I’ve been struggling with dryness and desolation, my spiritual life feels like it’s about to fall apart and it’s so stressful and exhausting holding it all together. Listening to these Gregorian chants and meditating on Jesus give me such peace in this difficult time, they allowed me to sleep after so many sleepless nights. Thank you Lord for these amazing men and for blessing me with everything you have given me that allowed me to come here!

No one commits themselves to a life of sacrifice without a very personal reason. This is something you do for someone else. Not for yourself. But I do believe, we're all called to do it in some way. I love Gregorian chants but I can also understand that others feel closer to God with a different kind of music. There should be space among us for both the old and the new. I don't see why our churches couldn't have a traditional service AND a modern mass at different times every Sunday.

I got married a month and a half ago. The lead-up, the planning, it was all very stressful but the morning of the ceremony I put this hymn on and played it on repeat the entire morning. All of my worries were quelled, and I felt totally at peace as I was about to enter the biggest moment of my life. And everything was wonderful :) Thank you, Brothers. Thank you, Mary. I am Prodistant and will not change, however when I hear beautiful music like this it just melts me, and for all Latin is a dead language I've still learnt little bits of it because I think it has such feeling to it. ❤❤❤.

I went for an event in Nigeria, where an Old boy of Marist Brother college was wedding. So the old boys gathered and they were to sing their school anthem. Lo and behold, they sang Salve Regina. My heart dropped in ecstacy and unexplainable feelings. I felt the inexhaustible love of our Blessed mother Mary. This song draws heaven down to earth.

Salve Regina 🕯️. It always reminds me of my late dad's favourite song. Having attended catholic school he embrace the values and tradition and never forgot until his transition. My father went to Providence College, run by the Dominicans. The four years he spent there deepened his faith and made him a better man (according to him). One of the Dominicans married my parents, and he remained a family friend for many years. When he came to spend his two weeks' vacation with us, I remember walking around the neighborhood with him----his hand holding mine. I was only six years old, but I still remember him stopping to talk to the neighbors, being invited in for coffee, having a neighborhood potluck after saying the rosary, and being a man devoted to his faith and God.

I love Gregorian chants but I can also understand that others feel closer to God with a different kind of music. There should be space among us for both the old and the new. I don't see why our churches couldn't have a traditional service AND a modern mass at different times every Sunday.

I got married a month and a half ago. The lead-up, the planning, it was all very stressful but the morning of the ceremony I put this hymn on and played it on repeat the entire morning. I went for an event in Nigeria, where an Old boy of Marist Brother college was wedding. So the old boys gathered and they were to sing their school anthem. Lo and behold, they sang Salve Regina.
My heart dropped in ecstacy and unexplainable feelings.
I felt the inexhaustible love of our Blessed mother Mary.
This song draws heaven down to earth.

My father went to Providence College, run by the Dominicans. The four years he spent there deepened his faith and made him a better man (according to him). One of the Dominicans
married my parents, and he remained a family friend for many years. When he came to spend his two weeks' vacation with us, I remember walking around the neighborhood with him----his hand holding mine. I was only six years old, but I still remember him stopping to talk to the neighbors, being invited in for coffee, having a neighborhood potluck after saying the rosary, and being a man devoted to his faith and God.
