On that video just 2, a lexicon pcm81 vox plate preset and then a spx990 with a delay. If you are on digital then I tend to use a gated reverb for drums, guitars and any keyboards, a plate for vocals and then a slap back for a vox or a standard delay depending on the content. Always roll off the igh end on the reverbs with a lpf down to about 4k
+Ghandi Chaaban - It's an Allen & Heath GL2400 analog console. Very user friendly, good preamps, and a clean, warm sound. This model has 24 preamps, but the two stereo channels are quite flexible, allowing you to mix two stereo sources at the same time, (although you only have the single fader, but can control the individual volumes using the trim controls.) I used the 32 channel model for many years before moving to digital.
Ambassa Dor A little ambient mic would do wonders (c'mon, you know this). Live is one thing, but we are listening to the direct inputs. You can take a RODE stereo, put that into two channels, and take the direct outs into your multi track recorder.
Excellent video.
Do you send efx (Reverb, Delay) back to monitor mix? and how do you do that?
Do you guys use TRS cables for gates??
how many unit effects do you use?
