Those are the sprouted oats I use as well! Your recipe looks 😋 I load my overnight oats up with all the goodies and have been enjoying for dinner pretty much every night lately. Currently I’m adding… sprouted oats, wild frozen blueberries, almond milk, chia/flax, pumpkin seeds, hempseed butter, pumpkin purée, cacao nibs, inulin, kale, celery, lentil sprouts, cinnamon, ginger powder, stevia, and pea protein. I call it my POWER BOWL 🥣 🫐 🌱 🫘 🌰 😋
I just bought a bag of the oats and was shocked how good they smelled! Not the faintest hint of anything bad, just pure freshness. Honestly I have never seen such high quality oats
Hi John - I love how healthy this is! I make my own version using those same oats, but I’m going to try your recipe. Can you provide a link to where you get your freeze dried wild blueberries? You mentioned you buy them in bulk.
Missed the IRIE premiere John, interesting Overnight Oats Recipe, and 🤣@"it tastes like lucky charms cereal", totally believe ya John, when I make my overnight oats, one time when the milk I used was Oat milk, sweetened with 1 tbsp. maple syrup, let in the fridge and the next my oats tasted like CAKE!!!!😂🥲Thank you for sharing John, 👍and sending ya 👋greetings from Querétaro.🤠
They can be purchased in bulk at www.northbaytrading.com/freeze-dried-organic-blueberries also sold on amazon in smaller quantities (check my amazon shop, link above). It is most cost effective to buy frozen wild blueberries at trader joes and use a freeze dryer to make your own.
Costco has been selling 3lb bags of frozen wild blueberries for as long as I can remember, $9.99 per bag. Contingent upon having a membership there, of course. But for those who do, it's another source option. @@okraw
Interesting! How do we know the oats are raw? After they are sprouted, how do they get them in to the "rolled" texture? I know regular rolled oats are steamed.
First, I encourage everyone to live "beyond the label" or raw, and embrace what is really about: health. Labels can restrict you and your diet, and health in my opinion. If a person Truly wants to be 100% raw they would not eat these sprouted oats. They would buy RAW oat groats, sprout them, hull them, dehydrate them and then roll them. That would be the best way, for sure. Most people will NEVER go thru that process. I did it ONCE many years ago! That being said the sprouted oats I buy from one degree are not steamed from what I am aware, however they are "gentle oven dried". I do like they have full transparency: onedegreeorganics.com/how-sprouted-oats-are-made/ I know many raw food friends who also eat these oats and consider then "raw enough". Just as most dried fruits/veggies/spices may be dried at "too hot of a temperature" as well.
nope. I have mine shipped in or buy in LA / Bakersfield or SF and bring back with me. www.bit.ly/kefirlab to get free shipping. Apply coupon OKRAW to save 10% when you order.
This is great, but I just looked up that kefir and WOW, it has a lot of saturated fat per cup! The addition of flax and nuts bumps up the saturated fat even more. 😕
I've never heard of sprouted oats. Do they taste better, or any different? I'll have to try them. I have been eating a raw vegan diet (Dr. Brooke Goldner's protocol) for 5 months and reversed Type-1 diabetes antibodies (I have proof with a positive before test and a negative recent blood test). Isn't that amazing?! John if you want to have me as a guest on your channel about how I reversed Type-1 diabetes antibodies after 15 years of diagnoses, after eating a raw vegan diet for just 5 months, let me know; I'd be glad to spread the message about how disease reversal can occur with raw nutrition.
Looks gteat but probably a $30 bowl of oats, haha. That kefir is tok expenisve for my blood. If i could afford it i would. Maybe ill buy a bottle then use it to make my own

wow, so much money for a game, I can't afford that, I wonder who does
I've got a tip for you John add in your flax or chia seed before making your oats, that way they become activated and a "living" food!

Do sprouted oats have less phytic acid than regular oats?

Do the sprouted oats still have the bran like oat groats? I need the bran for colon
Pea protein is underrated, its very bioavailable for a plant protein
I just bought a bag of the oats and was shocked how good they smelled! Not the faintest hint of anything bad, just pure freshness. Honestly I have never seen such high quality oats
Excellent video. I will order from Kefir Labs using your link!
Sick recipe. Do you know how the omega 3/6 ratio changes when oats sprout?

I buy a bag of 2 hrs prana vegan add water oats at Costco 😊 love it!
Thanks for this information. We've been doing some soaking of oats but I really didn't know what kind to use.
Thank You For Sharing This! God Bless!❤
Loved the video John! Great work !!!
In the summer I like to ferment (cooled off) oatmeal with a probiotic. Before serving I mix in mashed banana, dried fruits, spices etc.
Those oats are the best

Quite the concoction!
I love my overnight groats. Where do you get the freeze dried blueberries?

I buy those rolled oats st Costco, my favorite. I like them with banana and raisins.
Looks amazing! Are you concerned about the saturated fat content (18g) 90% in the kefir%. Trying to lose weight

Kefir is very common in our grocery stores (made from milk) (eastern europe), about 7 brands, also some imported from neighbouring countries
Dr. Gundry says sprouted grains have much higher levels of damaging lectins. He says use regular organic oats for fermentation.

Thank you for the link; the company sure goes all out! I'm interested in experimenting with them. I miss oats so much. @okraw
They are steamed and then the gentle oven drying ? now seeing my answer and your thoughts ty also G@@okraw
I’m looking for apple peel powder that uses apple skins that haven’t been coated like in grocery store (I react to it)
Thanks Sir John ⭐️
hey john heard that oats are high in phytic acid can i get your thoughts on this please
Does the fermenting process neutralize the aflatoxins (mold)?
Because it’s already soaked and sprouted I do 2 hours with distilled water. Blueberries strawberries cinnamon. With walnuts and almonds on the side
Hi John, I also live near Las Vegas and I’m wondering, do you know of any stores here that sell the kefirlabs products?
nope. I have mine shipped in or buy in LA / Bakersfield or SF and bring back with me. www.bit.ly/kefirlab to get free shipping. Apply coupon OKRAW to save 10% when you order.
For sweetener I use a some maple syrup
What's your thoughts on the raw oat groats? Soaking them overnight and blending up next day or should they be sprouted?
Where do you get organic flaxseed?
How much will those sprouted rolled oats spike your blood sugar?
How do I find your Amazon list?
Is it really necessary to soak rolled oats? I don't like the mushy texture from soaked oats so I eat the unsoaked. Is that bad?
you can soak them less, they are more hard and not easy to chew, if you don't mind. (will take longer to eat)
Dang, that looks good!
Thats quite a good looking oatmeal breakfast, so fancy❤ Yum 😊 So Healthy !😊 i make mi e the same way 😂🎉❤
Yum, yum. 👍
you're a pro
The link for your recipe book in the bio doesn’t work :/
Thx john ✌🏻🙏🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
I Like oatssirup
Sprouts carries those oats too.

ruclips.net/video/f-ZFjL6Om6s/видео.htmlsi=LCVaVPaMPEuc8Ne2 coconut is not the same as other fats.

Pronounced Ke fear. Not keefur
No offense I couldn't pump that at all now. Love the information though.
😋
I’m so confused I thought oatmeal was bad for you? 😭
Looks gteat but probably a $30 bowl of oats, haha. That kefir is tok expenisve for my blood. If i could afford it i would. Maybe ill buy a bottle then use it to make my own
For some of us, oats, or nothing more than a bowl of hyperglycemia; thanks anyway
60 trillion bacteria wow, that's bonkers
Looks like enough calories for an entire week😢
That coconut kefir has 18 grams of saturated fat. Yikes
