I wish all guitar teachers on RUclips would watch you before teaching others incorrectly, because you have that gift that is rarely seen in guitar players for picking out intricate parts and playing everything perfectly!! I've been watching guitar videos on RUclips for years and finally found the person I've been looking for for learning songs from!! Thanks to Tim Pierce, he sent me to you! By the way, I hold Tim in very high regard along with you!!! Thank You for doing what you're doing!!!

I was 12yrs old in '75 and that was my introduction to Steve Gadd - WOW! I'm a drummer by trade but started playing guitar as a hobby over the years and never realized the awesome "weaving" going on behind the scenes (because it was always about Gadd's KILLER groove). Thanks so much for this (and all your videos) - yeah, 50 Ways is still all about Gadd BUT I can now hear the guitar parts too!

Wow Andy!! Just awesome! This song brings back so many memories for me as a little boy. This song was on constant rotation on radio stations at the time. As a youngster, the verses sounded so sad but spooky to me....then the chorus kicks in, and it just changes the entire mood of the song with those funky lyrics that are just genius. Songwriting at it's finest, 1975. Thank you for sharing!!

This channel deserves way more subscribers!
The camera work, lesson structure, explanations during the lessons and the manner in which it's taught is like learning in a well taught and much loved virtual classroom. Really top notch quality.
Thank you very much Andy. All I had access to, (when much younger), was "Star Licks" on VHS.
Your channel has given me the inspiration to play more again, so thank you again, it's really appreciated.

Excellent! A site like Ultimate Guitar might be ok for a casual/EZ version of the song but you really get into the chords that Paul Simon uses to make his songs magical and which help set him apart from songwriter-strummers. Many thanks!

I learned never going back again (and solo), landslide (and solo), say goodbye, bron yr aur, going to California, Stephanie, and Rhiannon from you. Would you ever consider making a video on how you figure out these songs?
