just to let you know, some keyboard switches looks 100% like this, but they are soldered :) , if you try to get them out, you will damage your keyboard
That's why owners should know if their keyboard is hot swappable or not. One cannot tell by looks if the switches are soldered unless the keyboard is disassembled.
Could you please tell me if it's possible to remove the switches on the left and right of the middle spacebar switch? One of those doesn't function on my keyboard and it's greatly impacted my typing
@@GlobalBadminton that means yes, every switch is removable. Wait, do you mean the stabilizers? The two stems on either side of the space bar are part of a single stabilizer. Here you can see how you push in the lock tabs on either side of the stabilizer and angle up both of them and then slide it out. ruclips.net/video/1IR-IX0t9vM/видео.html
@@MechKeyboards basically, pressing the left side of my spacebar raises the right side of my spacebar... If that makes sense. Pressing the right or center of my spacebar allows me to use the space key normally.
my switches always break on top when i use the force enought to remove it and i dont have any other switch puller :( and i cant really feel when i find the pulling spots so i hardly pull 4 switches and all of them are broken now
Wow, that's crazy. What switches/keyboard? I've only ever had Keychron keycap stems break, but I've never had a switch break when removing a keycap (knocks on wood)!
Can you help me, I use QiLive Q.3611 and it should be hotswappable but my switch wouldn’t pull itself out even by putting effort on it? I use switch puller
"It should be hot swappable" Why do you think that it is, did it come with extra switches or a switch puller? Have you confirmed with the vendor if it is hot swappable?
@@Dark.〆 if there was no switch puller, it's unlikely to be hot swap. Attempting to remove switches from a hot swap keyboard can damage your equipment.
hey so lets say hypothetically speaking one of the pins bent and caused the inside of where the pin goes which seem to be the both 😂 and tkconnections, spread allenemee jih h

@@MechKeyboards yeah I think i mean the pins. Pressing the left pin doesn't register the space key for some reason.

Im using a switch puller but the only thing coming of is the top bit of the switch?
Are you certain that your keyboard is hot swappable?
@@MechKeyboards I think so my keyboard is a stk61
@@Jodokz. The Ajazz STK61 does not appear to be hot swappable.
@@MechKeyboardsI spent about an hour trying to get these switches out, thanks 😅

Is this the same for optical switches?
Yes, there are just no pins to worry about.
Thanks!
Where you get that tool from whats it called
A wire key switch puller, comes with hot swap keyboards or can be ordered online.
