I love cats and those I have had in my life were all exceptional personalities. One cat I had picked out from a shelter was amazingly talented. Even though I had a couple of cats then, I lost one because he had died from old age, so I was looking for another one for its companion. When I got to the shelter, I was looking at all the cats that they had there, they were all meowing, but one happened to catch my eyesight. At first when I came to his cage and petted him, he was only meowing quietly, but when I decided to look at others, and left his area, that’s when he started meowing more loudly, as if to say take me. Then I came back to take a better look at him. He started purring and somehow we connected so I decided to adopt him and take him home with me. Even though he was a young cat, I found out later he was on death row about to be euthanized. He looked like Garfield and so I named him Garfield. He even acted like Garfield, ate lasagna like Garfield, and had the attitude of Garfield. His biggest accomplishment though was turning on lights when I wasn’t around and I had to work overtime at a job I did in the day with a small newspaper establishment..(Putting a newspaper together is more work than anyone realizes it, especially with one which is small and a ad commercial driven business). Every time I would come home, I found the lights had been turned on. At first it was every time the food or water bowl was empty. Then it escalated to being turned on so he and his companion wasn’t playing or staying in the dark at night. I finally figured out what was going on and so the next thing I did was tape the light switch to keep him from switching it on. As I was taping the switch, he was watching every move I made, and looking at me with those big beautiful eyes of his…as if to say…”You caught me….Now what am I going to do?” He was one uniquely talented cat, and a personality to go with it. RIP Garfield, you are sorely missed. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🇺🇸
That is so sweet and funny. I love it when cats pick US vs the other way around. And I laughed when you said he was watching your every move as you taped the light switch. I'm sure he was trying to figure out, even then, how to undo what you were doing, lol.

It was actually good that Garfield was turning lights on after dark when you weren't there, because that way burglars would think someone is home. He really was a very smart cat! - Rest in Peace, Garfield.
I had a cat long years ago who was a genius. He was as mean as the junkyard dog towards men (I got him as a half grown kitten from a shelter; maybe he'd been abused) but he loved women. Tiger was an orange tabby, small in size but he ruled my other cats with an iron paw. He was an avid mouser/ratter (his ability to smash with those paws was astounding) and he was easy to train to a lead, to do certain tricks (always for treats; he wasn't a *dog* after all) and looked forward to walks outside on his lead to chase mice in the vacant lot by the apartment. One day I was getting ready for work, running a little late, when Tiger knocked a toy of his under a piece of furniture out of reach. He meowed for me to retrieve it for him but I had no time. "Not now, Tiger, I'll get it for you when I get home from work," I told him. He sat down and watched me head out the door. Sure enough, when I got home he ran to the door, then to where the toy had rolled under the furniture, and meowed for me to do what I'd promised. So I fished the toy out for him right away, and I was impressed with his memory and straightforward ordering me to do what I'd said I'd do. RIP Tiger, lost him years ago but I've never forgotten him and his intelligence.
petuniasevan That was a long comment you made. You loved Tiger. That last paragraph you wrote. A precious memory of him. I've experienced that loss twice. I wanted to share my own experience with two little ones that bonded with me in honor of your life with Tiger. After 2+ hours composing my first comment it was becoming too long. So a shorter comment to you and my companions. My Billy. So fond of him. Knew him from a kitten. Not a lap cat. He passed on his own terms. Girl. A black short hair stray that adopted me. She slept on my back a couple times. We were very close. She had a brain tumor. Had to be put down... I don't want to experience that pain ever again. No more cats. I think you have the same thought. But now. There is a black cat stray that keeps visiting me when I come home from work. Not for food. It's the neck scratching. She loves it. She looks so much like Girl and acts like her. I don't want to experience my heart crushed again when this one dies.

We recently had a stray cat “adopt” us as her family, lol. She started showing up, and we started feeding her and letting her come inside out of the cold, and the rest is history. She’s a sweet cat, very comfortable around humans, so it seems she had a family at one point. My daughter speculated that she might have belonged to some people in the neighborhood who just moved away. I said I didn’t know why they would leave their pet cat if that was the case, and my daughter said maybe they couldn’t afford to feed her anymore, and then I considered that they could have been moving to a place where pets weren’t allowed, but if that’s true, they didn’t have to abandon the cat. That’s not right. Anyhow, she has a human family who loves her and takes care of her now. It’s been a long time since I had a cat, and I have missed feline company so much. Before I had my human children, I had “cat children”.

My cat Biscuit 🐈 always curves his leg and paw then takes his paw and pulls my hand to his face where he proceeds to pet my hand with his head…oh yeah, he also opens doors, drops singular pieces his dry food into his water bowls, waits about ten seconds, than pulls it out and eats it (I believe he’s softening the food 🤣), can drink from a spoon (he loves almond milk 😉), and most impressively, he drinks from water bottles (that have just a little water left) using his paws to hold it at an angle to drink from. He’s a trip. 😂
One of my smartest cats fetched and returned a ball 75 times in a row! No other cat I owned has ever been able to replicate that feat! He lived to be 20 years old and I still dream about that smart orange Tabby long after his passing.

Wonderful video showing how great cats are without people shooting plastic toys at them or engaging in loud, frightening, antagonistic behaviors. As in this video, cats are smart, friendly, loving beings that respond well to appropriate stimulations, respect, and live. Good times for all here 😻
I don't have the videos to prove it, but my cat Carlo is VERY smart. He's the only cat I know of who won't bother playing with laser pointers. He chased the red dot a few times when we first showed it to him. Since then he couldn't care less. It's like, "Yeah, I've seen that thing. You can't catch it, there's really nothing there." He prefers hunting real stuff. For a while I had a window AC unit in my bedroom that wasn't well fastened on one side -- I had some cardboard taped between it and the window frame to block the opening, but it had loosened a bit so he could easily poke his paw through. Carlo used to sit in front of the AC when he heard birds outside it. There was a nest under the eaves somewhere close by, so they were often there. He'd wait, 100% motionless, and I guess watch through the little crack until a bird alighted in just the right spot. Then he'd stick his paw through the opening super fast ad grab it. That's how I ended up finding live birds flying around in my bathroom a couple of times, and another couple of times just a few feathers on the floor.
Very cute! Reminds me of my cat. I had gone shopping and bought a bag of cat treats. The phone rang as I was coming in, so I stopped to answer the phone and put the treats down on the dinning room chair which we don't use often. Weeks later, my one cat is putting on weight and I am concerned. Another day, as I walk by the door, I hear crunching sounds. He had eaten a hole through the bag and had consumed a good amount of the bag! The little sneak! He was very unhappy when his supplemental food source went away.
I had a cat like this. She'd do all kinds of crazy things... like she'd get tired of being ignored when you were on the phone, and hit the button that the receiver rests in when you hang up so the call was disconnected. (This was back in the days of oldschool landlines, with the receiver you'd pick up from the cradle.) Or she'd coil beneath the light switch in the bathroom, then make noises like she was dying so you'd rush in there in a panic and flip the light switch on to see what was wrong. The second you went to switch the light on, she'd jump up and tag you. Every time you turned around, lol... she was putting that IQ to work. Opening cabinets and drawers, finding what she wanted, and taking it. Popping out the cable to the back of the screen if she was fussed at by someone who was watching TV and wanted to tell them FU (the picture would go to snow, and she knew that). RIP Littles. You were truly the best of mews.
6:01 this is exactly what my cat does as well. We lock the front door and leave the keys in(so she can't go outside whenever she feels like it) and she figured it out that we do something with the keys, so now when she demands to go outside she reaches to the keys with her front paws and keeps nagging at it and mewing 😂 she's essentially saying "do the thing with the keys so i can go out"...
My cat was so smart at savings he put $ 40.xx down my register within the first year I had him. I used to put my Toonies, Loonies, and Quarters on top of my cabinet. He'd just pick them up and drop them in the register slot. I since stopped doing that and put my coinage in night table. I'm Canadian by the way.
The third cat playing piano was in an apartment in Kiev , Ukraine. Then war came and their platform disappered. No idea if they are safe or alive . I think of them often ❤

One of my younger cats hadn’t seen snow before...ran outside and was picking it up with both hands and throwing it. Although cats struggle to understand human language, I trained my cats to understand certain words by repeating things. Like fresh water, catfood, names, look at me... so one day my son came home sick, it was during the cats’ nap time. As they woke up they came to greet me and I told them” ‘name’ was sick, he’s upstairs, go see him.” They all stopped what they were doing and ran up the stairs to go be with him.
When my mom was still alive, she had a female cat that sometimes she used as a delivery guy. The cat's name was Mola. So the story is my older sister's house was about 200 meters from our house. My mom every now and then send her a letter that she tied onto Mola's collar. Mola delivered it to my sister's house and will be back with the reply letter. Mola went back and forth doing that for several times and my mom would reward Mola nicely after. We already had cell phone back then. But my mom said that it's funnier to send message using letter that way, it reminded her of the old days when technology wasn't advance and she often send letter to my dad who work abroad when she was younger. Now both my mom and that cat already in heaven, probably still playing together delivering letter to God and the angels.
I used to foster cats. One of them I had for a week was very intelligent. They had to be kept inside my flat for obvious reasons (because they might run away otherwise) but this cat was begging to be let out every day. He would look at me and then look at the window and point his head toward the window then look back at me, as if to say "I want to go outside", and he would do that several times, it was so weird. I literally tried to explain to him that I couldn't let him out. I sort of gestured and spoke at the same time because I wanted to communicate that fact to him. There were other things he did that were almost like a little child trying to tell me what he wanted but the window gesture was almost creepy. Lovely cat though, who, without explaining further, really loved himself.
Cats are more than smart enough to follow instructions. It's just that most of the time they don't see the point. But if they love you A LOT and things are really good between you at that moment they might sit and roll over when you tell them to.
My friend’s tabby, William, can speak English in sentences, and he has pointed told me not to record him on You Tube because, and I quote: “I don’t like fame”. He knows that if people heard him speak as well as he does he would become very famous, given how articulate he is. I have tried recording him secretly-he would look at the phone, stop using his words, and say “meow” very deliberately. Very frustrating indeed…
Cats are extremely intellectual, I know I have a tabby who is 13 years old, talks to me, plays fetch, catch, you throw small objects his way, he bats them back, we can do this for hrs, very unique cat, noticed this in him when he was 5 weeks old, he's my best friend, my four legged son, I have talked to him since he was a kitten, right from day one. I was told once Cats are amongst one of the smartest animals in the animal kingdom!
I LOVE cats. They are the smartest animals. Smarter than dogs by far. They say Dolphins are very smart too. All the cats I’ve had since I was a child understood what I said to them. They obeyed me, would take my necklace or a tshirt out of my room, down the starts and show it to whatever friend or aunt or uncle was visiting. Then I’d say “put it back in my room, you’re making a mess” and my Siamese cat would look at me, meow and in his mouth, would take my necklace or tshirt all the way to my room, going up the stairs, passing the upstairs living room, hallway, all the way to my room. Super intelligent 🩷💚😻
My cat Toby used to get tormented by crows, but when he got fed up with them he would go and do exactly the same thing to the dog! 🤣Sadly he passed away, but I think of him all the time💞
That's definitely not my case. Kyle is a sweet, precious darling, but smart... nope. I tried those tablet games with him. He just stares at the screen, then at me, then at the screen again... and tries to eat the corners of the tablet 😂
I had a cat that was taffy with White all 4 paws white as snow. Orange grey and white with a orange slice of fur down to her nose. Named Ariel this one time back when i was 14 years old she brought home a snake that was twice her size at 2 months old. Shortly after that someone stole her. She slept with me every night since she was born.

My Cat (F3 Savannah) does many of those things... They are so smart... Sometimes TOO Smart!
CATS ARE PURRFECT 🐈😽🐾
Cats are soooo hilarious 😹
❤😂 I live with a furry Albert Einstein...I respect this video 😂❤
I gatti sono animali fantastici ❤
So cute and smart!!❤
0:30, This reminds me of The Aristocats.😂❤
Son un encanto este chico con su gato y el piano
One of our cats can use the control panel to open the garage door! Yikes!!! She must have figured it out by watching my husband push the button.
My cat looooooves her tablet. She gets pissed when the battery dies and meows like a lunatic when I bring it back.
Cats aresooooo smart
I used to have a cat who knew how to open doors ! His name was Magic and yes he was a magical Cat ! ^^
I taught my cat how to fistbump in two weeks. Teaching then how to lay down and play dead rn.
😂😂😂

The third cat playing piano was in an apartment in Kiev , Ukraine. Then war came and their platform disappered. No idea if they are safe or alive . I think of them often ❤

slava russia lets hope they have gone into russia as russians and are safe from ukrainian n@zi regime
@@awex7 bullshit, putin is the fascist, as everyone knows, and it is totally evident that you are either a fascist russian toady or a bot! Your hero, putin, started this war to seize steel production, and Black Sea accesz, just like he started a war and illegally seized part of Georgia
@@awex7 AI? Bot! Totally incomprehensible, as well as completely prehensile. Suka!
Интелект животных просто поражает и достоин восхищения!!!🤩🤩🤩❤❤❤👏👏👏🤗🤗🤗
I had a cat so smart that I used to joke that I could have put him on the school bus and send him to first grade
Super smart beings
Always cute and loving videos.
고양이들이 너무 웃기고 재미 있어요.^^
very lovely cats, we love you
Kucingnya lucu dan pintar❤❤❤
Very Cute and smart cats
they really cute but 🥰are they even cat😂
You can identify the imposters by their fake mews.
Cats are more than smart enough to follow instructions. It's just that most of the time they don't see the point. But if they love you A LOT and things are really good between you at that moment they might sit and roll over when you tell them to.
Magnifiques chats!
This was so much fun! Thanks!
0:30 Plays better than me
Me too maybe kitty gives lessons 😂😂😂😊

น่ารักและฉลาดมาก
Cats are infinitely cuteฅˆ•ﻌ•ˆฅ♡*❤❤❤
Smart cats..very funny..😂
Moggies are the greatest!
My cat Toby used to get tormented by crows, but when he got fed up with them he would go and do exactly the same thing to the dog! 🤣Sadly he passed away, but I think of him all the time💞
2:07... her laugh... and then its "WIPE OUT" 🏄🏽🏄🏽🏄🏽♀🏄🏽♀🏄🏽♂🏄🏽♂🤣🤣🤣🤣
My cat will yell at anyone until they pay attention to her!!
honestly, the narration makes it almost unwatchable......
That's definitely not my case. Kyle is a sweet, precious darling, but smart... nope. I tried those tablet games with him. He just stares at the screen, then at me, then at the screen again... and tries to eat the corners of the tablet 😂
So cute!
The narration brings to mind the Festrunk brothers, the '2 wild and crazy guys' from vintage SNL
I would have really liked to have seen a cat solve a Rubik's Cube. (Thumbnail for this video. Signed-Richard.)
So smart very cute😊
Wow... Kindergarten narration. What a treat..
Such a joy to watch! Thank you!♥🥰
Adorable video
The voiceover needs to go. I have to put him on mute. Just some generic upbeat music would better. NOthing cheesy. Cats deserver better!
0:55 that is the ideal service bell to use for your car, but teach your cat to do double and triple rings --not just a single ring.
The cats are very smart. Great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful and happy cats in this long video. Great Job,🐱😸😺😻😽
Keep this cat inside at all cost he is so special
Now you going to wonder what your cats are doing in the day time my love
I had a cat that was taffy with White all 4 paws white as snow. Orange grey and white with a orange slice of fur down to her nose. Named Ariel this one time back when i was 14 years old she brought home a snake that was twice her size at 2 months old. Shortly after that someone stole her. She slept with me every night since she was born.
These are some prety awesome funny videos!!!❤😂❤😂❤😂🐱🐈🐈⬛😺😸😹😻💋💋!!!!!
Animals were sent from god,
to enjoy and love our life❤❤❤
Thank you, adorable paws!
I love your videos but please stop the voiceover!
The title should read, “When you live with a cat that has a 200 IQ.“ Thank you.
I feel sorry for a cat who has to live with a human who doesn't know that "When you live with a Cat has 200 IQ" is not a complete sentence.
05:54 why is there toilet paper next to the dining table? 😂
It's hard to tell from the end view, but it might be a roll of paper towels...? 😺💕
@kristinlong2278 Ugghhh... not a toilet paper, but kitchen paper towels!!!
Tell us about your toilet habits? Considering you think it's TP?
On second though, maybe not.
They eat where they shit
Supper smart 🐈.
❤cats ❤️ 🐈 😻
I thoroughly enjoyed this video.😂
Cats are evolving intelligence, it's slow but i see it happening.
Thanks a lot for the video!!🙏🏻❤️ I enjoyed watching!😍☺️
