Angelina is 6yo here .... Born in Oslo Norway on 10th Jan. 2006. her father is Swedish, her Mother is Iranian/Japanese so she has a rich cultural background, her Iranian Grandmother is a famous Artist and Poet... and her best friend!!! She is now 17yo.

I believe she was still 6 yrs old at this recording. Angelina is a prodigy and I think she has to be the most prolific child vocalist ever. Her grandma Mery is her Rock. I hope to see her grab some grammys soon! God bless Angelina.

Even though many people say she was 6 here, there is very good evidence that she was actually 7 for this, based on the development of her upper "adult" incisor teeth. Either way, 6 or 7, it's amazing.

@@pa1189j - RUclips first put Angelina's 'Gloomy Sunday' at NGT in my sidebar after I had reviewed Melanie Safka (Lay Down) . . . . . so I watched Angelina and was mildly impressed but went on to other stuff. Several days later RUclips felt obligated to put your 'I Who Have Nothing' in the sidebar and once again I watched very young Angelina perform. THIS is the one that 'sank my boat' ! ! ! Had to go back and review 'Gloomy Sunday' along with the judges reactions and it slowly began to dawn on me that this itty bitty little girl was something special. Yes indeed. I have always thought that Angelina could easily perform on TV or in the movies. Especially so after seeing her very animated performance of “Now I’m the Fool.”
Angelina probably WILL try acting in the future (possibly her sister Juliette too), but before any of that happens, I’m putting my money on her writing and performing the next “Bond” theme.

Angelina is currently 17 years old and will turn 18 on January 10th. Make sure to let her hear Angelina's performance of My Funny Valentine when she was 16. Hi Janet! Your son is such a nice young man. Yep, Angelina is some kind of miracle. I think someone else mentioned that she's nearer 6 in this video, but singing like Sir Tom Jones! She started singing in her crib at age 18 months. I believe it was earlier the same year that she recorded this she and her family were living in the Middle East, where they have roots, and Angelina gave her own shoes to a girl she met who had none. Since then, she performs barefoot as a reminder of that life-changing event for her. James, you really should play I Put A Spell On You for your mum. Cheers, both of you!

Yeah, as others will no doubt point out, Angelina was 6 here, at a school for the arts which had a sound studio as part of the available facilities for the students. She was 7 when she auditioned for Norway's Got Talent. Angelina was born in Oslo, January 10th, 2006, so she is 17 now. She and her family currently live in California, having moved to the United States to help her pursue her career. She does now have her first EP out under the Republic Records label, and will bring out an album later. The EP is really worth checking out!!

One thing I think that we often overlook is that she is also singing in English, which I believe is the 3rd language to her, behind her Native Norwegian, 2nd is Farsi (her Grandma Mery is Persian), so just amazing.❤
Her father is Swedish and I guess that Norwegian and Swedish are her 1st and 2nd languages, then her grandmother is Iranian and her grandfather Japanese so she’s grown up hearing and speaking these languages since she was born. Lucky girl!💕

Very nice reaction from both of you: an incredible prodigy indeed... and unlike some prodigies she has just got better and better with age and has matured into a great musical artist... she is 17 now and recently released an EP of her original songs which are very impressive I think (the music, the singing and the lyrics - she is a brilliant lyric writer which wasn't a "given" )

Well she didn't win American Got Talent, but here she is 6 instead 7.
The very first time I saw this video, about 7 years ago, it was captioned as her being 6 years old. Some have said that they "looked closely at her teeth" and decided she had to be 7. Just as with the claim of her demo at 10 not being released because her parents didn't like a reference to suicide, neither claim can be backed with any proof. I will continue to say she is 6 in this video until something definite to prove otherwise is shown. Other than that, great reaction. I loved the look of surprise on Mum's face throughout the video. You need to include her in other Angelina videos. 👍👍
Janet, Madam, Miss Angelina practices her craft daily since she is around 3,5 years old. For technical advice she visits the academies of Oslo since age 4, and LA since age 12.
She naturally went to normal school as well. This summer she finished high school in LA a year early like the very bright being she is.

As far as I know, Angelina was only 6 in this clip, Probably barely 7, but still too young to be accepted into the NGT competition she had been pestering her mother to enter her into for a while. She eventually became old enough, entered the competition and the rest is history.
Other than Angelina’s astonishing vocal performance, it bears mentioning that she is first and foremost a six year old Norwegian citizen, singing and reading the adult level lyrics, in English.

There's always been a lot of controversy about Angelina's age in this video. I always thought she was six as many of you do. However, Rusty Shackelford, administrator of several of the fan clubs, is an expert on everything Angelina! He informed me about a year ago that she had just turned seven in this video. Not that it matters much, but just for clarification.
