Amen . Many times if people set a time such as they have to pray an hour, they find themselves looking at clock etc.

Right. You have to plan for your plan.
A very common-sense practical approach to a relationship with God. I know I have tended in the past to beat myself up if I didn't meet my own expectations for prayer, fasting and Bible reading. I never give up...(you can't do that) but I have felt very guilty and like a failure if I fail to meet my own goals. It makes me doubt my walk with God when I can't meet the goals I set for myself like as a Holy Ghost filled person I should have more self discipline. To make matters worse, I'm a diabetic now and I want to fast but wonder how to do it so that I don't harm myself physically. Another thing I think about is that I find myself repeating the same prayers over and over again, but then again, I can't fail to pray about those situations and people (especially lost loved ones) constantly because I feel that would be wrong also to pray once and then forget about it. I guess the important thing is to never give up and I don't but I still have these issues and I wonder if maybe it is just Satan buffeting me.
Just a Closer walk with thee.... DAILY Jesus is my plea...

Jesus was speaking of His position as Mediator between God and man, as High Priest; that is, as a MAN, CHRIST JESUS. Jesus was not referring to a separate God, He was referring to His position and title. Remember when Jesus rose again He said "All power, or AUTHORITY has been given unto me" so Jesus, as our High Priest is now seated at the right hand, or POWER AND AUTHORITY of God, the physical Christ, risen from the dead to be our advocate and mediator for our sins
