An INTP Won't claim Such Dumb Theory without any Explanation. And the fact that You've to write your MBTI Type to claim your statement Valid further Proofs that you don't have good Understanding on Types.
I do all of this. It depends on the circumstances. If it's important to try to avoid as much confusion/interpretation etc as possible I can be straight to the point using only the necessary words. I can also ramble on and on losing where I started and what the point was altogether. I make up new words or idioms and likely other things I can't recall right now but I would only use them with friends or family and I would update them on my new vocabulary/whatever so that I can hopefully use it somewhere outside of my head. If I was being interviewed or something I felt was a more professional environment I would have to do my best in real time to figure out the actual answer without talking about all of the possibilities and how circumstances matter and 1 thing I know for sure is in most situations if you ask me a question I'm very likely to ask you at least 1 or more back and in a situation where I felt I couldn't I'm not going to feel comfortable with answering and I'll be thinking about that for some amount of time afterwords depending on how important I thought it was. Aaaaaanyway.
hmmm I am an INFJ but I have developed my tertiary function to the point where people would mistake me for an INTJ since I am precise with my words at times.. but when speaking philosophy and certain topics its open game for idioms /:)
Infj - If we are in a coversation, and come up with a non-liner-link to the topic - It's usually an abstract feeling of what is being said. Because when we get an idea Ti cant let it go and just have to tell everyone about it. You can trace non-liear links to everything if you're crazy enough!
About the idioms thing, I think (as an INFJ) that we just sometimes don’t have the words to explain what goes on in our heads, we are often confused by how our own selves work lol. But I do definitely agree with what you said there. INFJ can often speak in some sort of made up language that only they can decipher and it can sound like gibberish to other non-Ni types at times. Cause things just simply make sense to us but it’s hard to explain why.
Yes. My INFJ has difficulty understanding himself and there are always lot of internal conflicts that upset him and yet he doesn't know why he is upset. BTW he hates it when I analyze him. He pretends not to but he hates it. So I really does do it much or I keep it on the LD.
As INFJ I don't think I don't know how I got the Ni insight but it's hard to explain cause I can't make someone understand my experiences of what I saw before from different places, my memory, what earlier trends & patterns I've come to realize. It would take so much energy to explain those & I don't think anyone would know exactly another person's experiences or perceptions completely even if they witnessed it at the same time. I can't know about Ne but I guess they see many patterns in the moment.
Some things to ponder . . . Perception versus essence, knowing vs. "is" and conflating confidence with truth, or reality : ) I'm sorry but you keep switching abstractions based on personal internal associations of definable terms. No biggie. I appreciate all the effort to boil things down. . . When I come up against a possible truth, I stop and apply it to an opposite context, to verify or cancel it out. . . All trees are plants/all plants are trees/not all plants are trees. I define (thinking) as the threshold of abstraction, because there's no requirement that it ultimately bear out any truth, or constructive benefit. We've all done stupid things, thinking, it was a good idea at the time : ) it Can be used constructively, but the mental activity called thinking does not nescessarily, and definitively, run parallel to reality. . . . So in some of these assertions, you could apply each one to a different type to absolutely cancel it out, which would make it verifiably exclusive to that type, or function. Everybody is reading this with a different way of perceiving, and has different meanings for terms too, which adds to the kerfuffle. Some are trying to learn new things, some are trying to verify "their" thoughts mirrored back, some are trying to understand . .with a non detached observance we can see that a mental thought process is not actually verifying any objective, "out there" reality, but merely demonstrating how the mind works : ) Thanks appreciate the videos.
I can relate, though fe is inferior I am quite in touch with my feelings and it's nice!! I just let my emotions happen and try not to hide them if "socially acceptable"
Since INTPs have Ti as the lead function and it's a decider function and the Ne Si are observer functions what happens is that INTPs have a natural equalibrium with observer processing cause NeSi combine forces. Ti on the other hand is a single decider at the top and can therefore do all decisions using Ti if you arn't careful. ENTP would have a single observer Ne at the top and TiFe in the middle so they have a good equalibrium when it comes to decider functions but can get one-track on the single observer Ne function at the top.

This was a fantastic vid. I'm an infj and I find myself drawn to intps all the time 😊
The INFJ plays the hero, but is actually the villain.

We are very confident. We used figure things out out loud. Yes we do come up with things on the fly.

One must take into account INFJ's Ti subtypes (NiTi and TiSe, the former being routinely mistyped as both INT_ types).
NiTi is an INFJ type, but isn't TiSe an ISTP type?
@@sybrandwoudstra9236 The INFJ has a TiSe subtype too, it's only similar to actual ISTP on surface level.
