Lamy "Pink Cliff" 2024 Special Edition Safari and Fountain Pen Ink

My take on the Lamy Safari fountain pen in the 2024 Special Edition "Pink Cliff" as well as the 50ml ink bottle. These were a fun pickup but far from a must-have purchase. I do still really enjoy and recommend the Safari fountain pen, but I prefer the Vista.

I’m not sure how I feel about the bi-colour body design, it looks messy to my eyes, but I'm not very adventurous with colour so it’s pretty subjective. Thanks for the review.

The ink is just called Cliff. Likewise, the ink for the Violet Blackberry Safari is just called Blackberry. Thanks for making this video, by the way. The Pink Cliff has a lot of haters, but I think it's cool. I got the Violet Blackberry instead though. I made a video about it if you want to check it out.

This is an interesting color pairing for Lamy and the first special edition that i have seen where they combine colors. It is usually just one color with maybe different colored hardware. Would like to see where they go from here.

kinda looks like the gray plastic they use in computers from the early 2000s

I have a safari clone, Jinhao 599A. I find the grip too agressive hence why I don't got a real one yet. Penbbs 494 had a triangular ish shape as well but I can grip that pen decently. My hypermobility acts up with a too aggressive type of triangle grip. If possible, I would like to see the 599A and Safari H2H before I decide to get a Safari (Ballpoint as I already have a Kaweco otw).

New Sarasa Grand Vintage Renewal just dropped on Tokyo Pen Shop. Looks like they dropped that intrusive clip lower onto the pen.

Not for me, I dont like Safari nibs, nor this colourway. However, I love your channel.
