What’s your thought on the 20” condor for $500? I was eyeing this because I was wanting a bike with pegs and both brakes. Probably gonna attempt more flatland. Just getting back into it after 20 years I was gonna just build but didn’t want to throw down a grand just yet…
I’ve actually considered getting a purple 20” condor. I have the big daddy frame and the retro condors in both blue and chrome. I’ve Meet and had a chance to hang with Mat a few times. Such a cool dude and icon to the sport. Good comparison with the Kinks but for me personally I like the Condor better. I’m old school so I run both brakes and all 4 pegs on my bikes.
Kink whip is nice but has eight spline cranks. My wife rides the whip. Now that the Condor is on sale I just picked one up for the parts. Im on a budget and I needed some sealed double wall rims , 175mm 48 spline cranks, and chromoly forks at a good price because I'm building a new bike for myself. Building a standard Sta 500. The condor frame is unique with the back dropout area. It will be wall art in my shop.
Got one in 2009 imported to Germany, really a nice bike

The Hoffman of today is unrecognisable to the Hoffman who made my evel kinevel that I got back in 1999 ,best BMX I ever owned .
The Hoffman line is very entry level. Good for beginners and parents on a budget.
How about the 26” Condor at Dan’s Comp Black Friday price of $375? I bought a 24” Stolen Saint a couple of years ago, and it feels a little small. I’m 6’5” and 46 years old, just getting back into riding after 25+ years off. Mostly doing flatland tricks. Thoughts? Thanks!
As far as the materials go that is quality for $375!
Full chromoly everything with sealed hubs front and rear! The only thing I can see that’s a little bit lacking are the single walled rims but for that price it might be worth it to replace them

Now that the Condor is $540, would you take it over the Whip or Switch?
I have a kink whip and the condor. The condor has a very unique frame. But the whip has better parts on it with the exception of the cranks. The condor does have 48 spline cranks. But nothing on it is name brand. All of the HB parts seem pretty generic
What about now that the condor is selling for $525?!
Of course as soon as I left my last comment you bring up the kink.
The only complete bikes that are Full Chromoly are the Condor 20” and the Condor 26” 👍🚲💨
I bought my kids colony 14 last summer for 370 now the same bike is on Danscomp for 445
great vid brant. but is a hell no for me. Rather spend $500 on kink whip, or spent $600 on kink switch. better value and both have full chromoly and some aftermarket parts. Seeker is not worth $550.
4pc bars and 4 pegs would have been cool being as how they have a front brake and gyro.
The 21 Premium La Vida is got for $550 seems similar to the Condor.
If I recall correctly his completes use to not be to bad but I forget, my brother had a 16inch from him back In like 07 that thing was built for a 16 lol
Also it was 14mil front and back
I dont know why companies make those 26ers. I'd rather get some MTB bike if it's 26 inch

There are bikes like the kink whip that are full crmo for $200 less.
I fucking hate my backwoods frame. With a passion. I need a shorter frame most definitely. Its a yacht at 21in

Shout out for being honest, bad value. I’m Hoffman bikes fan, but these completes aren’t very competitive… are these limited edition? The price doesn’t add up for me.
I’ll take my bomb proof black 2003 pro team condor absolutely a tank that the man mat Hoffman couldn’t even break …. And he tried to , only hurt himself the bird was impossible to break

As well as almost a 100 more tricks , and kept the sport going through the first “dark time “with the Hoffman road show , I have two condors a 95 ramproom and a 03 pro team my 2003 is my everyday rider and my ramp room is a wall hanger

Thanks my dude , yes Matt has been a mad inspiration for me over the years, I have the 95 RR condor and my 2003 is built with no expense spared, it has RR gen two love handles removable grip tubes , super forks with peg boss and 990 mts , Hoffman front load stem (fist) 36 t cnc skull sprocket , primo power bites , Alex supra G front and back , xs 4x4 48h front hub , odyssey v-3 cassette 48h rear hub , Hoffman chain tensioner tank headset odyssey gtxr gyro , primo pervert, tech 99 break levers John Parker love hate primo grips , hombre 996 breaks 44 lbs tank , also 03 instrument and a 02 pro team instrument, and a dirt bros patriot and short bus . All are complete bikes and rideable, been collecting for 25 years or longer

Only seen the first 2 bikes so far, but it’s looking like they’re overpriced and just trying to tax Matt Hoffmans name.
It's always felt a bit like that. Like you were basically buying a bike and making a small donation to Matt.
Hoffman bikes has really missed the mark In there product line for the last few years. Witch is really disapointing.
