The grind to become a pilot is so much work nobody realized how hard it is… late nights, early mornings, blood, sweat, tears, failed tests, passed tests, check rides, studying around the clock…. Damn
That’s the reality of our profession 🙂 always being tested and held to a very high standard. At the same time the general public thinks we just push buttons and drink coffee 🤷🏼♂️ lol so it’s a thankless job but a very rewarding and unique one.
If you Google flight schools in the UK you will find your answer. You can also look into the cadet program with Ryanair, or cheaper schools like in Lithuania. Unfortunately if you want fly in the UK, you have to pass the exams twice. Once in the UK and a second time to get the EASA license (since UK is no longer part of Europe).
If any of you want to be an Airline pilot, don't GIVE UP, its Time to train hard and its your choices and actions that will chose if you have the potentiel. Are you taking on the challenge ?
Well you need to graduate high school, and USA majors require a degree. I made a video about Pilot Traits that will give you some more detailed qualities pilots must posses.
You don’t need to be book smart to be a pilot. If you have passion and dedication, you can learn anything👌🏻. Yes PPL is where you start, and check out my Learn to Fly playlist for picking a school and other helpful tips.
Just have to do a full 4 years in any college and then you can become one. Good luck my friend, it might seem expensive, but you can pay for the licenses while working. But of course, you don't get paid until you pay them. (not 0 payment but like 90% of the money you earn will go to the license)
Hopefully going to start a modular school in the uk next year when I turn 17 lots of money but it’s nowhere near the £120k integrated schools in England it’s just more than half of that though it doesn’t cover exams and Medicals etc I’ve already done a trial lesson there, I met someone working at a flight simulator that had a frozen atpl and they got it from the school he said it was great and that I should definitely go there. It’s ACS Perth for anyone wondering it seems like the best option for me. Now I just need to wait until I turn 16 so I can work and start saving as much money as I can(the rest hopefully gets covered by a loan or a scholarship) while keeping on top of highschool my parents are very supportive of my choice to be a pilot just need to make sure they don’t go as far as remortgaging the house for me I’m not making my parents pay of their mortgage for the rest of their life so I can benefit from them.

Yes there is no job security in aviation in terms of staying at one company. Companies fail, and new ones start up, but flying is flying, doesn’t matter the logo on the airplane 🙂. So for at least another 2 decades, pilots will be in demand until automation takes over our profession.
@@AviatorInspirations do you think automation will fully take over or do you think there will still always be a pilot on board? And is it even worth it to start a career in aviation rn with ai around the corner? Cheers 😁
Yes it will, but I think we are 20yrs away. So I think it’s still worth getting into the industry, as pilots will always be needed. More importantly it’s figuring out if you have the passion for flying, as this career has many hurdles and sacrifices.
I have several videos on the lifestyle in aviation. It’s not a 9-5 job. You work nights or early mornings, weekends/holidays, lots of time away from home.

The best way to know, is go to a local flight school and book a Fem flight (familiarization flight). You go up with an instructor and he might let you fly a little and you get to experience what it’s like up in the air. If afterwards you’re not hooked, then maybe being a pilot isn’t for you 😉

Ryan air doesn’t do the training in house, but works with flight schools. So on Ryan air website you can read the requirements on how to get a job as a cadet, but before that, contact each flight school for their costs. Atlantic Flight Academy shows the course fee as $88,000, and the 737 type rating is $30,000 from Airline Flight Academy. careers.ryanair.com/cadets/training-partners/
Canada is an expensive but safe country. Flight training isn’t easy to finance, so if you can get an engineering job first, that should be your first priority.
In Canada, there are no more post secondary requirements to get hired by an airline. In the US, the majors want a degree, but with the pilot shortage, I think they are being flexible. To complete the actual flight training, you don’t need any post secondary either.
Aviation is a very volatile career when it comes to recessions and layoffs, but we are also in a pilot shortage, which should last at least until 2030 in my opinion.
Although I like animation, drawing and colouring, my actual dream job is to be a pilot, not because of there pay or anything. Because their Jobe is rewarding, fun and they have amazing views. I’ve dreamt of being one this I was 6 (I’m 11 rn).
Not even close! The world is in a huge pilot shortage right now, and I’m working on an updated pilot pay video. Also check out my video of training in your 30’s (not that it really applies to you), but worth educating yourself.
Hello I am 13 I want to be a pilot but through the military which is my dream. I do like the airlines though. I play X-Plane and dcs. Depends in what I feel. But I learned how to fly departure Sids (and star arrivals) I learned all the autopilot modes. I learned how to land in crosswinds and it’s a whole lot of fun. But if the military doesn’t work out I’d be happy to do anything as pilot. God bless and thanks for posting!
In that case you should start your flight training at 14-15, and get your PPL at 17. The military won’t take you until 18 anyway, and they already want you to have your PPL for pilot selection.
@@AviatorInspirationsI live in sweden so there might be some differences in the studying to become a pilot. But you mentioned that you could start your flight training at 14-15, how do you do it?
Hahahaha I know right 😂, I made this video a while ago and just got around to posting it. Honestly this mass pilot layoff hasn’t ever happened in my recollection, so very challenging times we’re in. However, the pilot shortage is just around the corner as many people quit the profession
I want to fly but i would probaly just do GA instead. I i kind of want to be a fighter pilot but tbh it is extremely risky. so that's why i think GA would probably be better as it is safer and there is less of a risk of getting shot out of the sky, but it isn't as thrilling and exiting
Hi, i really want to becime a pilot, its been my dream since i was 6 and now i am 15 I just wanted to know whats the studying requirements and type if tests i have ti take inorder to become a pilot. Thanks
You’ve come to the right channel 🙂. Start with my Learn to Fly Playlist. Most questions about the career are there. Then start with getting your medical, and then work out a financial plan with your parents.
All you need is a high school diploma, so it doesn’t matter what subjects you take. However if you plan on attending an aviation college or other forms of post secondary, they usually need math or physics, so best to research that before grade 11
Depends what country you will do your flight training in. Countries with cadet programs are highly competitive, while in North America you have more options. You should always strive to be the best you can be, as being a pilot is not an easy job and has a lot of responsibility.
Is spending abt this much money worth it for becoming pilot .. ? Like if i not cleared the exam then the full money would be wasted or spending this much worth it that i will become pilot..??? Please answer this
@@AviatorInspirations Can I continue my studies (media and programming)Because I love computers. and my dream is to become a pilot? Can I work as a software engineer and pilot at the same time Thanks 🌷
Yes I’m sure you can find that balance, and I highly recommend you have software engineering as a backup because aviation is a highly volatile industry and you will go through a layoff or two, so having a backup income stream is very important.
I always dreamed of being a pilot, but the problem is that I am a social person and I like to spend time with my family and friends, and this things will be impossible because of the routine and pressures of working as a pilot because he spends most of his time working and outside the country, and this is the only reason that made me away from the world of aviation.
It depends on what country and airline you fly. There are domestic airlines where you are gone only 2-4days. I work for a ULCC now and I’m home everyday. So aviation has a lot of different roads you can pursue.
I have flown in Airplanes since I was a baby, and even though I'm 16, I have flown in one over 60 times. Could you make a video about the pros and cons of becoming a pilot? I'm just looking into it...

Are you planning to become a pilot?
is there a possibility of pursuing a sports career hand in hand with aviation?
i don't know about being a full on pilot; but many NFL players have pilot licenses and fly for fun
Probably not, but I’m sure anything is possible
Yes there are lots of other professions with high salaries that afford you to fly for fun 👌🏻
Hello sir , how much would the Ryan air cadet pilot program cost? I could not find in on the website

Bro that's my dream 😭 but idont have enough money 😢
None of us did. Check out my recent video on How to Finance Pilot Training
@@AviatorInspirations should i live in Canada?
I don’t know, were you born in Canada? Do you have dual citizenship somewhere?
@@AviatorInspirations No, I am from Algeria and I am currently studying engineering and I am ready to immigrate to Canada
Canada is an expensive but safe country. Flight training isn’t easy to finance, so if you can get an engineering job first, that should be your first priority.
He’s backkk....
Almost 😛
Hey can you become a pilot after getting a degree in some other subjects. I mean if i do my bachelors and then get into this?
In Canada, there are no more post secondary requirements to get hired by an airline. In the US, the majors want a degree, but with the pilot shortage, I think they are being flexible. To complete the actual flight training, you don’t need any post secondary either.
I will become an airline pilot 👩🏾✈️
Amazing, we need more women in aviation 💪🏻
Same
Excellent, when are you starting flight training?
@@AviatorInspirations I started my ground training about 4 months ago ❤️
That’s awesome! Let me know if you have any questions about anything 🙂
Is there a job security as people talk about not having secure jobs
Aviation is a very volatile career when it comes to recessions and layoffs, but we are also in a pilot shortage, which should last at least until 2030 in my opinion.
Although I like animation, drawing and colouring, my actual dream job is to be a pilot, not because of there pay or anything. Because their Jobe is rewarding, fun and they have amazing views. I’ve dreamt of being one this I was 6 (I’m 11 rn).
If you have the dream, ambition and hard work ethic, everything is attainable 💪🏻
I'm 22 yo. I'm going to start my ground training next year. Am I too old for aviaton now? I'm really worried about this.
Head to your local flight school and sign up for a familiarization flight
Job security? lol
Hahahaha I know right 😂, I made this video a while ago and just got around to posting it. Honestly this mass pilot layoff hasn’t ever happened in my recollection, so very challenging times we’re in. However, the pilot shortage is just around the corner as many people quit the profession
Pls train me
My RUclips channel is all about the pilot career 🙂 so more mind training than physically flight training
I want to fly but i would probaly just do GA instead. I i kind of want to be a fighter pilot but tbh it is extremely risky. so that's why i think GA would probably be better as it is safer and there is less of a risk of getting shot out of the sky, but it isn't as thrilling and exiting
Yes you can always get a high paying job, and just fly for fun 🙂
I am 5.9 foot and 15 year old wieght 55
Tell me that I am eligible or not ❤
Height and weight are not limiting factors in aviation
Hi, i really want to becime a pilot, its been my dream since i was 6 and now i am 15
I just wanted to know whats the studying requirements and type if tests i have ti take inorder to become a pilot. Thanks
You’ve come to the right channel 🙂. Start with my Learn to Fly Playlist. Most questions about the career are there. Then start with getting your medical, and then work out a financial plan with your parents.
@@AviatorInspirations thanks😁
The role of a pilot has a high demand so when there is shortage in the aviation industry their salary gets boosted up.
It’s definitely increasing 🚀
InshaAllah i will become a pilot one day but I dont have a lot of money.
AND I live in Bosnia😭
With dedication you will definitely succeed 💪🏻. Check out my recent video on how to pay for flight training
Sir I'm class 9 student
Do I need to take highter math main subject to be a pilot
Or I can take biology as main ❓❓❤️❤️❤️
All you need is a high school diploma, so it doesn’t matter what subjects you take. However if you plan on attending an aviation college or other forms of post secondary, they usually need math or physics, so best to research that before grade 11
@@AviatorInspirations thanks a lot sir for replaying me
❤️❤️❤️
@@AviatorInspirations sir
Do I need to be a Great student to be a pilot
Or it's ok if I'm a good but not Best 😙😙😅
Depends what country you will do your flight training in. Countries with cadet programs are highly competitive, while in North America you have more options. You should always strive to be the best you can be, as being a pilot is not an easy job and has a lot of responsibility.
I am pilot
Awesome! In what country?
Is spending abt this much money worth it for becoming pilot .. ? Like if i not cleared the exam then the full money would be wasted or spending this much worth it that i will become pilot..???
Please answer this
Watch my modular vs integrated pilot training video. I discuss both options.
Why do i want to be a pilot?
Becuase trust me bro the LAST thing that is intresting me about this magnificent proffession is the paycheck
I hear you, that’s one downside that many people are aware of 👎🏻
Hi which university you graduated
BCIT with an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Diploma

Could you please tell me how much years and money it would take
Also whats the salary

@@AviatorInspirations Can I continue my studies (media and programming)Because I love computers. and my dream is to become a pilot? Can I work as a software engineer and pilot at the same time
Thanks 🌷
Yes I’m sure you can find that balance, and I highly recommend you have software engineering as a backup because aviation is a highly volatile industry and you will go through a layoff or two, so having a backup income stream is very important.

Sir, Who earn more A experienced surgeon or a Pilot?
Probably surgeon, but way different lifestyle! Plus all depends if you are smart to get into medical school, vs anyone can go become a pilot
just wondering, did you go to a 4 year college?
No I started flying at 16, so I went the fully modular path. I have a video on the different paths you can take, if you want to check it out.
👌🏻
💪🏻
I have flown in Airplanes since I was a baby, and even though I'm 16, I have flown in one over 60 times. Could you make a video about the pros and cons of becoming a pilot? I'm just looking into it...
