I’m showing my age. The advert set to music sang “ John Collier, John Collier the window to watch” 1970s. Clever people who design adverts that I can still sing this 50 years later 😂
I remember that, but my favourite was we are the lads from country life and you’ll never put a better butter on yer knife!
I sang that out loud too ! 🤭
The curtains 100%, love the design, William Morris, say no more. Gorgeous!☕️
☕ Loved watching you and Nick out at yard sales! Great Finds!!!
☕️some great finds, I loved the garage at the back with all the vintage goodies selling for peanuts!
Thanks as always. have an amazing weekend
☕️ you looked so stoked with the curtains - great find 🙌🙌🙌
☕ Great watch thank you
The curtains are lovely and so was your smile when you realized who they were designed by.
Omg my parents had those curtains when I was a child growing up. I remember we moved into a new house in 1982 and those curtains were already up as they were left by the previous house owner. I can remember my Mum saying they were good curtains!! I shall show Mum your video! Great find Andrea x
☕ really enjoyed coming along on your yard sale adventure and seeing the haul! Great fun and wish we had yard sales where I live.
☕️ fab vintage haul Andrea
☕cheers, congrats on the fab curtains!
🍵 ☕️ 🫖 🧋 love the curtains. Lol Ive actually been picking up the William Morris mugs whenever i see them 😂
Hi Andrea, not long been subscribed, but real enjoy what you and Nick find in yard sales and charity shops. You do find some great items. Looking forward to your next video. ☕
Fab finds horrid day but we’ll worth it in the end
I recognised the pattern straight away! The William Morris Gallery is 10 mins from me in London E17. It's a great place to visit. Love all your video ( and Nic's of course!)
☕ Love the curtains also like the coffee percolator. Think tootal were/possibly still a posh manchester brand.
☕️🫖❤Adore the William Morris curtains! Bravo 👏🏽
☕great haul x
The curtains are gorgeous. I remember my mum making some curtains from that fabric in the 1970s. As soon as I saw them on the video, I was willing you to pick them up! ☕️
☕️ I did think they looked like William Morris but how wonderful that the are William Morris so worthwhile to go out in all that rain for ❤️
Hi, from Kentucky USA. I just found your videos and I really like your content. Thanks for the work you put in, and keep it up. I've always wondered about yardsales in the UK, I knew about the car boot but wondered if there were such things as an actual yardsale. Now I know. Thanks again.
Hi Rosa, really glad to hear you’re enjoying the videos 😊
Hands down the curtains were my favorite, what a pretty design, and I could hear and see the quality of them in the video. I have to admit the wooden handle on that percolator was very nice! ☕
☕️. I loved the Horlicks glass and frother…. Thank you for taking us with you on your treasure hunt Andrea (and Nick and Jeff) ❤❤❤
i knew instantly what those curtains were because I bought that fabric in green from John Lewis in the 70’s / 80’s to make a door curtain and had to scrimp on the amount because the fabric cost so much !
Watched till the very end☕️🫖👍👍….What a complete
ly awful day folks…. but some really interesting finds for both of you…Nic in particular…. Buying up whole stall of items… and more besides!!!😱… so sorry for those people who went to lots of time and trouble to prepare… and got soaked by the April’showers… or more like ‘downpours’…did see quite a few customers though… so hope wasn’t too bad for them?……Anyway…. Are you collecting Coffee percolators now Andrea???…. Like those by buses that turn up in 2s and 3s after you have been waiting for ages… but another good seller… when you can part with it. 😳😳😂!!..The William Morris curtains… will certainly be of great interest to many” Dedicated of Fashion” ( by the, I think) of the 70s!!!… Sorry to say brown/orange colours are not my favourite combo…But those curtains are iconic in style…and Sanderson and designed by the great Man 👍👍…Same goes for the Ties you found ….will be great for those ‘Dedicated Followers of Fashion’! My favourite items were the set of glasses… and I would be tempted to keep them.. a full set of 6… for a start!!and very vintage again…We’ll done … now I am off to see Nics ‘haul’ 👍👍…..,☕️🫖…Sue 😀
I’m sure we had those 70’s curtains in our dining room when I was a kid 😳 ☕️
☕️ great ties ! I can hear the John collier song now lol. I’m new to reselling, in fact only started this weekend. I’ve retired and want to get just a few funds for my winter fuel bills. I get so much from your other channel and didn’t know about yours. Gonna enjoy ‘catch up’ on your channel. ❤
Thanks Linda, good luck with the reselling 🙂
Hi Andrea, nice haul.I've owned a similar coffee pot with abrasions & managed to gently polish them out using silver burnishing cotton (brasso will do).Thought you might be lucky enough to apply to yours ? I had thr same 1970's curtains in my bedroom back in the day Cheers!
What a lovely surprise with the fabulous curtains Andrea x ☕️
My Mum had them curtains in the kitchen of our farm house, I lost my Mum last month it was a lovely memory to see xx
nice haul
☕️ thanks Andrea, as always interesting and informative
Definitely the curtains. I was yelling at you to pick them up. 😂 I love William Morris designs and you can't go wrong with Sanderson. A great haul.🌸☕🫖
☕☕☕☕❤👏👏👏. Fabulous finds Andrea !
☕ another fab video thank you for sharing 😊
Hi Andrea, yay to the coffee pot, shame about the condition. I guessed the curtains were Sanderson and William Morris when you looked at them on the stall and was hoping you got them, well done, such a bargain and beautiful. Love those ties too. ☕️☕️
☕ it took awile for me to figure out the coffee cup...lol. showing my age. Great video. There was me thinking you didnt get as much rain as we have in Wales
My fav is definitely those curtains. I got chills watching you get chills. They are so the stuff, aren't they. I would love to have them. What Is your eBay shop? Please and thank you.
☺️ There’s a link to my Etsy shop in the description box. Our joint ebay shop is the-hills-are-alive.

I'm sure you are aware but incase you are not. The table light from what i can see, doesnt look like it has an earth in the cable it looks like twin flex? It will need rewiring to earth the metal lamp holder. The plug doesnt have insulated pins either.
Yes, it will need a rewire 🙂
🍵
☕

Great haul. Did I see a Led Zeppelin album?
Yes, it was priced at resell retail price though 😕 So we didn’t buy it.
Those ties are ripe for a TV wardrobe department. ☕️
