Dock Side Cafe & Day Use Areas at Harrison Bay State Park Ep.30

In this #fulltimervliving episode we take you to the Dock Side Cafe & Day Use Areas at Harrison Bay State Park. The Cafe is located at the Marina and offers a full breakfast and lunch menu. They also have a bar area and serve drinks and a patio area that overlooks the boat launch and Marina.
In this same building you can get your stamp for visiting the state park. Across the water or just a short drive and you can go to the fishing pier which overlooks the lake, and you can see campground C and the day use area. As you drive back past the campground sections A (big rig friendly), B, C and D (tents only) you will come to the very popular day use area. This area hosts the locals as they picnic, fish, Kayak and paddle board. Or you can sit on the swing and enjoy a sunset.

The Cafe looks like somewhere I'd totally eat at. The food looks so good and sitting by the water is always the best way to start any day. Love traveling with you guys through videos to different RV parks.

For a marina, they do have good food. My goal was coffee that morning lol. And the rest if the day on the lake was perfect.

What a great park- there is so much to do there between the playground area, swings, fishing, boating, water sports, dining- wow what a fun day. I love how it looks sunny and warm there. We are in the middle of an ice storm in Texas so seeing the warm sun was really awesome today. Thank you.

Thank you. It's really great if you can book the lake front sites. But the day use areas are all accessible as well by a walk or bike.

Ooo I love that the park has a dog park area with dog waste stations. Makes it easier to bring your dog along. And it sounds like it’s good to go after school is back in session since the picnic tables stay full. Omg I was trying to tell someone about paddle boarding the other day and for someone couldn’t remember the name of it smh 🤦🏽‍♀️.

I like to Kayak, haven't tried the paddle boards. We see a lot of people there with dogs on the paddle boards.
