Babys get to know a lot of things by touching them with their hands and feet. Its important for a baby to have something to grab, so maybe leave the hand free during the day.. less smell also..

Also if you don’t already I HIGHLY recommend doing a red light for the night feedings! It helped my son stay asleep and sleep longer stretches I realized! We also have my son sleep the same way! Swaddled, in his snuggle me lounger, and in the bassinet. I know it’s not recommended, but he has amazing neck movement, and he sleeps with a hand by his face blocking the lounger anyways. He is 8 weeks and has been sleeping 5-7 hours now that I started using red light every night and having a set routine! Our routine is bath, lotion, aquaphor on his bum before bed, a little of the proudly all over balm on his face because it’s 100% non toxic, and then I turn on pink noise, feed him, burp him, rock him and put him down and he’s been sleeping 10/11 until 5/6!!! Then I feed him and burp him and back to bed until 8-9 ish! I know every baby is different, but my son was colic for 4 weeks and this routine still worked for him! You are doing amazing and I am in love with all of this new mom content as I’m going through it myself too right now! Makes me feel a little less alone!😂❤️
Eventually I do hope to transition him to 8-8 or 7-7, but I won’t worry about that until he can self soothe and sleep in his own crib!!

I would love to hear you open up about how your friendships or relationships with certain people changed (good and/or bad) because you're relatively young to have a baby and I can imagine some of your friends that are maybe still graduating or starting their first jobs or finding their first appartments that can't really relate to your situation anymore and how that affects a friendship. On the other hand I can also imagine you're now part of the 'motherhood'-club and how that brings a whole new dimension of connections and relationships with it :)) Anyways, you're doing amazing and I'm genuinly surprised you're uploading this much at this point, please remember it's okay to rest and take a break if you need to as well xx

Hey 🥰 just a friendly reminder that the baby should never wear a onesie with foots when in the baby carrier because it pulls back the toes which can lead to unhealthy foot development. The socks should always be apart from the onesie (hope that makes sense)
Just a tip of your alone you can still shower.and everything. Either do it with baby or put baby down on a rug or in a seat in the bathroom with you.

Millie moon diapers are amazing (they do run a tad bigger I feel like), but no joke they are so insanely soft AND are super absorbent, I also can never smell pee through them like I could with target brand, Huggies, and pampers. Idk what diapers you are using now, but just wanted to add that! Also he is FREAKING ADORABLE.

You guys should get a peepee teepee it’ll save the second diaper during changes! Its a little shield that sits over their penis and helps limits them peeing everywhere or on the second diaper!
