Thanks for watching our videos. We include all things to do with motorhomes, campervans, van conversions, caravans and the great outdoors. We mainly tour the UK and camp around 80 nights per year in our 2021 IH Motorhomes N-680 CRL luxury VW Crafter van conversion. We offer advice, tips and tricks, review campsites and associated products or services. We also occasionally make videos about other trips we take without the motorhome.

Well done for showing the whole crossing. I was watching another video, and it was like being teleported all over the place! 😊 Good choice of music.
Thanks Bob. I really enjoyed stopping at the viewing point 😃👍🏻🚐🚐💙 Trev
Another good and interesting video, music lovely especially going over the bridge,
Thank you 😊👍🏻🚐💙 Trev n Sue
Wow. And the train crossing too. What an experience Trev
Human Engineering never ceases to amaze me! That’s a crazy structure.
Absolutely agree. I was thinking similar things as we approached this bridge. We were so lucky it was a warm sunny day too 👍🏻😃🚐💙 Trev
Wow! The bridge is definately longer then I thought! Another addition to my bucket list with Tia!
It’s quite a toll at £47 for vans under 3.5 Tonne but my goodness it was worth it. We even enjoyed the free fresh are walking alongside and under it. Quite an experience 😃👍🏻🚐 Trev n Sue
A fabulous experience and amazing engineering. Lovely views. Thank you for another great video. Happy travels 🚙
Thank you, I am glad the video came out ok. I just felt the drive with music gave the feeling of scale and size. It was a very exciting drive at the wheel of our van 🚐 😃👍🏻 Trev
Amazing bridge! The electric train was pretty cool, too. Safe travels, my friends 👍😊💕🤗
I was loving every minute of this experience. Walking alongside and driving over this amazing 11 mile long bridge. So exciting 😃👍🏻🚐💙 Trev
Nice trip, bridge, and scenery. Great photography of the bridge ❤👍
@@NatureAndOther thank you ☺️ 👍🏻🚐💙 Trev x
Lovely to see the bridge again 😃it’s a long long time since been that way think it was around 2000 in a truck as I remember it hadn’t been open long back then 🤔
Stay Safe 😜👍🥰
It was a really exciting experience for me. I love the engineering and the scale of it. Very memorable 👍🏻😃🚐💙 Trev
Well that’s certainly a bridge 😂 definitely an experience driving over it. You can only imagine the time it has saved between the two islands. Given the distance not too pricey either. Thanks for showing us. See you next week, best wishes H&M. xx😊
@@helenandmartinsTreks The ferries must have been very restrictive to the movement of traffic in Denmark. It was great to walk under the bridge before we drove over it 😃👍🏻🚐🚐👍🏻 Trev
@@PoshcatsCamping It was the norm back in the day. Public holidays like Christmas was awful as everybody wanted to cross at the same time to be with their families. It was easier to take train as the train drives on to the ferry like the one you took to Germany.
Hi Trev/Sue, amazing video loved the music, awsome.
Conrad
@@conrad8906 Thanks Conrad, this bridge was amazing. I know just a few viewers watched to the end but I wanted to provide the whole uninterrupted experience. I should have fixed a couple more cameras on the roof 😆 glad you liked the music 👍🏻🚐💙 Trev
@PoshcatsCamping Hi Trev, no, was perfect, very relaxing to be honest, but I do find all your vlogs very calming, thanks. Keep up the awsome content you put out.
Conrad.
Wow that is a long bridge but very cool indeed. I like the speed signs, way easier to see than the ones here. xx
Road signs in Denmark were excellent. And could even understand them when they were not in English 😃🚐💙👍🏻 Trev x
I have just found your channel and so excited it’s Denmark. This is my home. I cross that bridge often -it’s like driving to the local for shopping. Looking forward to your vlogs. 🇩🇰
Thank you and we are pleased you found us. We were made so welcome in Denmark. The locals were happy to talk to us in English and we met people and had long conversations which we really enjoyed. We had fun at a cafe in Bogense and the owner was a real gentleman. We have agreed we want to return to your beautiful country and see much more. 😃👍🏻🚐💙 Trev n Sue
@@PoshcatsCamping you are welcome
Nice scenery there. What did Bob say when he found out his toll was more expensive?
@@brianinbrisbane6632 I am not sure he realised that we paid a lower charge. It was well worth it for the experience though, the views were exceptional 😄🚐🚐👍🏻 Trev
Amazing bridge. 1.6 km between the pylons.
Train go into a tunnel between Sprogø (the island in the middle) and Zealand. During construction the tunnel was flooded. Luckily no one was hurt.
Wow, this is a real success story though and the engineering is breathtaking. Love that the road and train bridges form one structure. Magnificent and memorable experience for us 😃👍🏻🚐 Trev n Sue
@@PoshcatsCamping before Great Belt Bridge, it was the Faroe Bridge, which you passed on your way to the ferry, that was the latest big construction. It was finished in 1985. The next one will be the Fehmarn tunnel. A bridge from Aarhus in Jutland to Kalundborg on Zealand over Samsoe Island, has been discussed, but it will probably be too expensive.
@@BjarneDuelundTV thank you 🙂 we loved Denmark. We have decided we will definitely return soon 👍🏻💙 Trev n Sue
Whoa! Is that an electric powered train? This may sound crazy, but I didn't even know those existed lol. That's pretty darn cool to see. Oh no. I'm not sure I would want to be underneath it. I've seen too many natural disaster tv movies where earthquakes happen and the bridges collapse. It's a bit of a fear of mine. Either under them or on them 😬It is a pretty bridge, though. 11 miles is pretty long. The longest we did was Lake Pontchartrain. It's nearly 24 miles long. Was the longest one in the states. Far as I know it still is. Nice song you chose for the drive across. It really was a pretty drive across. I would be scared as always when crossing a bridge, but I'd still drive across this one. Guess I'm a glutton for punishment 😂
We have a lot of electric trains in UK and Europe but I guess the journeys are shorter here. In the US the electric lines would be way too long. The road was huge, just like an American freeway. We could see for miles as we had a beautiful clear day. Thanks for watching 👍🏻😃🚐💙 Trev
@@HappyPlaceCamping some call it the "nightmare bridge" - but mostly visitors 😂
@@BjarneDuelundTV 😂
It's quite the thing, isn't it?
@@grapesodatravels an amazing engineering success. We just had to do it 😄👍🏻🚐🚐💙 Trev
Fun fact:
Nyborg
Ny = New
Borg = Castle
Newcastle
Thank you, we would have liked to look around the area more. We are planning a return visit in future 😃👍🏻🚐💙 Trev n Sue
