I love this video. It’s what I miss most of my old Dyna LRS. That morning visceral feeling that consumes you. It makes life feel so much more real. I’m thinking of picking up some type of Harley to add to my monster KTM 1290 SAS.

There's someone primal, brutal, savage about the hunt. And face it, when we go out riding on a machine with such a gutteral howl, one is instinctually following the path that our ancestors planted in our frontal grey lobes...that focus on the track, the path, the heart racing, the eyes focused, the brain and hand working seamlessly, the kill is upon us, the family will eat and be none the wiser that the necessity of the commute , the practice, the repetition, the front wheel wobble over known obstacles, the pull down the spine from the Harley and Davidson bar napkin manifest...is something we must enjoy on such a gut level that I sometimes surprise myself on being able to touch the ground with both feet upon landing. (4th wall grammar break perhaps?)

Where did you buy your lower fairing? I checked out the one Advanblack sells and they told me the front crash bar won't work with theirs, and no way am I running my bike without some crash bars lol. Did you have to do any custom work to get everything to fit properly? Love the look of yours
Nope! These ones are from Tol Built, and one of the reasons why I chose these is because they clear the crash bar! Absolute game changer.

What top speed are you getting out of the 131? Beautiful build BTW 👍 My local dealer had 1 for sale with the 131, but after sitting on, I knew I would need to redo the bars at the very least. I think they were asking in the low $30k's. I am sure with buying the bike and build, yours was more $$. Ride Safe Brother 🙏🏻

I had just upgraded the cam, so I kept that - Besides the kit, just a proper tune on top of it

How much would it cost to have a 131 installed on a stock low rider ST?
Definitely an investment with the kit + a tune on top of it - But not nearly as expensive as dropping a crate in there, which is what I did with my Dyna build

Those are commander 3's - Great all around tire, great mileage for distance riding
@FXDLSBrooklyn that's what I thought! I use those as well. My favorite tire! Great mileage and handles pretty well in the twisties. They tend to glide and flow thru the corners VS. fast flicking, and I enjoy that kind of smoothness.
