Yes 15,000+ years of habitation North America. The oldest point artifact found in Virginia came up on a trawl boat from 400 feet below the current ocean level with Mastadon bones from a kill site that carbon dated 23K BP, by the bones. The point is named Solutrian culture. Occupation predates this 23K other places in North America.

There are multiple people on here finding more than me. That Coyote Arrowhead Hunting guy just walks around and finds handfuls of high quality relics in the desert. Where I am by the river. There are 100 times the artifacts ... If I go out for an 8 hour day sifting. And feel good and can dig....it is a point or artifacts of some kind per hour. And probably even more. But you have to sift hard...and be in shape. Hard Work...is what is achieving this. And the probe. The probe keeps me where I need to be. So I dont have to do a lot of random digging in trash layers. I am just always in the pay dirt. That is key

Archeologist is a title that doesn't mean much of anything in the current day. Amateurs like us out here have forgotten more than a percentage of archeologist ever knew. It's an ego game, not a game for seeking truth. Archeologist are a joke mostly.

    •  Месяц назад +1

Archeologists typically would NOT appreciate what people like Rocks or myself are doing, they say we desecrate sites and destroy history by removing rocks from beaches like that.

It is the fact I am not going to the dump. Sweating through your pants shirt and having to wear a hooded sweatshirt in the dump when it is 100 degree's. That got me in shape. Like never before. Now on the river it is a cake walk. I dug earlier for a good while. Came home to eat lunch. Im going back for more. I could have never done that after a dump trip.
