Very nice visuals! :) highlighting the part of the board you want to focus and switching to similar positions from different games. I appreciate the extra effort!
They looked embarrassed. After the end, one says WTH was Na6?? Once Ivanchuck sewed up all Kasparov's pieces on the back rank and it reminded me of that. Maybe fair to say it's a feature of his playing style, making the opponents pieces bad. And yeah, Jerry should've said "look at these clowns."
Hi Jerry, I’m a longtime fan that’s been away from watching chess videos for a few years and just getting back into it. Wow, your video editing is so polished now! Keep up the great work.
I watch every video of you.. the best ever really, the explanation is just what i need and what i like, but something is new in this video... the way you recall another game and the way you spot a light on where you want to point.. that's so nice, i appreciate.
Ivanchuk probably looked at the board at one point and saw those two slow knights on the opposite side from the kings and thought to himself: "Looks like I can afford to sacrifice two pieces as long as I'm delivering check mate".
Love your videos. Been watching them for years. I actually messaged you 2 weeks ago that i was watching you live. You responded "Thanks😊" Please record more tournaments. I learned so much from your commentary and it's so soothing to fall asleep too 🤭
Your videos are the best on RUclips. You go slow and show/teach us what is going on. You don't race thru the information treating us like GMs. And, you don't talk down to us like we are children. Tricky knights for everyone.
Driving both Knights into the curb looked very dubious. And the idea of a “reverse Benoni” by itself denotes making an extra move by the side already a “move down”. Thanks Jerry.
@@ChessNetwork You are welcome! And ofc I was right, it was a treat. Ivanchuk's games are always entertaining and interesting. Btw, with that shadowed board you have included some high level graphical stuff this time. Well done! 😎
I find the benomi so fascinating. It always seems to lead to crazy sacrifices. Love Ivanchuck, the guy plays literally anything and makes it look amazing.
On move 21, instead of the knight sacrifice, I was looking at pushing G5. Anybody got any thoughts on that? My thoughts were that although the pawn could be taken, it opens up the G4 square for the queen which could complicate things quite a bit...
This comment reminds me of the bongcloud against the Scandinavian. White has a great position can simply write down a good move like Nc3 attacking the queen on d5, instead you pick Ke2 the only move blundering mate in 1.
Been really appreciating all the analysis content lately jerry! Been watching you for about 10 years now. You were and still are my chess teacher!
A decade! I must be getting old. 😎 Nice to read that Peter. 👍
Haha you and me both. Take care Jerry

Thank you Matt. 👍
respectfully, you missed a great opportunity to call those two knights on the a file "clowns"
😁

I wouldn’t be surprised if that was part of the thought process. 👍

Chucky... wow. His games are amazing.
If I’m interested in a dynamic game, Ivanchuk’s games are always candidates.
oh yeah! Thanks for another video :)
And thanks for watching Chris. 😎
great game! Thx for sharing!

Good analysis. Thanks!
awesome game and great video!
The knights deserted in a way. Haha
They are looking at each other like "not me".
I fell asleep 2 mins in and never found out how he got that cool hat
Thx Jerry, my pleasure to be first to comment on your video. And now I am gonna actually watch it. I know already it will be treat.

Thanks for the reminder. 👍

I find it funny that in such a high level game, both players decided it was a was a good idea to put both knights on the edge 😅
what a game

Hi Jerry.
Wow the queen and her rook never moved! Thats crazy
I am curious to know wtf was black thinking with those knight moves.

Yeah how dare people have political beliefs that differ from yours?! What an awful idea
