so happy for you girl! you’re doing a great job ❤ just wanted to shed some light on this but i’m almost 2 months postpartum and i promise breastfeeding gets so much better! keep doing what you’re doing. you and baby got this!
I love seeing how mobile you are just 3 weeks after having Zeke! I am currently 35 weeks pregnant with my first and have been a little scared of postpartum and being bound to my bed or bound to the couch, but it seems like you're doing great running errands and going for walks, etc. Very encouraging for sure!!!
Watching your videos make me so happy, especially now that there is the newest family member. Baby Zeke is honestly the cutest baby and he doesn't know how lucky he is with you guys as parents. Love you guys x
I’m due in 5 weeks and I have LOVED following your journey! I feel so clueless about all things baby so it helps to have someone talking so openly about it-struggles and all! Zeke is precious, congratulations🤍🤍
What a wonderful job you guys are doing as being parents to baby Zeke. Baby Zeke is very blessed to have a mommy and daddy like you all. Your son has definitely won the lottery on having awesome parents like you all!💙 And of course Rocco is an amazing big brother! 🐕🐾❤️
Lauren I work in early intervention and that’s kinda what drew me to your page. & You are doing such a wonderful job hunn!!! Not surprised at all!!! I just love that you are doing such an awesome job!!
Oh wow I’ve never knew you could clean fruit like that do you mind sharing the product you used because I eat alot of fruit and would love a different way of cleaning fruit
I had the same latching problems. It took a solid 8 weeks to get the hang of it all for both of us. Nursing while laying down was a lifesaver. Saved my back/neck and helped both of us get more comfortable! Congratulations! It is a beautiful journey you’re on💛
You probably have done lots of research about breast feeding BUT my sister had the same problem with one of her nipples too and had to use a nipple cover on just one boob while breast feeding. She said it helped loads. I love how your videos are transitioning. Been here since you were making videos in your room at your dad’s. So happy for you girl.
My son was born on Feb 17th also! He was exactly 2 weeks early. Marcus's due date was 3-3-23 and hes my 1st(2nd pregnancy) & i was in labor for only 6 hours & pushed for lil under a hour & did it all with no meds & 7 pds 13.7 ounces & 20.8 inches long, my big boy is atleast 10 pounds i swear. Also had rlly bad back labor
Loving your videos! Before this one I just watched your nesting/ baby prep one and they're so refreshing and it's nice that they're newer an up to date. Btw I also got a few ideas from you like labeling my drawers before baby comes in September and the whole thing on breastfeeding was also very informative, thank you!
You are an inspiration and know that in this next season of life with your hubby going back to work you will get through anything! God is always able❤️ love following along!
I've been in love with your channel since the beginning and when you said you were expecting I lost it your an amazing woman, wife and now mama and I can't wait to keep watching your family grow! Baby boy is absolutely beautiful ❤️
Just a tip, unless bub is doing poops all through the night, don't feel like you need to change him every time he wakes. They can be fed and go back to bed without a nappy change if they haven't done a poop. It's up to you if you feel better about changing them but consider that wet, cold wipes on their little bum can wake them up more and a night you really want to do the least amount of bothering them so they'll go back to sleep easily. Hope this helps
I have been watching you for many years now and it is so cool to see who you have become! Your are such a great mom to the most adorable little baby! Love you Lauryn:)
Congratulations....your baby boy/family are just adorable. I started watching your channel because I'm gonna be a grandma in June 💗 . And it's been 27 years since I had my youngest son, so I need to know everything that's new for baby essentials. Loving your content!!
Hi Lauryn good morning happy Friday morning and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of you and I enjoy your channel because you are amazing
You’re doing so great momma! I loved watching this. I’m 6 weeks away from my due date with my first baby and I hope to be as well organized and productive as you seem to be!😅😊
I'm loving the whole new content in your motherhood journey 😊 taking good care of baby Zeke💙 he's such a cute baby with heart shaped on his forehead I adore it so much❤ You're doing great Momma❤❤ sending you and Kekoa lots of hugs and kisses ❣️❣️
I'm so glad to hear from you about breast feeding. Since my baby is a preemie, I've been trying to have him latch on my breast but he seems confused and didn't latch too long but he got the concept...lol so it takes time for him to breast feed. I'm looking into electric breast pumps also for when we go out etc. Right now I"m renting a pump from hospital because is much better, and the brand is medela. I was looking elevia hope that works for me...the electric medela didn't work for me very well. But I'm so glad all of you are adjusting well!!! My baby boy can come home possibly this week! So I will experience lack of sleep for sure...
How are you doing mentally? Im thinking about working PT after my baby boy is born and thankfully my husband is home and can help out but im kinda scared im going to be exhausted
He is adorable. You and your husband are doing great. You will be fine taking care of baby boy and Rocco when your husband goes back to work. God bless all of you 🙏 ❤️
I’ve been so excited for this vlog! The side laying breast feeding position helped me a lot in the beginning for an easy latch so you can always try that! ❤
I love these videos! Seeing Rocco with Zeke makes me wonder how my Great Dane will react when I have a baby one day hahah You're a great mama never forget that! love all the way from Australia
I’m 3 months pregnant and so close to approaching the second trimester, did you deal with bad days of morning sickness? And if so did you take any remedies to help or just take it day by day? My good days are good but I’ve lost 15lbs so clearly my bad days are pretty bad 😵💫
Congratulations mama!!! I gratefully never got sick too bad so I don’t know any of the best remedies :( but praying you feel better sooner than later!!!
I gave my baby a bottle from day one in addition to mostly breastfeeding. She still ended up refusing the bottle eventually around 2 months old. So don’t rush to introduce a bottle because apparently it’s all out of your control and baby can develop a preference despite having bottle and breast from day one. Baby does what baby wants 😂 we just have to go along for the crazy ride. She’s almost 6 months old now and still hates bottles but I can get her to drink a few ounces from the bottle at a time 🤷♀️
It feels like it's gone quickly! It felt like yesterday you posted your vlog about announcing your pregnancy ❤ I also need to remind myself that I'm 18 years old and not ready for a baby yet because I'm getting hella baby fever 😂
Hi! i’m due tomorrow March 17, my baby is still not here 😢 but we are excited to meet him. I am going to be a young mom and i have been following your pregnancy journey. It’s such an inspiration to me and i’m always looking forward to your next videos ❤
I call it the slacker boob because it produces half of my right side they say sometimes it evens out but my right is my favorite too😆 I’m so happy breastfeeding is going good for you mama♥️♥️
I would put a washcloth over my son's parts when I would change him so if he pees it doesn't get on me or everywhere lol. Then I'd just rinse it out and wash it. But that's what saved me and my son too cause he'd get himself sometimes 😭🤣
Baby Zeke is so cute. I love the 2 nd pierce earrings I did not see the link for those could you give me the link. Thank you and God Bless your little family.
Have you tried side laying ?! It saved me during breast feeding. It was so much more relaxing, more comfortable and in turn, more successful. It's controversial- but eventually it's how we did afternoon naps - he'd fall asleep feeding and we would have a good nap together. It's also so nice for night feeds because you don't have to sit up in bed😅
Breastfeeding is hard, tiring, and rewarding all at the same time. First time mama here still exclusively breastfeeding 2 years later. My nipples will never look the same 😂
Hello! I was wondering how much weight you gained during and lost so far postpartum and if you felt lighter right after birth ? cuz I have been d gaining so much weight during. My preganancy
Hey mama 🥹🤍 your doing amazing am a 20y old mom with a 9m old baby boy and we also had a bumpy road with breast feeding but eventually everything just clicks and it’s just the best feeling ever am still breastfeeding and hoping to continue as much as I can. I ❤ your videos
I had the same breastfeeding problem as you. Mine only latched to my left and refused the right. Lactation specialist told me to only offer the non preferred boob for 24 hours. She said you be in control of meal time not your baby and if you keep giving in to his preferred side, he’ll never learn. I was also worried that the baby would go hungry and she assured me that baby won’t. They’ll eventually catch on that it’s the same “food” just a different boob. Try laying down and feeding him. That might be easier for you and once he gets use to it then try your preferred method. I did that (the football hold was hard for me to do) and eventually one day my baby decided to latch. Now I’m just struggling with super sore nipples. It’s been 6 weeks and I’m dying. Also I won’t let my baby go longer than 15 minutes. The baby gotta learn how to be efficient with meal time. Lol. Obviously I look for ques to see if baby is still hungry and watch how baby is sucking. Most of the time baby just uses me to smooth herself and my nipples hurt too much for that! If you have any tips for sore nipples, please let me know. And good luck to you!!
**MEDELA NIPPLE SHIELDS **found at target are a life saver! A silicone nipple shield for breastfeeding moms. They protect your nipple and shape it so the baby latches better. You won’t regret it! ❤❤❤ love and prayers for you and the family.
Same except my good one is the left. My flat nip side I fold like a sandwich and just shove in there when he's open lol. That and a nipple shield helped. We use mam the nipple is the best shape and the silicone is so soft. My husband did so much I almost doubted myself but after he went back but you've got it. It's so scary at first. My baby started sleeping through night around 4 weeks to a month and it was life changing. I think what helped us was just following his cues and not following the schedules people write and post about. We naturally fell into that pattern. Every baby is totally different though. You will get sleep and things will be awesome!!
