I bought one of the sheer cetaphil mineral sunscreens for my daughter. She’s getting ready to go through puberty and she’s expressing an interest in makeup. I want to emphasize skin care over makeup first with her to show her that there’s no point in wearing makeup if you aren’t going to take care of your skin first. I also got her one of the Neutrogena face washes, the ultra gentle one. I of course got her a blush and a bronzer that are extremely light and natural looking. I’m not ready for her to grow up, lol.

    Life-changing advice I’ve received from Dr.Dray:
    1. Get 7-9 hours of quality sleep every night.
    2. Lifestyle habits for the win (diet, exercise,
limited alcohol consumption and no smoke!)
    3. UV protection!!!!
    4. Skincare products should be minimal (I struggle with this one)
    5. Aging is a natural process. (Wiser>older)

Mineral sunscreens leave a cast on me, and chemical ones tend to burn my eyes and sting my skin, but I've tried the Skintegra Solar I sunscreen fluid, it is a chemical one and it is gorgeous. It doesn't irritate my skin, if it accidentally gets in my eyes it is not as painful as with other chemical filters. It is truly a gorgeous SPF. It leaves a beautiful finish, it is glowy, but not greasy. I have combination acne prone skin, and it doesn't clog my pores, but of course it is necessary to remove it the right way as all sunscreens.
