Thanks to the people who suggested this after the last gaming ramble video! This was the most fun one of these to make so far so I hope you guys like it! What games do YOU replay the most? Thanks for watching!
I'd probably say OoT, but I really don't like replaying through the Shadow and the Spirit temples... > I complete the Forest, Fire, and Water temple, but that's about it... > Also, just trying as many as of the Gold Skulls, but not 100% the game...

I'm 21 and I found PBG when I was about 7. I remember taking in all this new info ab games I hadn't played before like a sponge. Def shaped my taste a bit.
Ha! Seeing Bart's Nightmare gave me such a huge flashback to watching that video of yours all the way back when I was in elementary school! So great to continue to watch your content all these years!
I always dig a good “here’re my favorite games” video. I missed two or three whole generations of games, and I always learn about games I later try and enjoy!
Saw the notification and clicked it immediately always nice to watch your peeps video while doing something else you know it’s not too engaging. It’s just kind of casual and I can just sort of watch it like how much people listen to podcast while I animate or edit.
Love this! Peebs, you can literally do this video format and I'm happy. Show us your collection, tell stoires from you life, share your loving of gameing!
I’m the same as you Peebs. If I don’t continuously play a game until completion then when I go back to the game I restart it. It sometimes frustrates me that I have to do it that way and I often have to stick to a game to completion!!
To me, the true hallmark for how fun a game is is by how many times you've replayed it. I loved hearing you talk about these games, Peebs. Gaming discourse has just become so tiring for me to even entertain recently because most of the time people don't even talk about a game, but rather use it as ammo to win a repetitive and pointless argument. So believe me when I say, it is so nice just to hear you talk so passionately about a game you like enough to have played it multiple times.
I totally feel you and your gaming habits! I also will pick up a game for a while, lose interest and forget about it, and then end up starting over when I pick it back up again. My backlog of unbeaten games just sits there judging me lol. I think the game I've replayed the most is Pokemon Black and White. I've started new save files on those games many a time. Luigi's Mansion too though, I am a Dark Moon fan but I agree that it's more fun when the boss ghosts have more zest to them. Makes me want to pick up LM3 again. Oh, and Tomodachi Life! I always end up going back to Tomodachi Life.
Pokemon Black is one of my most regretted games that I've sold, and I would love to pick it up again someday, if not for its modern price tag. Its core mechanics may be lacking in some regards compared to later Pokemon games, but in terms of story and progression, it has by far the best single-player campaign of any mainline Pokemon game to date.
One of my most replayed games of all time is Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story, specifically the original DS version. I love the Mario & Luigi series in general, but BIS is special to me. Playing as both the Mario Bros and Bowser is just an absolute blast, the humor is spot on, and exploring the inside of Bowser is so creative and fun. I replay that game almost every year since it came out. That game is easily in my top 3 favorite games of all time.
Luigi's Mansion is such a great top pick. It scratches an itch that no other game can scratch, and you'd never even know you had that itch until you've played it. Masterfully crafted.
I definitely would like to see an updated top 10 favorite games video! Hell, top 20 would be fun too. I just like hearing about people's favorite games, it's like a mirror to one's soul.
A current top 10 vidoe games list would be super fun to see! I have replayed skyward sword more times than I can count, I just love the visuals, the dungeons and the music so much
I gotta say I love this guy. I knew of PBG since many years ago of course but I started consuming English content like 3 years ago and never happened to watch one of his videos till very recently. 21:40 A Wonderful Life has a special place in my heart. It's the first game in the franchise I played. I always wanted to play Friends of Mineral Town but we could never find it.
Nice one!! I always love when people talk about the games they like, you can feel the passion of it! Also, Rune Factory Frontier mentioned! Time to play it again! ( Remaster when? MARVELOUS PLEASE 🥺) Great vid 😎

I tend to replay a lot of RPGs, like Chrono Cross, (PS1) Final Fantasy 7 and 9, Quest 64, and Dark Cloud, to name a few. I also have a love for Zelda: Majora's Mask, Rune Factory 4 Special, Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland, Harvest Moon: Animal Parade, Super Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Katamari Damacy, Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver, and Yo-Kai Watch 2. The list could go on, but a lot tend to be RPGs. XD
Quest 64 huh? That must have been one of your first RPGs. I played it not that long ago for the first time, and while I was enjoying it at the start, by the time I got 2 of the rock thingies it was getting tedious. I did finish it since one day I want to finish every single N64 game, but the longer you go the more it screams "unfinished" lol.
@@AndresLionheart It's both unfinished and had large time-restraints, so while they had a lot more ideas they wanted to implement in Quest 64, they sadly had to scrap a lot of it to be able to release it in time. I really wish we could have seen the true final product, though.

Is it weird that I get teary-eyed every time I get to the ending of Luigi's Mansion? Probably the most heartwarming moment in the entire franchise if you ask me. (Also the end credits theme is such a bop)
That car peebs is driving in road trip is an Alfa Romeo SZ! Italians call it ‘The Monster’ because it’s monstrously ugly lol. I think it’s badass though

Awesome video, sir! I always love it when folks talk about their favorite games to play. I was expecting the editor to make fun of the fact that you said "Luigi's Mansion: New Moon" a bunch of times when it's actually called "Dark Moon" and then you dropped that "New Moon" clip, just masterful 🤣
Luigi's Mansion is also an extremely replayable game for me and a huge part of my childhood growing up! I still love playing it to this day and beat it hundreds of times by now, the mansion feels like a second home in a way and that makes it especially fun to explore
I just made my own video about this same topic not that long ago. Then I saw your list about games you will never play again and wanted to make my own list. Working on recording for that list now. Then I saw this video post today! Love both videos by the way!
I play lots of horror games! Tbh I should have put Alien Isolation on here, but I don’t own a physical copy so didn’t think about it. I’ll have to do some more steam centered versions of this videos sometime.
Honestly, I’ve been having a blast playing city folk lately. I’m going in four weeks of just hopping on for an hour and seeing what’s up. Accomplishing a little at a time. It’s really fun! City Folk has me hooked
I'm so happy you love rune factory frontier. It feels like no one else knows what it is sometimes. If you ever make that rune factory frontier video omg it would make me so unbeliveably happy, like childhood healed cause someone noticed my favourite game, finally totally get you with the runeys my mum had a whole notebook to calculate them all and it looked like hell
Luigi's Mansion is one of my comfort games, for like the past 5 or 6 years I've replayed it every October while streaming it to friends. It's weird that I don't really like 2 or 3 that much, I haven't played through 2 in probably 10 years and I've never finished 3 despite being super excited for it. Something about the original is just so special to me.
Nice video PBG!! If I had to make a list of older games I replay to this day it would be: Sonic Adventure 2 Battle Donkey Kong 64 Banjo Kazooie (and Tooie) Kirby Air Ride Kirby and the Crystal Shards Mischief Makers Yoshi's Island Donkey Kong Country 2 Super Smash Bros Melee Animal Crossing Harvest Moon Another Wonderful Life Billy Hatcher and Bloodborne (Yes I'm putting that on my list now, it'll be a 10 year old game very soon and is an amazing work of art)
Glad to see Austin still plays GTA tbh. That game doesn’t always get around on the more Retro / Nintendo-centric side of RUclips tbh. Weird that he never touched online or got around to beating it tho. Easily the most accessible and easy one to beat. Back then, I remember people complaining it was too short but really I think a lot of the play time was cut down by less filler missions, not needing to heal, and not needing to wait for mission times. The game’s not like a crazy long JRPG tbh, u could beat it in like a week or dedicated weekend tbh. Also I know Trevor’s the crazy one who was kinda designed as the classic rampage guy, but he was also designed to have more hidden depth and honor than to mess with innocent people. He’s kind of a “don’t judge a book by its cover” kind of character in a way. Wether he’s just disturbed or downright evil is more down to the player’s discretion with a lot of his worse possible crimes being ambiguous or gray. When I play the games, I don’t mess with innocent civilians unless I’m not saving the game lol.
Good video! It is always fun to see what games people enjoyed when they were younger (and still enjoy). I have less time to play games, so I don't tend to replay games that are more of a time investment. The games I "replay" the most are usually ones that are pick-up-and-play such as the Puzzle Bobble games, the Puyo Puyo games, Tetris Attack, Smash Ultimate, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, any Mario Party (many of these games with friends). Though, I still can replay the original Mario trilogy (or All-Stars), Sonic Genesis trilogy/Sonic CD, Earthworm Jim 1&2, Super Mario World, Super Mario Land 2, Donkey Kong Country trilogy, Rocket Knight Adventures, Ristar and a multitude of other 8 and 16 bit games as I know them inside and out but still enjoy them. I did used to replay games a lot more over the past few decades as well so I've also played through Super Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, Donkey Kong 64, Rayman 2, Kirby 64, original Spyro the Dragon trilogy, original Crash Bandicoot trilogy, Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask, and the older Pokémon games at _least_ three times each total. With many modern games now, I just don't have as much time to play games so getting through one single player game can take much longer (and I usually won't even replay it).
Oh my god thank you for writing a description. I'm sure you do it for most videos but I haven't looked because like, nobody writes descriptions anymore. I was looking to see if there might be a link to the ps2 video because that everywhere racing game sounded really interesting, and you not only had a link to it, you actually have a whole description. It's great. Why does nobody write them anymore? They're literally like, just spend a few minutes per video. Sometimes they're fun to write even.
Yeah, this is the reason why I keep Oblivion constantly installed on my PC, because I know I will just boot it up one day, start from the beginning and run around for like 10-15 hours, it just got this special atmosphere...in fact I may do it pretty soon because of your video.
I also start games over all the time, but it never bothers me. Sometimes it's because I just don't remember what I was doing and other times it's because I'm tired of having everything. My favorite parts of games are when I have nothing and everything is fresh. At the start everything matters so much more because you have so little and I love that. Makes things feel so much more rewarding. This is why I rarely get far in survival games, because it feels so good when your just start finding the good stuff.
I've replayed Rune Factory Frontier so many times over my life as well, I usually go with Melody but Annette and Cinnamon are really great too! I've always loved the art style of the game more than some of the sequels, I just think the way the world looks is so relaxing and pretty
Not finishing games you like because you want to start from the beginning is too real. It's gotta be the combination of not wanting it to be over so soon (especially if you're coming back after putting it down for a while, see also: adhd and getting distracted), the comfy familiarity of the beginning of the game, and the potential and excitement of the whole game being ahead of you. Always good to hear about other weirdos like me with strange gaming habits, lmao
I love vids like this, I'm not big on Nintendo, but, for his nintendo games it is PC games for me. Notably rts games and other strategy games, lol. I hope Elder Scrolls 6 is good, so, "It just Works" Tod Howard goes out on a high note. For his Zelda games it's basically my Civilization as Civ 3 and 2. I have so much nostalgia for them. Great vid bro, takes me back to older days!
@1:33 I also have a bad habit where I'll get near the end of a game and start over. I'll do it just because I'll stop playing it, and when I do come back to it, I know I'll not remember where I'm at, what I've collected, what I've done and not done, lol. It's just easier to restart! Same with steam achievements I have so many games where I'll have like some where they're nearly completed and just need 2-3 more, but I've stopped half way through collecting. I'm slowly getting better though.... slowly..... Just ask my 100% completed achievements (which is 90+) on Papa Freeziera!
Would be interesting to hear about your favourite videos that you have worked on for pbg. Love hearing a little bit of pbg lore and what it was like playing the games for the videos
I feel like your honest opinion of Star Wars from a more casual fans perspective, it really speaks without biased for the franchise. The whole Star Wars fandom is so divided these days and you summed it up so simply and accurately, quantity over quality
"how many times have i beaten these 3 (diffrent, but same) games" "At LEAST 3, If not 4-" The audible gasp i gave because i find those games to be sort of difficult, but highly interesting. (Never actually played actually 🙃) But mad props honestly for doing it 3 if not 4 times 🎉
17:28 That Pilotwings game looks like it could make for a fun hacking video; just seeing the character get launched randomly when performing such a graceful landing lmao
You introduced me to Katamari! I love that game soooo much. Amazing music, Weird cut scenes, great game play. It's a gem! Bring back the March challenge. How do you beat Skyrim? Lol.
A group of friends and I used to get together once in a while, order some pizza or fried rice, and pull and all nighter rotating through bosses in shadow of the colossus until we beat it. Great times
This is an interesting topic because, at least for me, the games I replay the most aren’t necessarily my absolute favorites. So it’s pretty fun to think about which ones I do replay most often and why. • Pokémon HeartGold & SoulSilver - Not quite my absolute favorites Pokémon games, but probably my number 2 (favorite is Platinum). HGSS just has so much to offer, including beautiful sprite work, incredibly done remixes to the classic soundtrack of Gold & Silver, and one of my favorite starter trios in the series which makes it fun to try a different one each playthrough. I probably replay these games every couple years or so, which is pretty often for me • Mega Man 2 - Probably my most played Mega Man game in the franchise, just slightly above Mega Man X. It shouldn’t be my most played one because I really suck at it. I’m much better at 5 and 6, and I might even prefer those over 2 for their gameplay and mechanics. But the soundtrack in 2 is just absolutely perfection, being among my favorite video game OST’s • Road Rash - The original for the Sega Genesis. Now that is one of my all time favorite games. It was probably the first actual video game I ever played, since I played it with my dad every day after coming home from preschool. You’d think after over 20 years of playing a game, you’d get pretty good at it, right? No, I’m really awful at Road Rash, too… But I still love everything about it, with a very special mention to that soundtrack. Man, the songs in that game, though few they may be, are burned into my eardrums for life! • Skyrim - I mean what am I supposed to say here? It’s Skyrim. I think everyone who’s ever played it has at least 1000 hours logged on the game. And even as much as I’ve played it over the past 10 years, I only finished the main story for the first time this year. Every other time I’ve started the game, I got sidetracked by some random quest or just by finding a dungeon to explore along the road. I know that’s not uncommon, but it’s why I revisit Skyrim so often: I can just get lost in its world • The Legend of Zelda - I had to really think about which Zelda game I replay the most. It could’ve been Ocarina, which is my favorite and I’ve definitely 100%’d the most. Maybe Wind Waker, where I’m continually drawn back in by the cute art style. Or Breath of the Wild, which has endless hours of content and a massive world to explore like Skyrim. But no. I know I replay the original the most. There’s something that’s still so cool to me about starting in the middle of nowhere with nothing, and being able to build up to a powerful knight capable of slaying dragons, vanquishing the Beast Ganon, and saving the Princess. I don’t mind the blocky graphics or the simple controls because it’s just part of the magic to me. It’s definitely not my favorite Zelda game, not even in my top 5. But it is the one I come back to the most and I do love it a lot
I like replaying certain games during certain times of the year. I replay either persona 3, 4, or 5 every spring, the batman arkham trilogy every fall, and either cyberpunk, mass effect, or skyrim every winter. I associate all of those games with those seasons for some reason and playing them then feels really cozy.
Final Fantasy 5 is probably my most replayed game. I usually replay it once or twice per year (once for the Four Job Fiesta and once for personal vibes). The game's job system makes it insanely replayable. Four Job Fiesta gives you a random set of jobs to use for the whole game and most of the party compositions are capable of beating the final boss. Just impeccably well balanced for an SNES RPG!
I think the game I've come back to the most is Super Mario 64. It was my first game, and I've beaten it many times in the almost three decades it's been out. Never gets old.
4:00 DUDE. You have no idea how punishing the whole "runey system" can be if you completely ignore them. My younger brother played frontier and got pretty far into it too but everything kinda got slowed to a halt because he never payed any attention to the runey's. It took him almost a whole season to grow turnips, because literally all the runey's died out. If they ever remake frontier the one thing I want is for them to make the runey system less punishing if you ignore them. I say all this because I love Rune Factory Frontier, one of the best Rune Factory Games for sure even with this flaw.
Thanks to the people who suggested this after the last gaming ramble video! This was the most fun one of these to make so far so I hope you guys like it!

PBG is like the internet’s fun uncle. Unhinged at times but overall fun to be around
If you ever make that rune factory frontier video omg it would make me so unbeliveably happy, like childhood healed cause someone noticed my favourite game, finally
totally get you with the runeys my mum had a whole notebook to calculate them all and it looked like hell
If I had to make a list of older games I replay to this day it would be:
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
Donkey Kong 64
Banjo Kazooie (and Tooie)
Kirby Air Ride
Kirby and the Crystal Shards
Mischief Makers
Yoshi's Island
Donkey Kong Country 2
Super Smash Bros Melee
Animal Crossing
Harvest Moon Another Wonderful Life
Billy Hatcher
and Bloodborne (Yes I'm putting that on my list now, it'll be a 10 year old game very soon and is an amazing work of art)
Between all the computers on which I’ve been able to play it, I think I’ve logged more hours into RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 than I’ve been alive
One of my favourite videos from you is your "Top 5 Christmas Films" video. I would love to hear your top favourite movies in general.
I really would like it if you made more gaming-centered videos. I always enjoy hearing you talk about your various gaming experiences.
PBG makes the best videos for me to watch while eating, there is nothing cozier 😊
Starfield did not instill confidence in Bethesda to make ES6 good, hopefully it’s some real innovation and a new engine
The problem is getting burnt out on doing side quests, usually the longer jrpg stuff i do that
25:42 "You don't have to make anyone come."
~ Austin Hargrave, 2024
Would be interesting to hear about your favourite videos that you have worked on for pbg. Love hearing a little bit of pbg lore and what it was like playing the games for the videos
Love your stuff, Peebs!
2:00 he says doo doo
Poopybuttgamer
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I feel like your honest opinion of Star Wars from a more casual fans perspective, it really speaks without biased for the franchise.
The whole Star Wars fandom is so divided these days and you summed it up so simply and accurately, quantity over quality
You missed super mario 64 but mario has a shotgun
YOUR LIFE IS DEPPRESIN-
That New Moon clip killed me! haha
Thank you Peebs! I also have a very bad habit of quitting right at the end game and starting over. It's good to know I'm not alone.
"how many times have i beaten these 3 (diffrent, but same) games"
"At LEAST 3, If not 4-"
The audible gasp i gave because i find those games to be sort of difficult, but highly interesting. (Never actually played actually 🙃) But mad props honestly for doing it 3 if not 4 times 🎉
17:28 That Pilotwings game looks like it could make for a fun hacking video; just seeing the character get launched randomly when performing such a graceful landing lmao
9:35 Rockstar still leaves cheat codes in their games. It’s definitely worth checking their newer titles out just for that.
Great times
19:35 The Splatoon music pairs surprisingly well with these GTA clips lol
This is an interesting topic because, at least for me, the games I replay the most aren’t necessarily my absolute favorites. So it’s pretty fun to think about which ones I do replay most often and why.
• Pokémon HeartGold & SoulSilver - Not quite my absolute favorites Pokémon games, but probably my number 2 (favorite is Platinum). HGSS just has so much to offer, including beautiful sprite work, incredibly done remixes to the classic soundtrack of Gold & Silver, and one of my favorite starter trios in the series which makes it fun to try a different one each playthrough. I probably replay these games every couple years or so, which is pretty often for me
• Mega Man 2 - Probably my most played Mega Man game in the franchise, just slightly above Mega Man X. It shouldn’t be my most played one because I really suck at it. I’m much better at 5 and 6, and I might even prefer those over 2 for their gameplay and mechanics. But the soundtrack in 2 is just absolutely perfection, being among my favorite video game OST’s
• Road Rash - The original for the Sega Genesis.
I know that’s not uncommon, but it’s why I revisit Skyrim so often: I can just get lost in its world
• The Legend of Zelda - I had to really think about which Zelda game I replay the most.
Thanks for the list!
I really like games that have alot of replayablity to them. Make me feel like i am getting my moneys worth
I am honestly amazed Peebs has so many physical PC games; Steam makes those feel like true relics of the past.
I like your life peebs, thank you for sharing certain aspects:)
RAMBLE VIDEO LETS GOOO
I feel like I have 100 games on my list that I want to play, but thanks to you, I'm throwing it all away to replay Oblivion for the 26th time lol
I think the game I've come back to the most is Super Mario 64. It was my first game, and I've beaten it many times in the almost three decades it's been out. Never gets old.
It's not just a racing game... it's a CarPG
Rhythm heaven is by far the game series I replay the most. I’ll never get tired of it.
On the elder scrolls 6:
Peebs: I really hope it’s good
Also Peebs: I’m not really getting my hopes up
😂
There's a certain vibe that comes with a boss so huge that the console starts to stutter when it comes out
Have been watching pbg for a while, just commenting to support :)
