Sangah, what I find the most attractive in you is how you always focus on Jesus, your Savior. He has given you so many talents, and you never fail to acknowledge Him for His goodness, grace and mercy. It would not matter which piano you played...you would still set your sights on Him and eternity.

Dear Lisa I missed the stream! Silly me. I am sending you a message to let you know I have just watched Sangah play The Very Thought of You. I thought to myself now there's a great song that Lisa would know and love. I was amazed Sangah was not familiar with it (that is not a criticism). She actually has played it before accompanying the video with Natalie Cole and is was lovely. I hope this message does not convey anything other than a friendly comment. I also chat with the Duke, Marcini, Ron and all the tribe. I just like having another Sangah fan who likes the same sort of songs as me. BooBooG is another - we both love the Beatles and Paul McCartney. The others are more into rock and disco. I will not be bothering you with a constant flow of messages. It was March this year when I first heard you play this hymn in a live stream. I was struck by the vulnerability and power that you expressed. I was so moved and I broke the replay button. Your playing communicates the message that you need to be vulnerable before you become strong. This is so, so beautiful.

Thank you for your song of worship. I look forward to it every Sunday morning. This hymn has special meaning to me. I am a church pianist. One day while playing this song, I noticed a lady filled with tears. I then realized how powerful music was. This experience has kept me serving the Lord with music, even though I am getting older having arthritis on my fingers. 🙏
I had not heard this hymn before I started listening to Sangah Noona. Now it is my favourite. The words are so relevant to these troubled times. (And beautifully played of course).
