Sorry but we have never seen a Head ski from the factory at 2 degree base . Head does a good basic ski prep with the base angle between .8 and 1 degree. Most high level racers will get skis race prepped and put the angles that they are most comfortable with on the skis. .5 .7 or 1 degree base angle.

Why is the base tune of HEad skis so "detuned", to 2 degrees, this makes the skis skid out from under skiers on hard snow? We have to send our skis out to be re-tuned even when new, out of the wrapper? Does HEad want to pay for the retuning? Posting on You Tube might allow Head to react to customers when they go in the wrong direct.

@quickskopznz The skis are excellent, we have few returns and we've been selling Head for 12 years. They must be sending the crap skis to NZ.

Reply to Quickskopznz, my opinion of the Head Skis they are some out the most durable and well made skis available. After selling approx 60 pairs this past year not one warranty issue. Fred Peak Performance Ski Shop

Ben why can't Head USA do something for the US Team Head skiers in slalom. There set up it terrible and it's not the boots because Fenninger is winning on the same product and her set up is good?
