thank you for stopping by to say hi and the kind words. we had a blast that day of shooting. good watches, good friends, good times. it's a beautiful life. have a great weekend!! D
Great vid, currently have a (2) watch collection I'm very grateful for: EX II 225670 (newest iteration) and the Sub No date 124060. Love the JLC and it's in my sites for a future dress/ formal timepiece!
Thank you for stopping by to say hello and the kind words. I do admire the nex Exp2. A bit large on me but gorgeous. No date sub is the way I'd go. Or maybe an older Sea Dweller w/out cyclops. There are so many Reverso options, hard to choose just one. Have a great weekend! Best, D
Great video... my current 4 piece: Rolex Sub (124060), Omega Speedmaster (1863), Rolex OP 41 (Dark Blue 124300) & an Tudor Black Bay 58 (OG black). It's going to be a while before I add/replace to the collection but that white dial Explorer 2 is on my radar.
Thanks for stopping by Eric! That's a pretty rad group you got. Any desire for a traditional, smaller dress watch? I figure the OP gets you thru most of the events for a dress piece. All the best, D
@@HobbyOfHours I'd love a Grand Seiko or JLC dress watch, I just don't dress up often enough to warrant one. My son got married a couple months back, and my OP and my Sub got me through rehearsal dinner and the wedding. I know purists will gag at the idea of wearing a sports watch with a suit... so I'll start caring when one of them wants to buy me an Omiwatari 😂
@@eglenn73 LOL. Grand Seiko is worth checking out for sure. Tho they will be similar wearing profile as your OP so might be redundant. have you considered Cartier? I love JLC, but with their price hikes I'm having trouble finding the one I like in the open market.
Great video brotha 👌 I really don't get the one's who worry about scratches like that with the bezel. I remember a time when guys wore their watches and were proud of the wear and wore Rolex. I don't know what happened to those days lol. My 4 Submariner 14060m, Rolex Explorer 114270z, Sinn 144stsa and Seiko Tuna Marine master
thanks brother. i think part of the reason i prefer buying used as there is likely some wear already on there. i know i tend to baby my brand new watches. crazy for sure! neeed to get a dress watch in that line up of yours! LOL I'm pondering my next video...going to be a 5 watch mandatory collection!
Hmm, The AirKing is an interesting use of the dress category. I'd have gone DD, but this collection is Hobby Of Hours approved! Thanks for stopping by, best, D
How about a 3 watch collection using only one brand but with few different collector personalities? I.e. Classic/Traditional Hypebeast/Influencer Hipster/Offbeat Etc.
Hello! I like it. I have been toying with a 3 watch model from one brand. For me, it'd be easiest with Omega and Seiko to make some nominations. Although Rolex Sub, Cellini Moonphase and the new LeMans Daytona springs to mind. Just 100k worth of watches off the bat. LOL. Have a great weekend! D
cool guys - really enjoyed your banter, perspective and obvious friendship.

That is a pretty nice collection. Thanks for sharing. I have the Tag and Omega shown here on my “watch list”.
Thank you for stopping by to say hello! I do like the simplicity of the Heuer two register. Have a great weekend! Best, D
Excellent discussion!
thanks brother! have a great holiday weekend. D

@@HobbyOfHours those recent JLC price hikes were a little shocking. I dig the Santos a lot but that's the only Cartier I find myself connecting with.
@@eglenn73 I think a Santos would be a nice addition for you. I have one of the Ronde Santos models, a GMT, love it.

Out of my watch collection... the four I would pick are:-
- Omega Speedmaster Moonphase Stainless Steel 18k Sedna Gold (9904 caliber)
- Rolex GMT Master 2 "Rootbeer" Stainless Steel 18k Rolesor Gold
- Grand Seiko SLGC001 "Tentagraph" 5 Hz Chronograph
- G-Shock MRG-B5000B-1DR "Square"
Those are some heavy hitters! Thank you for sharing with us! Cheers, D
My dream 4 Rolex watches collection would Submariner 41, Daytona, AK 126900 and GMT Sprite.
