Thanks for making these videos. I also have an Outback 97 and will be doing a turbo conversion so these videos have really been informative thankyou. I hope I can order that up-pipe too
@@traviscea Ok sweet. I've managed to source some STi headers and a turbo cross member so I'll be going that route. I'm probably going to wait until I can get some aluminum control arms and possibly a bushing kit before I do it though.
Steven strikes again!!! 🔥 inferno fab for the win
I don't think he makes this anyway btw ..

Would be nice seeing the work - Love the videos though mate -
Your running the 97 motor right? Did you stick with single port heads or swap them for a dual port pair?
Single port
@@traviscea awesome thanks for responding, how reliable do you think it would be with only 5-8lbs of boost
@@hobohamster1808 Very. I went to 12psi and blew the motor pretty quick. It had shitter compression to begin with though
So you're using the custom up pipe because you're running off stock N/A headers correct? And you don't have the turbo crossmember?
Yes and yes

Can you post link to where we can find the guy that makes these up pipes?
Check my previous video
@@traviscea can you post the link again
How many miles on that body? My 96 sedan has almost 300k on stock engine
Over 200k. The odometer stopped reading when I bought for I don't know how long.
never mind 😂
Damn bypassing having to fool with the cross member altogether?
Yep. This makes doing the conversion a one day job.
How long did it take from ordering the pipe, to recieving in the mail?
6 weeks. And I drove to get it, no mail.
