- Driving around Washington DC, the capitol city of the United States of America. Highlights include downtown DC, Chinatown, Georgetown, and Arlington. I think i hit every single red light but still enjoyed the scenery 😎. One of the best times to visit is in the winter time when it snows❄. Summer travel continues. New US locations coming shortly.

Washington, D.C. is the capital city of the United States. "D.C." stands for the District of Columbia, the federal district that's coextensive with the city of Washington. The city is named after George Washington, the first President of the United States.
Washington, DC, the U.S. capital, is a compact city on the Potomac River, bordering the states of Maryland and Virginia. It’s defined by imposing neoclassical monuments and buildings - including the iconic ones that house the federal government’s 3 branches: the Capitol, White House and Supreme Court. It's also home to iconic museums and performing-arts venues such as the Kennedy Center.

Why@@xididnmr
Hell yeah queen city
I’d like to see Charlotte. I don’t know much about it, only the architectural language of the townhomes and the beach areas..
I'm from NYC, but DC actually looks really nice. Lots of trees and the buildings aren't too tall. Love it!
Great city…lived there for 8 years and was NEVER bored. Can’t wait to move back🥰
As a European (watching from Berlin, Germany) who knows the US very well it's fascinating to see how European D.C. looks, at least compared to most of the younger US cities not on the historic East Coast.
Because it was designed to mimic Paris by its creators
I heard a rumor that many Americans in the 1780's were from Europe! Do you think it's true?
@@chaosXP3RTThat’s not a rumor 💀 are you stupid??? That’s a historic fact
@@azulaquaza4916Actually, the design of Washington, D.C., Predates modern-day Paris. They both took inspiration from each other. The design of Paris we see didn't happen until the 1850s-1870s
@@azulaquaza4916I don’t know where you’re getting that😂 if you look from a Birds Eye and earth view at the two cities, they are very different. You can tell Paris is older and not zoned as finely as D.C. Paris has more alternative streets and the sections are far more divided. In Washington, all of the streets are aligned and the sections are of the same architectural arrangement and size
DC is very underrated.
No.
More Like overrated same with Alexandra and Fairfax.
What's there to do over there?? It looks boring and monotonous like most American cities. 🙄
@@Naturalintelligence30actually I like DC because of its architecture. It looks like a well kept city in terms of infrastructure maintenance. The only other cities with nice architecture is New York City, Chicago, Boston, and Charleston comes to mind.
@@C1K450 im from Miami bro Im Hispanic. Ive been to south Carolina and hated it. Too white and too racist abd slow. I've been to Los Angeles it was okay too many drugs gangs and homeless. Been to Texas too.very anti Hispanic. Don't care for it. I don't go where I'm not wanted and treated like crap. That's why I stopped wasting my time and money traveling America.
I live in VA beach and drive up here sometimes, it’s like a 3 hour drive. And I LOVE this city, it’s super underrated, I love the vibes and energy of the city and the architecture
DC is a beautiful city
reid, wow good to see you here, i trust your doing well
@@jutahi wish you can do a driving DC at night

@@jutah likewise! I trust you're doing well, too. Love the videos. Huge supporter of your channel.
DC is a great city.
Love DC from Iran.
Can't believe that DC looks like Paris or Brussels. What beautiful buildings and such big open spaces and big tree lined boulevards. Just nowhere near claustrophobic and closed in like New York. Would love to visit one day.
nyc is far more beautiful than dc or paris or any craby europen city
You definitely should visit.
Having lived in both of those cities, I agree. :>
Just one issue: Democrats.
@@Memevietnam98 all cities within the developed world are strongholds for liberal/left wing politicans and ideologies
I never imagine W DC like that it’s an Art

Washington is beautiful and prosperous
Beautiful tour in a beautiful city. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Nice city, thanks for sharing!
Very beautiful city! Congratulations for wonderful vídeo! I'm from Belém do Pará, Brasil
Clean city✨️
Its location along the Potomac River was chosen by George Washington to make his capital. It's a beautiful capital.
This so beautiful, I love that’s it’s have so many neat buildings ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful places and nice video❤👍🏻
Beautiful as always! I love the zoning and arrangement of the architecture/infrastructure!
On first few minutes it reminded me of Singapore: same light white and grey colours of building and neat rows of trees along the roads.
Washington DC is a beautiful city 👍
Capital not city
@@allstar2709It's the capital city, dumbass Washington D.C. It is a city of 700,000+ in its city proper, with over 6.3 million people in its entire metropolitan area which makes it the 6th largest metropolitan area in the Us. It has the fourth largest downtown in the US, with over 460 high-rises and almost 500k downtown jobs. It seems between 25-30 million tourists each year, and has the 3rd largest and busiest metro system in the US with 95 million riders a year; it has three major airports I can keep going on. It’s the capital city, sir

Beautiful, magnificent and fantabulous city, i must visit Washington DC in the future ❤❤
Your videos are very inspiring J! Thank you
No Navy Yard, no Columbia Heights, no NoMa, no Eastern Market, no Wharf. This video only covered a smart part of DC (Georgetown, National Mall, downtown) and left out the majority of the city.
nah fr tho, brodie went to the tourist parts 😂
No way to cover much of anything on a 2 hour video. Especially sitting to the red lights.
I've been there at least 25 times & still haven't seen half of the city
Another stunning presentation 🎉
The summer hit different in DC 😮❤🙌
nice ride I really enjoy from watch this video thanks for your videos 💗💗💗💗💗💗😍
Percurso sensacional por Washington DC - EUA, parabéns J Utah por deixar viajar virtualmente através das suas lentes e, muito obrigado meu nobre brother pelo o seu excelente vídeo.

DC my home town born and raised. Thanks for the drive brings back memories of my early life.
Good drive again.
Wow. I just bought a laptop with proper HDR - 16inch macbook pro M1. These recent videos are so much brighter it ain't funny. I was watching them on my 43 inch 4k monitor but without HDR. It is night and day.
I was there when i was 17 for my senior trip. I enjoyed the history and culture. I was always busy.
WASHINGTON DC IS A BEAUTIFUL CITY. I visited Washington DC in 2019, 2020, and 2021. I was captivated by it beautiful architecture in DC. The city is a beautiful place to visit. 😊
That's very good
Beautiful
Was there there this past Memorial Day week to perform, had a great time
Ah, in my home town J Utah; DC native here. 😊 That sure was a beautiful day. I live just north, about 2 mi of the U.S. Capitol building. I can walk there and Union Station (Amtrak) across from the Capitol building. City is developing like crazy; new developments especially downtown, east of the city, but pretty much every where. And the gentrification has happened BIG Time! I thought you were going to cross front of US Capitol and the U.S. Supreme Court building. But J Utah, you took me for a loop. You ended up all the way out there in Arlington, right past where my job was in Rosslyn, VA (Arlington). I'm like, where's he going? 😲👍🏽💯👍🏽💯
What a beautiful city. Thanks for the ride!
Very beatifuulll👍👍♥️❣️💐❤️
There's a beautiful areas in Washington DC that you can walk in peaceful
Could you tell me what's the situation with public transport in Washington DC? I only remember i heard some praises to public transport in the US when they talked about New York and Chicago. Oh, yeah, and Boston. So what's about Washington DC?
@@helenivanova5440Washington D.C. has the third largest rapid transit system in the US it’s metro system sees over 95 million riders a year. The system length is 129 miles long. It has 98 stations and 6 lines stretching into Northern Virginia and Maryland. That’s just the heavy rapid transit rail, the subway or metro, whatever you call it, but Washington D.C. has other forms of public transit too, like the DC streetcar, and commuter rail; they are connected by Amtrak, they have car-sharing options, metro buses charter and commuter buses, D.C. is connected by 3 major airports actually in fact Washington D.C. in 2023 ranks as the best US city for public transportation even above NYC and Chicago D.C. is the best city for public transit
@@helenivanova5440Washington D.C. ranks above all of those cities for public transit
@@MattNewsome28 wow! Sounds great!
Wow, never expected dc to look like that. It reminds me in some parts of european cities
It would be nice if you add a small "preview map" in the corner of the screen to have an idea where we are and which direction we go.
Good idea
Probably my favorite large US cities. Hard to show much in an hour. Sitting through lights takes time. So much more to see including all the neighborhood architecture.
If you plan to visit add at least 2 days to what you have in mind.
FYI, from 1:18:00 till the end is not DC. He crossed over into Arlington VA.
Какой же у них интересный автопарк))
You should have ended the video at 1:18:30. Because you were no longer in Washington DC lol. You was in Virginia from that point forward!
Very beautiful City ❤❤❤❤❤
Washington DC is a village within Maryland!!😁
is this some sort of no traffic holiday
Better than I thought, in my imagination it was like California.
great video
When was this filmed? I was in Washington from June 29th to July 6th and looked for myself walking around 😂. Love your videos!
J Utah, can I ask how to you plan your route when filming in a new city? Do you drive around off camera first to map your route, or do you do prep work on Google Maps before you travel?
DC my dream land
Really impressive and inspirational areas in the vicinity of the Capitol bldgs. Hope I can visit in person someday....
As a D.C. resident, thank you for sharing this 4K video. I live in upper Northwest D.C. near the Carter Barron Tennis Center near Rock Creek Park. Thank you for not showing the ghetto or bad areas in Washington, DC. However, when you went across the bridge into Arlington, Virginia, I became somewhat lost because I rarely cross the bridge going over into Virginia. I haven't been in the state of Virginia in 4 years since July 2019. I do travel into the state of Maryland (Silver Spring), Montgomery, Princes Georges, Anne Arundel Counties in Maryland.
Have you never flown out of DCA or IAD?
I Love these type of videos

Exploring Washington DC in 4K HDR must be such a vivid and detailed experience! The capital city of the United States is steeped in history and culture, with landmarks like the White House, the Capitol, and the Smithsonian museums. The beauty of these historical sites, captured in high-resolution 4K HDR, would bring out the intricate details and architectural marvels of the city. It's wonderful to think about how technology can enhance our appreciation of such iconic places, isn't it? Plus, a drive through the city allows you to see the vibrant daily life and the beautiful blend of the old and new in urban settings. Washington DC is truly a treasure trove of American heritage!
Colors look much more natural. Trees no longer look "digital" like in a video game

I didn’t saw DC like this before 😮
What Camera setup do you have
Is DC a walkable city? I’ve always wanted to visit
Washington is by far the most beautiful american city imo. I just love the lack of skyscrapers, evenly heightened buildings.
It is illegal to build anything taller than the washingont monument.
@@FRESHGARDNERi think you mean the capitol building.
The monument is 50 stories tall & the only structure taller than the capitol

How many stations are there on the Washington Metro’s Orange Line?
