I have lived in San Francisco for the better part of fifteen years. Senator Harris has been serving my civic interests in various ways the entire time I have lived here, and I for one couldn't give a public servant a higher recommendation for the presidency.

All Democrats sound very nice with big hearts and everything. They just have the wrong idea of how to get individuals to prosperity. This utopia they describe does not exist. They think the government should help everyone succeed. They want you to give them more money so that they can create government programs and oversight/regulation to help get you the services they think you need. This system would work if there was no corruption and/or evil in the world. No country in the world has succeeded with socialism. Larry Elder said in his documentary "Uncle Tom" that the welfare state has been more destructive to the black community than slavery ever was. Socialism and welfare state sounds great, but it is not - not for the people. In Venezuela - the Democrats are standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Trump and Bolton (with the notable exception of Tulsi Gabbard, and to lesser extents folks like Ilhan Omar, Ro Khanna and Bernie Sanders).
If the Democrats want support from the actual left - they'll need to respect the sovereignity of nations aside from our own (and the nations in our nascent Empire). As it stands - the Democratic party is hard to distinguish from the Republicans, on matters of war and peace.

Hope the Dems pick a less ambitiously punitive person. She faught as hard as she could to protect the worst aspects of our criminal justice system she was the opposite of a "progressive prosecutor" fighting to maintain convictions after it was proven evidence had been tampered with, or how about fighting to lock up parents of kids who are habitually truant which was understood to affect the working poor. She fought to uphold the death penalty, she oppossed legislation that would force the office of the AG to investigate shootings involving officers, oppossed body cameras. She made a name for herself as a state attorney by maintaing wrongful convictions many many times. But hey keeping innocent people in prison helped her career so good move right?

I have said all along that Mueller will disappoint everyone who was depending on him. He should be ashamed of himself, BUT he is a Republican, and that is why I was so certain all along. They are all dogs that stick together, regardless.
I don’t believe we would learn anything new from him, he will simply say ‘As stated in my report...’ and then repeat what is already captured in the report. He already made the case for obstruction, but because it is perceived that a sitting President cannot be indicted, and he said as much in his report, he punted the ball to Congress to follow-up, which they are doing, slowly with these subpoenas to talk to witnesses like Trump Jr. and McGahn. Despite Trump ranting about a ‘do-over’, I believe what we are seeing is actually follow-through on Mueller’s findings.
