - for road presence -

Sporty, compact and fun - Hunter

Cb350 is for those who dont have problem stretching the budget and get the best (in terms of features, looks, everything)
Most of the people come between this two categories but hunter actually makes no sense its only for re fanboys who are into "feel" and "emotion".
