@@Crusaderscientist plus restoration is one of the most mind-numbing skills to grind out that high All for one gimmicky perk that most players won't be able to use for the sake that they have the unofficial patch
I agree. I play as a vampire spellsword and restoration is very handy, especially when you want to have infinite magick and be completely immune to magic. Atronach Stone (50%), Alteration's Atronach Perk (30%), Restoration's Necromage perk as a vampire. Most people don't quite understand how it works, but it makes all spells more effective against undead, and as a vampire, you are undead, so all spells used against yourself are more powerful. So, if you become a vampire first, then get necromage, it will increase the power of Atronach and you'll have 100% spell absorption, which means, you are immune to all magic effects, and magic effects restore your magicka, including area of effect spells. And, this also applies to any spells you cast on yourself, so if you put down, let's say Circle of Protection, you'll absorb magicka from the circle as long as you stand inside it, and you'll regen your magicka incredibly fast. And this is just the start of it. Once you have the equilibrium spell? It gets really fun, because now you can heal yourself infinitely too and not have to worry about dying.
I've just got the anniversary edition & was working on an archer, but you changed my mind when I saw the chest with all those spells 😂 The anniversary edition has added some cool stuff for mages!
If y’all want a shortcut just dupe gold ingots and grand soul gems, smith gold rings till 100 smithing (takes around 1700 ingots, then enchant the rings with fortify sneak till 100 enchanting (takes like 200 rings/soul gems and is the most valuable enchantment iirc). If you enchant 4 armor pieces in a school of magic with 25% Magica cost reduction you can now cast any spell in that school of magic infinitely 👍
For those of you who want to become a true powerhouse follow this guide but play as a Breton instead You'll have 25% resistance to magic passively and then you'll get an additional 25% if you pick the Lord Stone instead of the atronach This also stops your summons from being canceled by the atronach so it's very useful And then if you get the agent of Mara ability that would be 65% magic resistance and with two perks in the alteration tree you could reach the magic resistance cap of 85% This magic resistance applies to dragon breath and spells no matter their element or type This means you would only really be vulnerable to poison and physical damage but you can crowd control enemies with physical damage Plus poison enemies are typically easy to kill such as frostbite spiders and chaurus Falmer also use poison however they attack you like physical enemies so the same crowd control applies to them
I am a Breton felmale mage it just works for me and I love your comment very useful but I'm a Breton felmale mage times I wish I would have when will the wood elf but I went with the Breton maybe I didn't spell that right too late now lol
being a wolf would make you 100% resistant to poison and disease then you just have to worry about physical damage...to increase your magic resistance you can get the enchantment also.
I'm currently using your guide now to make a good mage build, I finally came back to Skyrim for the first time in a couple of months too, thanks for the guide bro :D
Nice complete rundown. I like that you included the Potions of Fortify Destruction, the boost it gives to Destruction damage can't be understated. You can also make them with Nightshade and Glowing Mushrooms, which you can easily find, and plant at a player home for all the potions you could ever want. It's the only way to scale Destruction damage at higher levels to keep the spells viable for the whole playthrough, even on Legendary difficulty. Love some of the CC additions they included in AE. Really rounds out the Mage archetype/experience.
with the AE addons if you have goblins active Steel-Blue Entoloma replaces nightshade in almost every potion recipe especially since it can be planted, but Creep Cluster + Steel-Blue Enteloma + Glowing Mushroom makes fortify carry weight + Fortify Destruction + Restore Magicka great for both use and financial income
WOW! Just wow. This is not only a concisely done video, it's extremely precise as well. I love that you did it step-by-step! I can't wait to start this. I learned a bunch of new things too. So thank you. You have more than earned my sub for this. 🤙🏼🖖🏼💪🏼
That build would be infinitely better if you were a vampire with the necromage perk. Restoration tree is a must for a godlike build. Specifically, you'll have infinite magicka and be immune to magic and magic effects, which, as a vampire is fairly nice, along with the Increases the potency of Illusion spells by 25% and the 25% harder to detect while sneaking. Level your restoration to 70, which is pretty easy to do. Just enchant 4 items with fortify restoration, then let a couple bandits whack you for a while as you constantly heal. Then go into a crypt and continually cast repel undead over and over again. You'll be there pretty quickly. Anyway, once you have 70 restoration, reset your perks, then become a vampire/vampire lord. I usually go kill Miraak pretty quickly so I can reset my perks, then I go become a vampire and the first perks I get are up to necromage. WHY? Necromage makes all spells more effective against undead, and as a vampire, you are undead, so all spells used against you are more powerful, including those you cast on yourself. So, vampire first, necromage second, then get all of the other stuff. Atronach stone gives you 50% absorption. The Atronach perk in the Alteration tree will give you 30% absorption. And, since you were a vampire with necromage, you'll have 100% absorption, and you'll be immune to all magic and magic effects, and any magic effect on you will restore your magicka very, very quickly. This include Area of Effect (AoE) spells. So, if you cast a spell like Circle of Protection, you will absorb the magicka from it and your magicka will constantly regen and super speed. And see how you were taking big hits? Yeah. Stand in the circle and you can power heal all day long. Since you like conjuration, put Atronach on the crown so you can take it off so you can conjure at will, then put it back on again to become immune. Of course, this is usually later in the game since the best time to become a vampire is after you've done Dawnguard.
the Necromage perk is more effective AGAINST undead your character doesn't need to be a vampire for it to work , that being said Restoration is not only great at keeping your character and followers alive it is very helpful for Magika regeneration plus usually wards are not great because they drain to much magic but with the right perk wards will regenerate magika when hit by spell damage so they could be more useful occasionally also they have turn undead spells as well
@@musicmaker1961 I understand that, but in the game, when you become a vampire, your character is classified as undead, so all spells you use on yourself is also stronger, as are perks and standing stone effects. But, it's not retroactive, and will only apply to perks you get after you get it. So, the firing order is, get to 70 restoration, reset your perks, learn necromage, and then add your other perks after it, then your standing stones. There are many ways to reset your perks too. If you're a purist, do the Miraak quest. At the end you can reset your perks any time after defeating him. There are also mods that allow you to do it in game. I have one that lets me buy it (not cheap) from specific vendors.

After you use the worm staff on the dremora sovereign and lvl up and revive him again after he gets killed by something it says he is too powerful or something, so it's not unlimited atleast for me and idk why.
Yeah, sometimes you get that message when first try to use the Staff of Worms on the draemora. I also have this problem after he dies the first time. The only way around it, as far as I can figure out, is to load a save before he dies. Now I save much more often. He is only somewhat useful, but I am still on the fence as whether to keep him. Sometimes it is a hassle to keep him from dying (...looking at those Dwemer traps!).

They are special Gems not standard ones. On is on the floor by the dead body then you need to click the status then sleep enter the dream world to find the other 3
Is there a trick to fast traveling while casting? It's not working for me. My spells stop when I travel. Idk if I'm doing something wrong or if it's PS4 version?
They need to let us utilize all the extra heart scales we can get every dragon fight. Its an extra bit of money and weight but thats all they are and it only makes sense to at least be able to use them in smithing somehow?

My Azura star isn’t the “black” edition (cause I gave it back to the daedric lord). And because it’s not the black edition, I can only soul trap weaker forms of life-no black soul storage for NPCs. I’ll try n get it right on next toon…….
Which mod is it that affects the food models, please? The pies or sweetrolls on the left at 22:43 look great.
I have a mod list check the channel
I have the anniversary patch for Skyrim but also have another patch but I can’t get the home of MYRWATCH.
Go to creation club and click download on it
@@GameVibzMason ty for the information but can u tell me if the quest THE RISING DEAD is a hard quest to get through or not?
@@juliandrake-feary3854no you literally just kill a bunch of zombie ps and that’s that
I'm at Mara's Eye Pond & I can't put the soul gems in the holders! I have plenty of soul gems, some filled, some are not, but absolutely NOTHING happens when I go near the holders. Is there something else I need to do to be able to put the soul gems in the holders? I can't even leave the place & come back in. Sooo pissed & frustrated right now
They are special Gems not standard ones. On is on the floor by the dead body then you need to click the status then sleep enter the dream world to find the other 3
@@GameVibzMason I have the special one off the floor, but I didn't sleep, so I'll try sleeping & see if that works.
Click the purple Statue then sleep
@@GameVibzMason that worked! Got it! Thanks!
What were the ingredients for the potion you showed off in the beginning
You can train, and sell more potions, sleep to level up, then rinse and repeat
Will you do this for Thief and Warrior as well?
I love the updated map of Skyrim! Is that new with AE or is it a mod?
It's most probably a "Quality World Map" mod. I don't think Bethesda has fixed or improved ANYTHING since Skyrim SE.
Map mod I have a video of my mods on my channel
Another awesome video!
Hey I don't have any creation club mods would the build be ok without them
Idk why but for me the smugglers had no quest if I read the letter nothing happen
Any ideas as to why it won't give me the option to place the soul gems to turn them black..
Tried reading the second clue and tracking the quest but still no lucj
Ooooh I think it's because I took the soul gems off at the beginning
Which sucks cause my last save is way before damn well here we go again
Nope that wasn't it okay idk why the hell it's not giving me the option to change the gems
This is so frustrating lol I guess I don't get to make black gems
Is there a trick to fast traveling while casting? It's not working for me. My spells stop when I travel. Idk if I'm doing something wrong or if it's PS4 version?
You need the Suit to make Magic codt nothing
The game looks so good and beautiful. It’s the anniversary edition overhaul?

So at fort Amul how the hell are you wiping em in one hit cause I have followed to a T and do not have anything that I can use that does that

Does the salmon roe riveer replenish ?
They need to let us utilize all the extra heart scales we can get every dragon fight. Its an extra bit of money and weight but thats all they are and it only makes sense to at least be able to use them in smithing somehow?
Of course do what you think is best
But give oblivion a shot
Out of curiosity is all this being done on Legendary or does difficultly not matter?
I usually play on Adept until it gets easy then I turn it up
Dreugh wax in fortify enchanting potion.. I cant get it from the merchant 🙂
