    I found the sliders to open and close the vents wouldn’t lock into place, which meant
    the vents wouldn’t stay open and closed by themselves while riding. Also both sliders broke off after a week or so and I had to put screws in to open or close the vents.
    Nice looking helmet but pretty cheap and nasty build quality for the price you pay.

      I recently discovered that too… it’s a little disappointing.

    I’m going to try this buckle. In the mean time, I simply pulled the boot down closer to the edge of the D-ring. Still can’t do any of that with gloves on but I don’t have to dive for it anymore.

    Question: does the helmet comes with the wind blocker?

    • @2GunzTony
      @2GunzTony  2 года назад

      Like a chin curtain? yes. And internal vent switches

    Thanks for the vid. I hated the D-ring on this helmet and changed out to the buckle you suggested. Had to cut D-rings to get the new buckle to fit but worked out really well. Loving my Bandit now. Thanks again!

      @@manuelkpwla cut the dring off the one end and then use pliers to pull off the button

    Just ordered the cf ghost bandit and I’m researching pinlock and came across your vid. I live bout 5-7 mins from stone. I was drinking some earlier today hahah. Subb’d, ride safe 👍🏼

      Thanks for the sub! I love pinlock! It’s the truth. Definitely replace that buckle though unless you like fishing for the button for few minutes before you ride.

    Tony...I think I get what you're saying about the helmet. The little red "snap" is set WAY TOO far up in the helmet and it's a pain in the ass to get it snapped. Is that what you're referring to?
    I'm probably going to get one of the chin strap buckles you linked above.

    What did you use to remove the d rings?

    • @2GunzTony
      @2GunzTony  3 года назад +2

      I cut the d rings small bolt cutters… probably could’ve used my Dremel or tin snips… thanks for watching

      Were you able to install the buckle with the d rings on?
