  • Talking about your artwork effectively can enhance how it's perceived and understood. Talking about it ineffectively can make people less interested in your work. One of the big keys is to consider your audience. Generally speaking, you're going to be speaking to: Fellow Artists, Art Folk (Curators, Gallerists, Collectors, Etc.), or the General Public. During the podcast, we go over how to handle each type of conversation so that you're understood and of interest to your audience.

Really useful, insightful and inspiring conversation. These conversations are fundamental for building a good base from where to develop. Thank you again and keep it up ladies. You have a lot of wisdom to share.

Excellent podcast and topic!! I learned so much just listening as I tidy my studio that I think I need to play it again and take some notes. Really great conversation. Thank you! Please get well soon, Julie. (Altho the voice doesn't bother me, I wish you well and self-care is part of that wish.)

I agree that if you don't know where you are going, or where you want to go, you'll never know when or if you get there. The Kathleen Turner voice is actually OK. Just don't start adopting her affectations. 🤣
