So happy you love this series! More episodes are in production!
me too - and these one about collage is really good... tks
Yes pls!
Video like this are so important, it helps people understand why and how people create. It shows how art is such an important part of society.
Just started doing collages. As a black woman it is so good to find your video.
love the emphasis on identity...and the idea of "cutting up other art to make my own art!"
I love that she mentions playing with art in this! Play is one of the reasons why I recently became interested in art. Thank you thank you thank you for this! ❤
Amazing teaching with historical references. Please do more of these! Took notes throughout and very inspiring
@annclyde How in the world we’re you able to take notes? She was talking SO fast!
This is so informative and great. I was working on a collage piece about a year ago and kept running into technical hiccups that were hard to search or weren’t addressed in casual crafting guides. This is the perfect guide for starting fine art collage work. Can’t wait share with students!
I can relate to having technical hiccups...I have had so many! I still have pieces I am still working on years later lol I get so frustrated because I know how its supposed to look but figuring out how to get there is a different story! :)
Thank you! I have been making collages since I was a little girl! Great info!! I am working on a flower bird and butterfly collage on a wooden piece of furniture I found at thrift store :) . I spent years in bed sick "cutting out" images out of magazines ...my family thought I was crazy lol but they would bring me magazines because they could see how much I enjoyed it and I believe it helped me heal and get out of the bed after life saving heart surgery...Art saved my life if you ask me..also love and support from family and friends. Thanks again...OneLove Y'all.
Yep, art saves a lot of lives in many different ways. Completely different angle, but my sister worked at an agency called Sketch for street youth. Miraculous healing power. We should protect the arts more as a society. Glad you’re out of bed again! 👍
it is fun to look through junkyards to find items for a collage...discarded items in the streets make interesting collages, or sometimes art sculptures.
Perfection is a paralysis of what you want to explore is so powerful.
Brilliant tutorial. This was really inspiring and fun. The teacher is great. I hope we can see more content like this from her. Thank you very much.
I'm a Brazilian art educator, never been to moma but I love it! Thanks for sharing all this treasure with us! ❤❤❤
This is the first collage video I have ever watched. We do so many similar things!!!! You are so well spoken. Thank you I love what you are doing. ❤🎉
Thank you for sharing the video. As an interdisciplinary artist specializing in collage, I completely agree. Early in my artistic journey, I observed a lack of diversity in beauty within magazines. I'm pleased to note that newer publications now showcase a broader range, bringing me joy. ❤
Clear and articulate explanation! Wonderful! Perfect for anyone to learn from. Excellent for classroom introduction for a project.
Amazing art and teaching skills!!!!🎉
I’d been attracted to various arts (paper marche, painting, drawing…) but not to collage and now I’m excited to start collage. Thank you from 🇯🇵❤
I love love collage - love to see someone with that same excitement!

I love, love, love this video! I just started making collages without having any formal artistic education and this video was informative, reassuring and inspiring all at once, just what I needed! I have a question, is there any material you can put on top of the collage that protects it so that the images don't fade with time? Thank you so much! Please, more videos like this!
