    I gotta get a table saw I cant cut a string line every time I try to do a table or night stand my cuts are off and it dont sit right

  • @rushwingate
    @rushwingate 7 лет назад +5

    When you were cutting the notches out of the four corners, was there a reason you didnt use the bandsaw for the whole cut? Or was it just a personal preference?

    • @DIYBuilds
      @DIYBuilds  7 лет назад +2

      +Rush Wingate using the table saw for as much as possible is best as it leaves a cleaner straighter cut.

      Ok thanks. I figured there was a reason for it. Thanks for the response.

    beautiful table, love the design. what did you use to electrocute to make the paterns?

    • @trs4184
      @trs4184 2 года назад

      It's a Lichetenberg machine. Basically a neon sign or microwave transformer The ones I've seen run at about 10 kV so it's definitely the kind of thing where you want to be sure you know what you're doing so you don't toaster bath yourself.

    • @DIYBuilds
      @DIYBuilds  2 года назад

      Microwave and is around 2.4kv

    Seems like if u don't have a router table or table saw you can't do anything

    • @DIYBuilds
      @DIYBuilds  7 лет назад

      Dont need a router table just the router. That being said I would say a table saw and router and 2 very basic tools to have as a woodworker.

    • @scottroy6195
      @scottroy6195 5 лет назад +1

      Without those 2, you are basically doing it old school hand tools.

    I like the table but having 10,000 dollars worth of heavy woodworking machinery doesn't impress me at all, make one using hand tools and that I will a thumbs up for that.

      +Bill Wlo ya my tool collection is well under that. probably 3000 because I bought over many years and second hand for the big ones.
