- Went to Amsterdam for a couple of days. One of my favourite cities to visit. We got a bit carried away in the Red Light District but ate some incredible food.

I went to Amsterdam in 2014 and loved it. This video makes me wanna go back immediately, That final sandwich looked incredible.
You ticked off many Dutch favourites! Makes me want to go back for another trip.
What a lovely video I had appear randomly. You two are fun to watch and I hardly recognised Amsterdam's cuisine from when I've been there. I've been to Amsterdam quite a few times though not since around 2005/6 now, and I don't recall seeing any of the sorts of restaurants, cafe's you found, things change. That crispy bacon place looked awesome (and I rarely use that word, I'm English) and the Italian restaurant food, my favourite, looked great. Your smug face after your wife said your recipe was better was Ace! I'm not adventurous with food, but I saw much to like here which is good for me. I know the red light district maybe sounds seedy, but the vibe around there is great in any of the bars. I loved Amsterdam, but as with anywhere, I'd prefer it in spring or summer. Also, when I went, there used to be a good market every week somewhere which was good and sold new and secondhand stuff which was interesting.
I'm loving these videos and already can't wait for the next one. Keep them coming what a fantastic journey you both are on.

You missed out not going to a Dutch bakery.They have fantastic cakes and pastry in the Netherlands.A must is also a freshly made warm toffee waffle, delicious !!

Great video and content, so you're gained a follower. I travel to Amsterdam regularly and sort of fell into a set routine. I tend use the bars that sell Guinness with Bavaria being my favourite dutch beer, Excalibur ' I'm never out that bar and know the staff really well, you should have challenge the wife to a game of pool upstairs.. I'll have to break out of my comfort zone and try some new spots. I will definitely follow some of yours... y.b.y

You should visit belgium we got them best chips. If you would visit try going to Ghent it is always overlooked but it has the great nightlife, medival look, student life and food. Anyways love the video nice relaxed editing and commentary.
