As the lead design engineer for this new series I can say this was the most difficult and enjoyable series I have made so far. I really enjoy and appreciate the feedback you have given us. We are always trying to improve the product through customer feedback!
It's great to know that the designers are gathering the feedback. A few questions about the new version. Would appreciate your reply.
Is it now possible to run A/C from battery without generator on?
Is there a way to option a maxxfan instead of a skylight at the front?
Does it have a spare tire now?
Are all the windows upgraded so they can be fixed while open?
Is there a reason why bed wardrobes under beds open backwards?
I agree with you on the pantry. It definitely needs pull outs, and I prefer a cooktop inside, even if it’s just a single burner, for stormy days.
single portable electric burner, cheap and easy to store....would solve your problem
@@alanb.4660 If your only cooking for 1 person
If anyone is wondering these are about $218k on the Mercedes chassis and $175k on a Ford chassis. Very nice but definitely out of my price range.
Ford it is then lol 😂
@@ThatCigarGuy That’s all? 😵💫😂
With some improvements as mentioned a definite yes!
This is a very similar setup to our Sprinter-based 2015.5 Winnebago Itasca Navion 24V. The Flex/King Bed is huge that we have is a gamechanger. We are both tall, plus our two Huskies have to be in the bed too, so it's nice to have so much room. I do have garage and 4WD envy with this, for sure!
The Winnebago Ford version of this has a stove/cooktop and a drybath.
Would like a cooktop inside, would not use the outside sink and propane stove. Love the L shaped lounge and bedroom design. I wish it had a bunk over cab so I could bring a couple gkids. I like that there’s no slide because we’ve had lots of issues with our slides in our RV. Big garage is definitely a plus. I would keep our bikes in it so they would be safe and secure. Full body paint is great! I would consider buying it.
Not a fan of the cassette toilet. And the lack of an internal cooktop is weird.
Need an option for an interior cooktop. Even if it's just a single burner induction that you plug in and set it on the counter. It needs a pullout pantry like you mentioned JD. This is a perfect rig for a traveling couple. I like that it has a generator. I assume it's propane powered. Would be cooler if it was diesel though. I can totally see a couple of electric folding bikes in that rear garage.
I love it, except the Mercedes can't handle much weight, so you can't use the garage for much storage. I love the European windows and yaght press locks on the drawer and cabinets.
No cooktop? You should have looked in that "storage" above the frig. There you would have found a portable induction cooktop! Nice unit. I would have preferred the seating similar to the EKKO instead of the L-shaped seating.
There is an induction it is stored above fridge.
Great RV! I could definitely see a couple using that for long trips. Park anywhere and anytime. If you want to cook inside there are countertop propane burners or induction cooktops.
I love that it does not have a propane cooktop taking up space. I use an induction cook top. Store when not in use. The bed might be a challenge to find sheets. Overall it’s a great small unit.
Nice, but making the bed would be a challenge. If you are into the compact RV life it is pretty nice. Slam latch doors good storage. Well done Jayco!😊
We have a very similarly designed interior in our 2015.5 Winnebago Itasca Navion 24V. It has the Flex/King bed. While it's more difficult than a bed you can access on 3 sides, it's really not that much of a pain to make the bed. You get used to it after the first couple times. We got rid of the factor cushions and purchased a California King mattress. Much more comfortable!
I absolutely love this set up and design.
Overall, I think it would be a great weekender RV for a couple. I wish they would have included a cook top on the inside for those days when the weather may be less than ideal. I also agree that a slide out pantry would have been appreciated. I'm not a fan of wet-baths, but I understand that in a unit this small, it is almost a necessity. All of my "critiques" wouldn't be a deal breaker, but it certainly does limit the scenarios where this would be my first choice for an RV.
I really like this unit and the layout is awesome. Would make a great travel vehicle back and forth to the rivers for weekend trips.
I absolutely love that! It would totally work for my hubs, myself and our 2 fur babies!
This is a great floor plan. Love!!
This is the first time I’ve seen this, I love it!!😊
The indoor cook top can easily be a portable cooking device that would fit in a cabinet when not in use. I agree about the pantry, slide out would be much better. As long as it has Azdel and about 300 to 400 solar, it ticks off most of my requirements.
I'm pretty sure a portable plug in induction cooktop goes in that top drawer.
No on the touch panel controls. We went with Grand Design (also looked at Alliance) partially because they are (have only in Alliance's case) analog control panels. Didnt catch the cassette toilet part initially. That is a hard pass. I hated dragging the poo bucket to the bathroom when we borrowed in-law's old class B a couple times back in rhe day.
love the small garage under the bed, perfect for a couple of bikes
common in european rv's, should be more common here
1) I’d say that’s a B+ as it didn’t look like any sleeping above the cab.
2) Nice wet bath but don’t forget to remove the toilet paper so it doesn’t get wet 😂
3) Nice rear storage for a bike for sure. Not sure if you could fit skies or a kayak in it or not.
4) Would make for a nice weekend trip vehicle say to the NASCAR track or any day long event. Take a nap afterwards before driving home.
5) What is a cassette tank?
Virtually all wet baths have a built-in waterproof cover over the toilet paper...
I would actually like to see someone put 2 Mt. Bikes in that space.
the lack of cook top surface inside, deters me from this unit, should also have a dry bath.
The cook top is stored in the cupboard above the fridge.
No ceiling fan, no spare tire, no sale.
Love it but Cassette toilet is a NO GO
Looks ok, but for a guy my size it would be a tight fit to get into the bedroom
Ahhhh, I like it but it wouldn't be for me though.
What are the tank sizes (Fresh, Grey) ?
What's the payload with full water, batteries, road ready ?
There are no new cars or trucks made with V4 engines. Only motorcycles. This has an I4 engine. @4:50... Not the water heater. That's the thermostat. Temp range is 50 to 90 and it says it's 80 inside.
my dad said that we could travel in something like this
Very nice for a single person or couple. Garage storage is great! Can it tow?
Any solar/lithium?
Can the graphics/logos be deleted?
It's worth about $100K
Has replaceable propane for the outdoor kitchen and a non-removeable propane for the generator?
Both tanks are connected via auto changeover regulator
Ehhh. It’s ok. Nothing I haven’t seen before. Grand Design Lineage is nicer.
Overpriced
It's a Class C. It's on a cutaway chassis. Class B would have to be a stock van chassis and "B+" is just a Class C made to look like a Class B.
Not a class b+,it is a class C,
i wish there was a cooktop inside
For me, the lack of a small gas or electric cooktop inside is a deal killer.
@@gcslade you can buy a single electric plug in burner really cheap. I use one for cooking outside all the time.
@@alanb.4660 According to the jayco website it ships with a portable induction cooktop.
Needs a cooktop inside and the outside cooktop looks awful close to the camper like a small pot would be hard to fit on the back burner!
The outside cooktop it not extended all the way out (which is required to use it), there is a single burner induction cooktop that is stored above the refrigerator he misses.
