First, congrats on winning Dallas!….another thing to mention, is that you’re doing all that running on concrete. No bounce/give in the floor. I prefer road running which is porous or up to 800m on an assault runner. My calves got tight quick even with all the foam rolling and stretching before hand. Totally different feel for the run. As my training partner/friend wants to do the mix doubles next year in Chicago. Our running training will be done inside our garden center to help our calves out. I had planned to pace everything out with breaking it up into sets. That sure helps a lot. My hardest event was the sled pull. Trained with heavier weights, which helped, but still struggled with the pull. I agree with training 16-20 weeks out. My Saturday sessions, lol….and incorporating the lift run program or PA the rest of the weeks. Ps., it was GREAT meeting you and Patrick at the event!!! Thank you for all you guys do!!!! ❤️
This is great, Kristi! I have shared this video with most of my athletic friends. You put it in an easily understandable language. Thank you - Big fan since CF time!
Thank you. This Hyrox thing has been a mystery to me. I did look online and understood the running but I didn’t know about the stations on top of running. The structure was a mystery to me. Cool…
I’m a good runner for my age (45) but I’m always injured as I don’t do enough S&C. I like this as I have a high tolerance and can go forever when running. Not sure on the exercises as I’m a typical skinny runner 😂, but I want to try this and see if this is my new challenge that I need and hopefully will be injury free with the build up of S&C.
Hi I’ll be participating in my first Hyrox this year. I was wondering what dietary changes or supplementations based on your experience do you recommend for this particular race.
Great advice, I did Chicago last month as my first Hyrox and as an Ironman triathlete it was so different. sled is heavy but its the burpees and lunges followed by run thats so hard. Its all LT1 for 60-90 min.
Greta video! I am actually looking for a program that trains for endurance cycling/runing and strength. My goal and to compete in a few road races, short triathlons and maybe Hyrox in 2025. Would love to know more about the program options? Thx you!
I am new to the channel Kristi and I just want to say you are an inspiration . May God bless you and your family . Keep it up the great work . thanks

That is awesome! we were at the Chicago race also!! and yes, the burpees are one of the hardest stations!
I love love love love hyrox ❤
I miss you in CFG
Thought I walked by you in Dallas. Great channel. Wish I said hi.
Grab us next time!!
Not sure I agree about runnibg being the main focus. If you can't move the sled you are out.On the run you can always walk/run.
That is true, but 3,000-6,000 people go through the race any given weekend and we have not seen anyone not be able to push the sled.

That's great, i see the race and maybe crossfit's replace competence
🥰
I can’t run at all, in going solo 🎉
