How To Transfer Song From iPod to iTunes Easy!!!

- A tutorial showing how to get your songs from your ipod to itunes.
Instructions:
1. Open up iTunes.
2. Plug in your iPod and be sure it doesn't start to syncronize.
3. Make sure your iPod has a check mark next to "Manually Manage Music" and "Enable Disk Use".
4. Be sure to go to Start--Computer--Organize Tab--Folder and Search Options--View Tab--Bubble in bubble next to "Show Hidden Files And Folders" and hit OK.
5. Go to Start--Computer--Your iPod(F:)--iPod Control--Music
6. Go into your Music Folder--iTunes--iTunes Music
7.Now Copy and Paste all music inside Music folder from iPod to iTunes Music folder.
8.Go into iTunes and go on top where it says File
9.Then click "Add Folder To Library"
10.Navigate to the iTunes Music Folder and click "Add Folder"
11.Now your iPod Music is in your iTunes!!!
12.Enjoy!!!!

If you don't have a iTunes folder just create one. Apart from this I had no problems! Forever grateful for this video! I went without my old school music for 3 years till I discovered this video!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! My iPod has been broken for months now and ive been constantly trying to find a way to salvage my music and you, good sir have done just that! I can't even describe how thankful i am because i have several thousand songs that I've been collecting for years and my computer's memory got screwed up a while ago so all the songs got erased from my iTunes so when my iPod broke I was devastated but you have made me one happy guy!

Thank you so much, much better than other, far more professional looking tutorials that left me high and dry......the reason I needed to do this was because the Itunes on my computer said *No burning software* when I tried to burn a disc, so I needed to get the tracks onto a back up computer, uninstall Itunes then install an earlier version, which did permit disc burning. The more these things update and upgrade the less use they are to me I have discovered.

Just done this and although alittle different for the latest iTunes April 2016 I managed to transfer all my music and I'm not IT gifted at all. Thanks for putting this video together.

Hey man im using w10 too and i can't find the Organize tab/button that was shown at around 1:40. Any clue where to find it?
Took me a while to find it. Go to "file", "change folder and search options", "view". then scroll down for the hidden folder option :)
Official KezInAVan i have W10 too. you have to go to file and click on "change folder and search options" once you click that you'll get to where hes at i the video. took me a bit to figure this part out too. ☺🙃

I think this actually worked! I just got the waterproof shuffle and couldn't get the music from my other shuffle onto itunes - it's transferring now! Thank you!

Thank you for your help. A windows 10 update went wrong and I lost all my music but I managed to get it all back from my ipod. I had about 17000 tracks, didn't realise I had so much! Anyway it still works

Still works on windows 10 in May 2017 with the latest iTunes as well! This is awesome, had a look at a fair few software options but all were paid beyond 100 files in a trial version - Thanks!
Hey I'm struggling with Windows 10 and my iPod touch. Any help with what to do after seeing the Internal Storage folder? I've already selected the show hidden folders option but I'm not able to find ipod_control.... :'(

Amazing! I was gradually losing all of my music as I was synching my iPhone to my laptop. My iPhone didn't hold as many songs. So each time I transferred I was losing songs. After a while, I figured out what was going on! This got me all of my music back!!!

This works well as of February 2016. Pro tip: Want to pull off certain albums, search author: or album: and the name and it will bring it up. Or just type album: and it brings up all the songs within their albums. Seriously, thank you. :)
