That's good on you for rocking a Full-Faced helmet! IMHO, the Biltwell Lane Splitter and your Simpson Ghost Bandit look EXCELLENT! Both lids look Classic AF! Keep up the Great work, I am now happily SUBSCRIBED! Keep up the PMA!
FXDLS1990 Temp is really kind of subjective. I've been outside in the cold with -65 windchill and been relatively fine, but have also been outside, wet, and temp was high 60s and thought I was dying. If you're outside let's say in the desert and it's 120 during the day and it drops to the 75-80 at night, you're going to feel like you're freezing your ass off.
I ride in all kinds of weather but of cause not when it's snow or ice outside..I rode in -12 degrees a couple of times..The roads were dry but damn that was cold. I had to drop into every gasstation on the road to get some warm coffee to warm up hehe
Lane splitters? Isn’t it illegal in New York? When I lived in tx it was illegal I’m finally back home in Cali lane splitting is legal here. I don’t understand why certain states are against it.
Grew up playing HxC shows in and around NYC. Loved the Pyramid Club, and Nikki and Sams. And Redzone in Queens. And the Italian Social Club. Never got the chance to play CBGBs. 45 today in Philadelphia and I'm just procrastinating getting on my bike for anything.
Dude trust me, if you're planning to buy heated gloves...well just do it. It really change my life. Im ridding in North of France sometimes negative ( in celsius). It worths the money. I've a question, do you feel that the helmet IS Moving ahead at high speed ?
Trve Giibz yeah I’ve long since upgraded to heated gear, you should check out my video on it to echo what you’re saying! As for the helmet at high speeds, I’ve never noticed that 🗽⚡️
So in this, it's a Sena 20S, I know longer use this though, these days I use a Lexin FT4 Pro - if you go to their website and buy one, use discount code fxdlsbrooklyn to save some money!
Sup bro. I’m still riding to work at 5am everyday. Got the same gloves and my fingertips still get a little chilly even with glove liners. Thought about getting those hand guards to stop the wind on my fingertips. What’s your input? Riding in temps like that does it feel the handguards help your fingertips?
I asked him the same thing a while back when I was riding home at 3 AM and it was 33 degrees. The handguards are amazing and help a lot with blocking the wind and help to keep your fingers from getting the chilly numb feeling.
NFJ Bastard it definitely helps, but I'm finding it's not enough when it's below like 40. I think the combination of hand guards and heated gloves are the way to go! 🗽⚡️
CLUTCH1st nah never, I feel like that would freak me out! Thanks for checking it out man, looks like you got some helmet review videos coming our way soon 💯💯
Hi FXDLS, this definitely informed be more about both helmets. I'm leaning more on the ghost bandit because I move around S.E. Asia (more venting needed), but I have more questions on the ghost bandit. Did any water get into the rear vent of the helmet during the rain (we have some pretty nasty rain here during monsoon)? Is there an actuator to close the valve like how they have it in the front? Lastly, I'm currently in Taiwan and we don't have any shops carrying Simpson helmets so I can't test one out. I wear a size 8 hat, what size should I order? If I get my order wrong then that's 450 bucks gone. I earn with the local currency, so that will hurt even more. Thanks in advance!
SamDPilot hey dude! Nah I’ve never had an issue with water coming through. You can’t close the back vents unfortunately. As for sizing, I think you best bet to be sure is contact the company first and get their opinion on it before choosing a size. Hope this helps! 🗽⚡️
I need to do an update video on this topic - I think all this time, I should have sized down. When I run my Simpson these days, I notice that it feels noticeably loose. I would see if you can size down even if it is very snug in the beginning, and let it break in.
Sup BK... been looking at a new seat. Either the Lucky Dave's or the Saddleman. Watched Conner's vid on the comparison and realize it's pretty close on either. My question is since you had your girl on the back, how's the 2 up feel on that for her?
Alter_ Ego hey man! With the sissy bar she’s good! There’s been no complaints and that’s with city riding and long rides included! Hope that helps! 🗽⚡️
FXDLS Brooklyn - hells jeah man! I can find all kinds of reviews on the seat from a riders perspective, but not much on passenger. Thanks for the fast reply. Bike is sick man. Got a new sub! 👍
FXDLS Brooklyn what do u think of it? It seems to be the preferred choice but when I went to buy one I saw so many bad reviews on the sound quality. What do u think? I'm from Indiana there's no helmet law here, so I'm not a new rider by any means but very new to wearing a helmet 😂😂😂
Luis E. R. A. If we weren’t considering price, I would say the Simpson hands down - but if cost is a consideration, the lane splitter is a really great helmet for what you’re paying!
@@GruntHarley Check out the FirstMFG Cutlass or Vendetta, they have slots for pads and are great pieces. If you buy it off their site you can use my discount code:AC15
Brett Bowers the funny thing about it is I got the helmet when I had really long hair, when I cut all my hair off there was significantly more room in the helmet 😹
Thanks for the shoutout my dude 💍🙌🏻
Review both! Review both! That’s my vote 💯
I’m waiting for that gunmetal grey outlaw bandit to drop!
Punk and hardcore shows. Same bro. Same. Still love it.
Always great to meet someone with that commonality! 🗽⚡️

ive been debating on changing over from half helmet to full face..and your vid has made me decide on buying this helmet..thanks for the info my dude!
Midnight Cruiser all good! Happy to help!! 🗽⚡️
I'd like to see the comparison video. I'll like the Simpson but probably can only afford the lane splitter.
Thanks!
texasavage right on! Thanks for checking it out! 🗽⚡️
Great vid! Definitely more comfortable I bought the Ghost bandit now. Can’t wait to rock it when I get home!
Roman Morales Awesome dude! Let me know how it works out for you! 🗽⚡️
Thank you for riding when it’s 34 degrees. I️ just got done listening to another RUclipsr call 70 and sunny chilly..... so sad...

It was chilly. It was in the 20s when I started filming for my last video on my channel. Liked the video.

Throw come latex gloves on under your moto gloves and your hands will stay much warmer... Just my 2¢
How’s the overall wind noise? I’m coming from a biltwell lane splitter and it really is noisy
It’s definitely noisy - if you’re looking for noise reduction try the Shoei rf-1200

Hey bro, what kind of chin mount are you using for your GoPro?
Just the stock GoPro mounting, nothing crazy
non-related stupid question : what are the red gloves you guys rock we see a little in the video ?
Julien Hébert those are thrashing supply stealth gloves 🔥💯
@@FXDLSBrooklyn thx for the answer bro , appreciate.

How well does it vent in the heat? I’m in northeast Florida and I want to make sure I’m not going to be cooking in there
Hunter Bunn never had any issues with heat
FXDLS Brooklyn thanks for the reply man
Bravo!! Thank you

What brand and model are those gloves ?
What Jacket are you wearing under the vest? (The tan one)
MrJazinsky that is a Carhartt standard work jacket, size small
Riding in the cold isn't bad. We get used to it. By the time temps drop down lower everyone else is shivering and we riders are already used to it.
ever borjas right on! ❄️ 🏍💯
Thanks BK, your videos keep me riding. I love my Dyna Low Rider. It's cold up here in Massachusetts, but I'm gonna ride till the snow flies.
Jeffrey Scales right on man!! That’s the way to do it! Thanks for checking it out! 🗽⚡️
Cant you take those white logos off?
I think?
Do you have a video showing your audio setup for the gopro?
HardassThe1 nah I’ll see if I can get something like that up though, it’s nothing to complicated just a Sony lav make and some double sided tape
What kinda com system u running? Diggin this set up

jL3194 yeah it's definitely not loud enough to be annoying, I recommend it! Either go with that or the Lanesplitter
FXDLS Brooklyn nahh bro I mean the 20s sound quality! I heard such mixed reviews about the volume not being loud enough
jL3194 oh yeah dude that's for sure, it's nowhere near loud enough. Maybe they fixed that on the new model
Hi there bro, how about night ride with the mirror shield??
