if I'm gonna be honest directv would literally glitch out ur system like a lego brick if ur like at 70% disk used, but Xfinity definitely beats them cuz at full storage it still runs good just a few lags

Both had issues. Dish had bad reception and DirecTV had issues with the early genie models.
