Anyone else love that as much as I do? The trashtalk added a whole new element to the game and the defence was superb. We can do well this year barring a major injury.
Everybody giving Lin a hard time for being sloppy out there, but they all are. It's what the training camp is all about. They'll shake off the rust, gain chemistry, learn the offensive structure, and get in better shape. Better play will follow. Even Kobe mishandled his dribble a couple times. Cut Lin some slack.
Its only the beginning. Looks like Coach Scott is really getting great effort from the team. He's going to do well as the new head coach. Kobe is looking like Kobe. Swaggy P is looking really impressive too. Hopefully Lin will come into his role and perform like he did in NY. I'm digging how the younger guys are going all out and trying to give maximum effort. The team can do some damage if they stay healthy.
These scrimmages are pretty tough, lots of defense!! Hope Swaggy is back in time and right about in shape and still shooting buckets. Take my word, this team is gonna be tough to handle this year.
In all honesty you really can't take too much out of practice other than the fact that guys are actually getting after it and understanding the game plan on DEFENSE AND OFFENSE that's what coach's are looking for.
smh jeremy lin deserves better why he always getting picked on everyone needs to improve... the reason the 2012 lakers with the hyped up trio failed miserably is because their chemistry was horrible
If ever I were to somehow pull off that move Kobe nonchalantly did at the 0:13 mark, that would be the highlight of my basketball life that I'd tirelessly bring into any conversation I had thereafter.
hahaha this is great, i love the competitive minds these guys have. lin kinda disppointed me, but he'll get better when nash teaches him. & clarkson is going to be a huge asset to this squad! cant wait!! #lakers
Late but, 3:50 is the travel I would get called for all the time in high school. Switching my feet before putting the ball down. Twice in a row in a game once, and they took me out. I didn't know wtf the ref was talking about until they showed me after the game. Definitely a travel, but when you're elite they're not watching your feet like that.
I thought the 05-06 Lakers squad was bad with Kwame Brown until Mitch put together this garbage of a team featuring Robert Sacre. Us Lakers fans definitely went through some rough times. Rip Kobe
Jordan clarkson really didn’t know what to do with kobe when he was guarding him... if you watch film kobe loves that spin off baseline jumper.... it’s obvious but JC just didn’t know what to do... i knew damn well kobe didn’t want that screen cuz he saw there was going to be help for JC once he hit that screen. JC was inching to kobe’s right hip and kobe felt the defense and spun off to the left side where there is no help D and pulled up. Well played 😌
Kobe and Jordan chose teammates on second unit. 🏀 It captured the whole idea of their mindset of enjoying a victory that came from struggling. It is also what separates them two to a player like Lebron and Magic whom always would want the best teammates on a pick up game or in an actual basketball club.
With Kobe and Nash getting towards the end of their careers, you can tell there was still a urge of competitiveness even though they struggled as a team. All the young talent together, you can tell how for some of those guys, the scrimmages was to prove that they could be a future starter or a chance to fight to stick on a 12 man roster moving forward. This is sort of proven by how Kobe was taking this serious, but also playing with a level of fun to it. I think deep down, he knew this roster wasn't made to win a championship and so he wanted to set each one of these 20 something year olds for potential success in the league after he was done.
dang kobe playing like it's not a scrim. love his competitiveness
Just like Jordan did. Both of them constantly proved they were the best. Olympics, All Star Games, practice, didn’t matter to them. They were beasts!
R.I.P. Kobe Bryant and his 13 year old daughter
tha only way
They all are though! Just look at their defense!
@@ntwalipat2play the same way in practice as you would in games. Real hoopers know, that’s how you earn pt 💯

And I bet your shot still looked pathetic compared to Kobe's lol his was literally on par with Jordans pull up baseline jumpshots
@jermaine taylor nigga who gonna make me? You? 😂😂😂
So you travel before starting your dribble too?
@Max Tomas I'm both black and white. Black enough to smack TF outta you and white enough to look like I didn't do shit 💯

2:00 classic mamba
"Don't hurt yourself fella !" Lol Kobe
Sometimes we take something like a Lakers practice for granted. I love watching the Black Mamba out there!
We don’t care that much to take if for granted wtf
Loved basketball practice. Loved competing against anyone one on the court. Especially the scrimmages.

You didn’t know him shut the hell up with that lame NPC copy paste comment
3:50 SWEET SHOT
I swear I didn't see this much intensity in any games we played this year
I'm glad Kobe is guarding Clarkson and Clarkson is guarding Kobe. It's great practice for him as he continues to develop
I guess Kobe knew from the start that Clarkson is a great one, too...

I was surprised by the intensity of practice. This is what the pro looks like.

i love scrimage footage ! :) thanks for uploading
What a chance to this player to get along with the legend especially Jordan Clarkson defending fade away shoot of mamba haha
Was literally just thinking the same thing bro Howcdon’t you take a vantage of that greatness

because he sucked at it
I miss that turn around fadeaway from the baseline that's Kobe's shot man what a beautiful thing to look at.
