I’m so glad I’m not a fragrance reviewer, so I don’t have to classify something as good or bad. I just smell things, and say, I like it, or I don’t. I can’t remember the last time I said to myself, wow this fragrance is *bad*, but there have been lots of times where I’ve said, I don’t have anywhere to wear this, it’s not my style, etc.
all these “yeah buddy” screams has taken a toll on Eugene’s voice
I just got a sample of this love this smell and my friend just introduced me to all perfume and colognes and this brand totally speaks to me.
For whatever reason, I’ve just never connected with Le Labo. I’m honestly not sure why. It’s not that I feel they are bad, I just don’t connect. Maybe it’s time to revisit. I haven’t sniffed since before the pandemic. Always appreciate the growth.
I have difficulty connecting to lots myself, if you find yourself in that situation, without judging the perfume, simply ask what’s holding you back?
🥀🌹 this was actually the first le labo I tried, and remember really liking it. Never ended up getting a bottle. Reviews are back, YEAH BUDDY!!!

I've had it for a long time. I haven't through a love/dislike/like journey with this. I enjoy and wear it often in the spring and summer when I want something different from what I have in my collection, and it's not too out there either that it does get some compliments.

When I don't "get" a frag, I usually smell a similar one (the one that comes closer, to mind) next to it... It usually reveal subtle notes I didn't get at first. Changes the perspective/appreciation of some frags, sometimes.
Hi Eugene, thanks for sharing. I wore Portait of a Lady today and the whole time I was thinking how I don't enjoy the way I used to. I need to try Rose 31 when I get the chance.

It’s doesn’t small anything like bloody rose mate. That’s what pisses me off, this haven’t seen a rose in miles. Rose perfume shouldn’t smell like the plant, the real rose absolute doesn’t smell like the plant, or flower.

Hi Eugene, hope you are well and meditating. If your mind does not calm down before you meditate go for a jog or do some cathartic breathing. In this age and day its not possible to sit down and quiet the mind. I am writing this after I saw your video with Maria and you said you go on a binge buy and the aggression of the state of your mind when you do it and the guilt after. Dont feel guilty, never regret if you do what you like doing, but be conscious at all time when you shop, the awareness will not let you buy what you dont need. Try it !! watch your mind when you go to the cart and press " complete order" lol! or read OSHO YOU WILL NEVER GO WRONG WITH OSHO. Please dont take this like I am preaching to you but just trying to help my favorite reviewer.
Now to Le Labo, I still have to try this house will start with santal 33 I guess. Thank you and shop with awareness!

I like Bergamote 22, I still think its the best citrus. Also Patchouli 24 and Oud 27.

It's a fragrance I wear under my shirt, especially when I wear my pink rose colored suit. Def want to wear a rose/pink color to go with the scent.
I like these review formats much better than those massively long streams. Much more enjoyable and will be looking forward to future reviews..

It’s funny how you say that the scent possible changed with time. Le labo puts expiration dates on their bottles (I don’t pay any attention). Technically good frags shouldn’t have an expiration date. I get freshness and losing top notes etc.... I don’t see exp dates on Guerlain and dior for example
Expiration dates are a retail trick into getting people to get back in the store more often.
