They had an affair for several months which their family were in on and they got me into alot of debt by forging my signature on all the utility bills without me knowing before ditching me. But I've grown so much stronger because of it. I don't get pushed around anymore and my confidence is a little too much at times but the break up is what was needed I think. I'm now in a much happier relationship with someone else who has made me feel wanted the way they never did before ☺️ And thank you for sharing interest ❤️ I really appreciate that.
This is really terrible advice. My ex broke up with me after we lived together for nearly 4 years. I had to move and had nothing. I lost my job at around the same time so moving really didn't help my situation either. She realized I wasn't coming back and tried several times to reconnect. I found out later she initiated the breakup thinking I would come back. She tried to manipulate me. And she wasn't treating me well before the break-up. I gave her every chance to work things out and she chose to hurt me instead. So, I walked away and shut the door on my way out. She's engaged now and has tried to rub it in my face. I can see she's not really happy, but honestly I don't think she ever will be. Communicate and work on yourself while in a relationship if you can't do that then your not ready to have a serious long term relationship with anyone.

@Deon Soto they will use you, emotionally abuse you, try to tear your family apart, get you to the point of feeling like you're crazy, turn their family against you, cause your friends to disappear, act like a small child when they don't get their own way, run away when they don't get their way, throw tantrums about going on a day trip that you planned days or weeks ahead, say that they did everything in the relationship and you did nothing and so much more but I've worked super hard to not recall that particular relationship so remembering a lot of what happened is a mere memory that was also a huge learning experience.

I just felt so content and carefree knowing I had someone, so whenever I was out with my friends on say a night out and some of them were concerned about chatting people up (which is perfectly fine) it was so nice just knowing I was in a happy relationship and didn't have to care about trying to make an impression. I don't feel that if I'm single I have to try and get with people, but sometimes it's just subconscious to feel like you have to/want to get with someone.

Just move on. Really no point waiting for someone that doesn't want a life with you. I am in quite a pickle at the moment. I broke up with my ex girlfriend who was more committed than me in the relationship. When I met her I was still resolving some trauma from a previous toxic relationship I had come out of 2 months before we started dating. I think I broke her heart so bad that she just can't see herself trying again. She wants space and is hanging with a new guy now. I realise that the emotional attraction was lost for about 2 months and that she no longer trusts me either. I have been struggling with no contact because I have been trying to get her to re-attracted to me via text. She is obviously non responsive. Suppose I will just have to give time. Even though I have assured her that I am all in when/if we try again. Not sure what's the best strategy here...
We broke up yesterday because I said I was done with her. This was out of anger from her questioning if we are truly soulmates or not. This comes after an entire year of pandemic stress and both being out of work, constantly around one another. I gave it a couple of days, thinking that she would understand if I made her feel what I felt. But it backfired and now she doesn’t want to hear from me. She’s making me seem like I’m a terrible person, even though we got her into therapy and she was able to find some clarity. But not me. I was stuck in the same place, while she started to see how shitty I have been because of stress. I was upset because she wasn’t helping me emotionally. Because she was busy trying to help herself.. but I was always there to try and support her. In the end, she had to do it for her self. I now am realizing a lot of different things that I didn’t before. Like how badly I also needed to seek therapy to make sense of what is going on. But I grew confused and helpless so I gave in. But not for real. Except she actually thought it was for real. Now she seems to hate me. She literally said she hates me. This is coming from a place of anger, because we shared the most magical 2 years of our lives together. We were growing tired of one another because of how unhealthy life became. This break up is showing me why I love her so much and that it was on me all along, to make myself feel better. Just because she acted like it was my job to do for her, it wasn’t her job to do for me. I expected that, and it turned her against me because she couldn’t satisfy me. She also has insecurities, no matter how many times I remind her of her natural beauty. I’ve brought her closer to herself than ever, and now I’m afraid she outgrew me. If I was able to do more right now, we could be healthier. But it’s all messed up now, so I’ll post again in the future if we end up coming back together (which I’m really hoping for). Maybe this will help someone relate. There is hope if we take action. I just hope it doesn’t take too long because this really sucks.

I want to get her back, but right now, I'm on my lowest point, she's the one who broke up with me, if I want her back, I should improve my self first, love my self first, yes you guys might say "Why would you still like your ex if she left you, she does not love you anymore, she's not even there on your lowest, she talked to someone else, she left, she gave up" well, im a fool LOL just kidding. My boyfriend and I have been together 3 years. In April he told me that he felt like we’ve become friends and roommates instead of lovers. I eventually found he was hiding things. Long story short I finally got the truth out of him 2 months ago and my worst fears were true. He cheated on me with a girl he claimed was his best friend and they also work together. He said it happened some time before April. But He had been hiding that they’d been talking for months, and even lied to me about meeting up with her up until I found out. He still claims til this day it only happened once but something tells me it was more than once. In the past I was very codependent and was going through a dark time. I was always negative, upset, depressed, angry and I also never did anything to make him feel appreciated or lift him up. I sucked the life out of the relationship. I want to save this relationship but I don’t know how or if it’s even possible. Just today he mentioned me moving out again, when I asked him if he wanted to be free or stay together he said "maybe free but not to explore other women". But when we talked further he said we can stay together but me still move out to see if that will rebuild. Please help

I'm going through a hard time right now, and I really need help. A week ago on March 7th, 2019, my boyfriend (now ex) and I broke up. We dated for 7months. He's in the Marines, and we have been in long distance relationship since December 27, 2018. His last text, he basically told me that he will give me time to express how I feel when we will both have time, and that I need to work on my flaws for now. Right after the break up, he changed the Netflix account password that we were sharing, and he also changed his FaceBook status to Single. Last month, when we got in a huge fight, we took a week break. After the break, I told him that I will work harder and will get better. But I realized that it's not going to happen, unless I take some time away from him. Because I was too comfortable with him. Right now, I've been talking to my friends and family, and getting support from them. His mom has actually been helping me out a lot. My plan is, to not contact him for at least 30 days after the break up. But since I have a package I still need to send him, and he didn't let me express my feelings, I'm going to include a letter in the package and send them at around a month later the break up. Before sending him the package, I will text him and let him know, after the 30 days are over. He gave me a promise ring, and we were also planning to get married. His family was accepting me as well. I really want him back in my life, because I have been through toxic relationships, and I know for sure that this isn't. What should I do to get back with him? Please give some advice.

This is really terrible advice. My ex broke up with me after we lived together for nearly 4 years. I had to move and had nothing. I lost my job at around the same time so moving really didn't help my situation either.
She realized I wasn't coming back and tried several times to reconnect.
I found out later she initiated the breakup thinking I would come back.
She tried to manipulate me. And she wasn't treating me well before the break-up.
I gave her every chance to work things out and she chose to hurt me instead. So, I walked away and shut the door on my way out.

Reflect, take responsibility for your role, work on learning from your mistakes and grow into a better, more self loving person. I am in quite a pickle at the moment. I broke up with my ex girlfriend who was more committed than me in the relationship. When I met her I was still resolving some trauma from a previous toxic relationship I had come out of 2 months before we started dating. I think I broke her heart so bad that she just can't see herself trying again. She wants space and is hanging with a new guy now. I realise that the emotional attraction was lost for about 2 months and that she no longer trusts me either. We broke up yesterday because I said I was done with her. This was out of anger from her questioning if we are truly soulmates or not. This comes after an entire year of pandemic stress and both being out of work, constantly around one another. I now am realizing a lot of different things that I didn’t before. Like how badly I also needed to seek therapy to make sense of what is going on. But I grew confused and helpless so I gave in. But not for real. Except she actually thought it was for real. Now she seems to hate me. She literally said she hates me. This is coming from a place of anger, because we shared the most magical 2 years of our lives together. We were growing tired of one another because of how unhealthy life became. This break up is showing me why I love her so much and that it was on me all along, to make myself feel better. Just because she acted like it was my job to do for her, it wasn’t her job to do for me. I expected that, and it turned her against me because she couldn’t satisfy me. She also has insecurities, no matter how many times I remind her of her natural beauty. I’ve brought her closer to herself than ever, and now I’m afraid she outgrew me. If I was able to do more right now, we could be healthier. But it’s all messed up now, so I’ll post again in the future if we end up coming back together (which I’m really hoping for). Maybe this will help someone relate. There is hope if we take action. I just hope it doesn’t take too long because this really sucks.

My boyfriend and I have been together 3 years. In April he told me that he felt like we’ve become friends and roommates instead of lovers. I eventually found he was hiding things. I'm going through a hard time right now, and I really need help.
A week ago on March 7th, 2019, my boyfriend (now ex) and I broke up. We dated for 7months. He is truly a nice guy, he doesn't drink, smoke, do drugs, or hook up. He's not like an average guy. I'm actually technically his first girlfriend. He's in the Marines, and we have been in long distance relationship since December 27, 2018.
The reason why we broke up is because I've been stressing out looking for jobs as a student, since October 2017, before I even met him. And towards the end of the relationship, we got in a lot of huge fights, and I got mad at him for no reason. He said I lose temper easily, and I am impatient, and I need to work on myself before sharing my life with anyone else. It's hard to look for a permanent job as a student, and it's been taking a long time for me. I explained about what I have been going through to him, but I feel that this stress is not something you can understand, unless you experience it yourself.
His last text, he basically told me that he will give me time to express how I feel when we will both have time, and that I need to work on my flaws for now.
Right after the break up, he changed the Netflix account password that we were sharing, and he also changed his FaceBook status to Single. Last month, when we got in a huge fight, we took a week break. After the break, I told him that I will work harder and will get better. But I realized that it's not going to happen, unless I take some time away from him. Because I was too comfortable with him.
Right now, I've been talking to my friends and family, and getting support from them. His mom has actually been helping me out a lot.
My plan is, to not contact him for at least 30 days after the break up. But since I have a package I still need to send him, and he didn't let me express my feelings, I'm going to include a letter in the package and send them at around a month later the break up. Before sending him the package, I will text him and let him know, after the 30 days are over.
He gave me a promise ring, and we were also planning to get married. His family was accepting me as well.
I really want him back in my life, because I have been through toxic relationships, and I know for sure that this isn't.

His brother told me that since my ex has a huge heart, there is a huge chance that he might accept me again after some time has passed. It's been 10 days since we broke up. He and I haven't been talking at all. But I have already been growing as a person. I am currently so depressed about our break up 4 days ago with the love of my life!!! Brooo same with me. It has to do with distance and a few other small things with my situation. She broke things off because she would feel bad if I made so many sacrifices for her and a new life.. distance was between us But if I had moved to her then I would be too far from my own family and she didn't like that for many reasons. But I was happily working on those sacrifices anyway to be with her. She loves me a lot but doesn't want to see me disappointed or stressed... tbh, just keep working. Keep building that future and make those sacrifices.. I know I will.. even though it's a chance that I will never see her again, I'll still make those sacrifices for growth and to maybe see and experience new things that I haven't seen before :)
