I miss my beloved cat Dixie so much. For 15 years she greeted me every day I came home. It was so comforting. Adopt a cat. They will bring you lots of love.

Adapt, or just RESCUE! I saved two abandoned NFC's in my Neiborhood. they had been abandoned! Best thing that I've done in decades. The quiet giants of domestic cats, and yes, very fluffy.
My cat used to do that, she would run to the front door and greet me as I came home. It's beautiful when they do that.

If we don't brush him three times a week his hair gets so matted and we have to cut it!
Almost as fluffy as a Maine Coon cat. Mine jammed the central vacuum pipe.
@@johnnyfreedom3437 Not my Smokey! His hair is just like these cats, and it never mats. I brush him every day, becuz I love him beyond words! He and my [now gone] other NFC, Syd, were also TOP rated mousers.
My daughter has a Norwegian Forest cat named Bubby. Bubby allows her hoomans to live with her.

The bowls aren't empty because mama didn't fill them. there are people there recording the video. they can feed the cats at any time.
I spotted that as well! My Norwegian Forest cat will come to the back of the house to get me if his nugget bowl is empty! And at 6:00 p.m. canned food time he goes nuts if he doesn't get his dinner on time! God bless all kitties and those who love them!

When it was time for me to come home, my cat would sit by the door. If I was late, he would sit right there & cry until I got home.

I have a norvegian forest cat... She has a hammock in the window and she knows exactly when i come home. She is always in the window looking after my little car in the parling place. I think she recognise exactly the sound of me driving in... So charming and warming... They are very fluffy cats...
The mama is so loving! is that the daughter who doesn’t even pet them? it’s hilarious. I guess you can see who really loves the cats.
Cats definitely have an understanding of time even if they don’t actually know what time it is! “Mommy is about to be home and that means yummy treats are on the horizon” 🐱

Just adopted two senior cats ~ Pickles is a Norwegian Forest cat who's coming out of her shell. She's kind and so pretty. (The other is a Turkish Van. Had no idea until I took her to the vet.)

We have three cats, one of them is a Norwegian Forest Cat (male). He has his own internal time clock. Wants to eat breakfast every morning at 4:15am. Always waiting at door when we come home. He is on some meds for allergies, and knows exactly when its time to take it in the evening; he actually comes over and circles the kitchen letting us know its time for his pill. We call him our dog. He’s the least cat-like cat we’ve ever owned, but an absolute lover and gentle.
Norwegian is an early riser (lol) I'm sleepy~😂

If there are no nocturnal predators, there are rarely any problems. My NFC, Smokey, goes out from sunset to sunrise. The dogs go in, and the World is his to roam freely and to hunt. Remember, these cats can survive years in the wild, where most dogs would perish in weeks.
There is nothing unusual about this! Pretty mild reaction compared to when I come home from work. My Cat goes nuts when he see me come home everyday.

I used to do this , my bedroom was like a mini apartment on the 3rd floor and my buddy would be in the window when I walked up the street and I'd wave , then he'd be at the door on the ground floor when I opened it

Our cat just sits by his bowl when we get home.
my two norwegian forest cats are also waiting for me to come home. it is even so that the one i had first and living by my mother was waiting every day on me to visit my mother. no when i live alone with them in spain they meouw when i leave the the house. when i talk to people further in the street, they kear me and i can so well hearn them meouw, this even on a distance of half a km. they are so my very best friends.

Thank you, Richard, for the video of your beautiful kitties! Because of your video, I discovered that my kitty, "Poof," is a mixed of Norwegian Forest Cat. She is three years old, petite 5 lb. gray & white. She looks just like your cat named "Richard." I got her at the local humane society. The previous owners named her "Poof!" Her tail & body is quite "poofy!" She is a gentle sweetheart, so affectionate, loves to cuddle. I noticed she has good-sized paws compared to my other tabby-calico cat who has little petite paws. Maybe Poof will still grow more? She's just a little doll. I had lost my orange cat in February. He was 19 1/2 years old. He was originally named Theodore by previous owner. He never came to that name, so I called him "Teddy." He liked that & I called him my "Teddy bear." He was so loving & easy-going! Thanks for such a nice video! 🥰😍❤

Norwegian white Forrest’s are such wonderful cats. I had one Mattie she would greet me at the door but she could also be mad if you didn’t say hi or they won’t talk to you and they’re very very self independent which is kind of nice they’re so chill and relaxed. Miss her so much! ❤

My Maine Coon cat would run to the door crying, and I had to pick him up and hold him on my shoulder like a baby while I put things away.
they're wonderful! My Syd would run up to my car [a little Saturn] and jump on the roof and head bunt me when I came home. No better greeting in this world.
