That’s Empuu Vuorinen on the purple guitar. He’s a founding member and been the main guitarist for NW from day one. Troy Donockly is the other guy. Troy is the utility infielder for Nightwish. He plays: Uilleann pipes, tin whistle, low whistle, guitar, keyboards, bass guitar, bouzouki, cittern, bodhrán, and mandola. He also contributes vocals on occasion.
I love this song! And it’s not only due to the fact that it’s a kickass tune. The song is the bands way of telling the trolls and haters that their behavior is toxic and that it is futile. But there’s also a inviting line in the song that tells thrm to “turn from the hate, turn from the smoke I see the parchment of your soul, the notes, the song, join our voice”. That’s basically asking the trolls to stop being the bullies that they are and be better people. That’s how compassionate Tuomas and the rest of the band are.
The last song you hear from Nightwish is always your favorite one. A group of consumate professionals who play for the song. Enjoy the journey. It just keeps getting better and better.

It takes most people a while to connect the dots that Floor does the growling. Partly because Marko has such a nice high voice. You should check out him singing in his band Tarot. There's video from the 80s of them performing Wings Of Darkness in full hair metal mode with the hair and makeup and everything 😊

Well, Marko is a great singer, but I don't think he can do clean vocals and growl at the same time 😆 Floor isn't the only female singer who can growl. Tatiana from Jinjer is another one. And then we have Courtney LaPlante from Spiritbox and Mayu from Nemophila. I am sure there are a bunch more.
