Have had the 101's for about 18 months, absolutely love them. Handicap is 12, down from 18 since I got the 101's. 52 years old, this is the lowest handicap I've ever been and I'm well on my way to single figures, last 2 rounds have been 81 and 80 on a tough 6500 yard course. My only criticism on the presentation of Takomo irons is that they are being reviewed by low handicap players, which is a small part of the actual golfing population. You need to get mid-high handicap players out in front of your potential customers. I have been playing golf for 35 years and have played with golfers of all abilities from beginners to club pro and have never met anyone hitting a 7 iron 200 yards. My 7 is around 140 yd carry which I'm very happy with. And I'm considered a long hitter in my group of players. I play about 6 times per month and track all of my rounds with shotscope, so I have detailed data on my distances. Also have skyforger 56 and 60 wedges in the bag which I love.
Loved my 101Ts. Moved to the 201’s and they are straight fire! Fantastic forged irons that resulted in me putting away my Ping i525’s for good. When can we start getting accessories like those flat bill hats?
@@oldchannelidk5992 that makes more sense then. You always gotta think about lofts as opposed to numbers. My 7 is 30 degrees and I carry it 160 so that’s and entire club difference
Been playing mine all season (since April) I’m not saying it’s the club cuz I put the work in but was shooting 100 then and shot an 81 yesterday. Was a good day
I used to be an 8 handicap. Played Titleist TMB. After a neck fusion I’m back in the game. I want tie distance of the 101 but looks of 101T. Can the lofts of the 101T be strengthened?

Absolutely love my 101T’s. I hit them about 8-10 yards shorter than my old clubs but miles and miles more consistent. The lesser offset is great!
That’s a trade I’d make! - Tim
Can we get a picture, or a short, of the 101 and the 101t at address? Can't decide between the two

196 carry on a 7i Is insane! Guaranteed my slow as swing speed those puppies going 160 😂. Thanks for the review!
I hit my driver 250-280 and my 7 iron goes 140 💀💀
@@oldchannelidk5992jeez, what’s the loft on your 7 iron?

I have the 101t and they are for sure money!
Just ordered myself a set of 101s can’t wait for them to be delivered and be able to hit them for the first time.
Love to hear it! Let us know what you think when you hit them for the first time!

Ordered 101t’s on Monday, waited too long to purchase so I gave in! Can’t wait for them to come. Custom set usually takes how long?
Like them?
@@semicollin4517 played with them for around 3 months consistently and mannnnnn they are so pure!! 0 regret and I recommend them to all my mates
I just picked up a set of 101's. I can't wait to hit them, but this 105 degree weather here in Dallas makes me more patient.
Totally agree. Dallas is brutal right now. - Tim
Yup, played Sunday at Firewheel, Saturday at Indian Creek, brutal heat lol. Dang Texas lol.
Definitely eyeballing these clubs too
I’m hot on these Tacomo’s seriously considering putting them in the bag..after a pro fitting!
I'm considering these or the maltbys
How do you get fit for these?
I wish they offered a set GW in the 101
Please don't play a set gap😂

I’d like to know how to get that white hat, my order and my sons came with the black hat, but that white one is fire
Currently I am using Titleist 712 AP1. Any idea which one is more suitable for me? 101 or 101T?
Can you order single clubs? Such as
101T in 3-4,
301cb in 5-7,
301mb in 8-PW?
Is there a fitting centre in Australia?
I want a second set and I’m leaning toward Takomo. Does this company offer graphite shafts?
Yes to graphite
Good luck ordering them now. Back order city lol
I suppose I can't get the 101Ts in a Senior Flex and additional length with adjusted lie angle
If you click on the customize tab under the add to order button on the 101T page you will find those options there.
Do we know why the 101T's have more spin?
offset
Why are the 201’s never mentioned, demonstrated or appreciated? A ton of people are between forgiving and blades, come on now
Totally agree. There will be more 201 content! Such a great set of irons!
They’re just not as nice looking as 101/101t’s
101t come in a lefty???
Yep, you have to order them in the custom option , same price . Good luck fellow lefty
