I created this video top explain the process flow of the lottery process so you can understand what steps you will take, and when. I also discuss some of the emails that you will receive during the process to explain where you are in the process.
This video is a "part 1" to be watched before another video that discusses moving the interview from embassy to embassy.

This a very informative information I’ll encourage those who are pursuing dv lottery to listen careful on what brit had to say am a living example and big beneficiary of his teachings and content. I was dv 2019 and I follow everything he says until I migrated here . Even the financial and life perspective on how to be a head here I learned from one of blogs. A question, what would be the process if I am Egypt DV22 with CN AF4XXX, submitted my DS260 in September. So mainly I submitted it before bulletin declares I am current? Do have to wait for whatever higher CN submitted their DS since May till Sep so KCC would start processing mine? Would I loose my apportunity in this case for my interview?

as I researched you can edit your form by requesting KCC to unlock your DS-260 form after that you can update your form.

Hi brit I tried to fill the form yesterday on a Sunday and the form was rejecting saying the email I'd has some space in between yet there was no space in between also I tried using other I'd but same reject.also the Web page wasn't opening?
I have worries about i mispelled my passport.digits instead of Zero i put O ow is that can lead to visa refusal

Yes, just make sure the correct case number with leading zeros is entered in the subject of the email

If someone have been denied a visitor (b1/b2)visa ones but won the lottery dv2023 but due to filling the ds260 form in the form in the section were it was ask if an individual had been denied filling no but plan to correct that at the interview day would that affect my visa interview if I am being asked which the individual plan to correct at the interview day?
What happens wen the DV winner emails documents to KCC separately?

I have seen on Twitter that some winners have already scheduled interviews. What do you think? They have filled their ds very early or it's another reason they have it ?
I also have low CN 2k EU and I haven't got any info? My ds was sent in late June
current date of submission under review is 20th of may. They don't process ds on day to day basis. currently they process it with speed on day of submission per week processing. So you may expect to get dq status in best case scenario on the next spring.
also take in mind limit's of embassy capacity to schedule interviews.

Hi! I have a question. I am currently married and my spouse have a kid from her old marriage. I put 1 as a number of children in dv application is that wrong if he is a stepchild? In addition if he will not travel to the us if we got selected.. should i mention his name in the ds 260 form ?
You must list the child in the entry and DS260, however, you only create a DS260 for the derivatives that will be moving ton the USA.
It's seems to me very obvious that KCC got unofficial directives to start process ds-260 by date of submission.By this they will send less cases to emmbassies each month up until case numbers become current in spring. Hence, emmbassies will have less work to be done. KCC is fully aware about the impact of such actions to the whole process.
Is there any way to get official explanation why date submission flow was established?
I understand that it will not give any benefits, so in fact we should just forget about this lottery and leave our lives like it never happened.
That has always been that way. I have explained this over and over again.
@@BritSimon Sir, I have followed all ur suggestions and I would like to thank you for that. I also have watched most of your videos and some of them even twice ot 3 times just to understand your explanations. I respect you and all the info you provide us with. However, I believe that the biggest mistake was that you told us not to rush filling our ds260s in May which we followed and regret it really as we would have been already at least requested for our documents in case we filled the ds260 in the first few days instead of this stress that is killing us. A few days back, I saw susieQQQ in the immigration forum was pointing to a sentence by the State Gov site that I believe says "Winners should immediately fill their ds260s" something like that. You told us to be patient and if the case number is high we better wait. Now we don't know whether they will reach our cases that were submitted in July or not. I submitted mine on 13th July case number AS00011XXX and it drives me crazy seeing them processing one day per week?! which means the fiscal year would reach before reaching July's submissions. I understand that my case won't be current before April or May 2022 and I need to exercise patience :(. Next May, please sir make a video telling people to rush filling their ds260s once it is permitted to do because it will be in their favor, even if the case number is high at least he will have the relief to wait for his interview in the next summer if the region goes current.
How can you submit supporting documents before receiving instruction from KCC?

With reference to KCC processing Ds260 based on date of submission. if I unlock my Ds260 does it make me go backward in line. submitted 22 sep
It depends whether they had processed already or not.
I suppose they didn't since they're still on may 20th so it won't cause any delay right !
with such submission date objectively you will not get interview till the end of financial year.

Eligibility is based on country of birth. So yes, as long as your country is eligible.

And also the other way round, my wife as main applicant and me, as derivative, in the same DV 2023 category?

My Steps is Interview

I'm a DV21. I had never received emails #2 and 3. I only received email #1 and 4(Further DV Documents Required). Email#4 says : "Congratulations on your selection for the 2021 Diversity Visa program!
You should review the list of required documents for processing below and send those to KCC to review as part of your application package." After I received this email I sent the required documents.
