Another exclusive archive entry! The quality isn't the best, but I always find exciting seeing unreleased magnapinna footage. Don't forget to check out the description for more information about this sighting, and subscribe for more bigfin squid footage :)
hey! i'm not actually all that familiar with the topic at all, but in this highlight by the Nautilus crew, they identify the squid (the one at the end) as "maybe a bigfin." no idea if this is even a magnapinna, but it might be worth checking? (edit: on second thought, 100k views on a public youtube page means its probably been seen and not uploaded for a reason lol, ill leave the comment up just in case) ruclips.net/video/4PBGrJUzCME/видео.html
Hi there, thanks for your comment! I hadn't seen that footage before, so I really appreciate you sharing it. It doesn't look like a magnapinna to me, could be a whiplash squid (take a look at some pitcures on google and you will see the similarities).
@@MagnapinnaArchive yeah, it does look a lot more like a whiplash (actually was my first thought when watching until they said it was a bigfin!) thanks for checking :)

Magnapinna Monday baby
Love that name! Might make it a thing, and release a new video every monday (until I run out of magnapinna footage at least!)
I honestly live for these videos😍 thank you Magnapinna Archive
The way it looks at the camera with its tentacles dangling around it at 2:15 is gnarly
A truly marvelous creature
Im really curious to see how the people recording this reacted
Thanks!
very strong, very beautiful
