The special thing is that they are able to talk to each other using amateur radio. So the theory is that the MV is inspired by the drama: the lonely girl in the present can only contact the girls in the past through the camcorder. So it also explains why their uniform looks different.

my theory: new jeans and heesoo were a group of best friends. one day they got into a car accident and heesoo was the only one that survived, hence the cast. because of her depression and how much she misses her dead friends, she hallucinates about them and acts as if they were still alive. in side A, her putting down her umbrellla and following new jeans into the rain represents her letting her delusions consume her. in side B, instead of following new jeans into the rain, she walks away alone with her umbrella which represents her finally letting go of the past and accepting that her friends are gone. in the end, she (now an adult) is shown rewatching her cds and reminincing the good times when new jeans were still alive. also, the deer is a symbol of new jeans in the afterlife telling heesoo to let go of the past and her suvivor's guilt

And the new video tapes she first saw in the Side A MV kept showing her the reality she's in, so that's why she threw the camera in the Side B MV where everything started to make sense. AND the last video she saw was the original one where her friends (New Jeans) DID appear and is stored in a box cuz it's a part of her treasured memories and now she can see it with nostalgia cuz she came to accept her loss and is capable to move on, that's why she is seen walking with the guy at the end as he maybe helped her getting through all of the grief and denial. The deer can represent two things a non-confrontational personality (side A) that happens to be her looking at herself in the white scenario or could be an observational, empathetic, and sympathetic side of someone who could represent the guy (Side B) that's why it appeared in the school where he is always watching her with concern.
